I've been going to 1TO1FITNESS in Potomac for about a month now and I'm happy with it so far.
The one-on-one training format works well for me. My trainer is knowledgeable and puts together workouts that match my fitness level. I'm already seeing some progress and feeling more motivated to stick with it.
The facility is clean and the equipment is good. The personalized attention helps me stay consistent and actually know what I'm doing.
If you're in Potomac and want personal training, I'd recommend checking them out.

A challenging workout every time (twice per week for the past two years), no matter which trainer I’m working with. All trainers are knowledgable and well-educated in their field. In addition, they are just nice, enjoyable people. The Potomac location is in top-knotch condition - clean & organized, with lots of equipment, all in good repair.

I have been training at 1 to 1 Fitness in Potomac for 2 months, twice a week. I had been training at a gym in Ashburn for years, but retired and don't want to drive out there to work out! I think 1 to 1 Fitness is an excellent gym. They have multiple trainers, and you work out with different people all the time. But they keep meticulous notes on their clients, their workouts, their physical issues, etc. The trainers are very conscientious about physical issues, but they still push you to train. I really like all of the trainers I have worked with. I highly recommend 1 to 1 Fitness in Potomac. They also have been very responsive when I needed to change my workout schedule or when I had questions about the gym or billing. I intend to stay with them for a long time!

My husband has been a client of 1TO1 for over 30 years. I came to them only recently when it became apparent that walking and tennis are not enough to keep my over-65 body operating as I want. 1TO1 was very welcoming and not at all judgmental. They have structured a program to meet my needs/goals and continue to surprise me every session with new and creative ways to accomplish those objectives. Each and every trainer has been engaging, encouraging and attentive to my body's strengths (and more importantly, weaknesses). I actually look forward to my sessions, and appreciate the confidence that they are giving me.

I have wanted a personal trainer for a long time and didn’t have a practical solution. This place has been fantastic. It is convenient, friendly, appropriately challenging, very professional. They keep me moving and keep it interesting. The price feels reasonable for the Bethesda area. Highly recommended.

The trainers at 1:1 are filled with knowledge and create interesting and individualized workouts to build strength, challenge body ( and mind). They are also friendly, the facility is so immaculate and the equipment is new- all hydrolics. Overall 1:1 is a 10 in every way!

1-2-1 are excellent. I struggle with a few past injuries, they are careful to work with them rather than just “pushing” until the injury comes back (yes other gyms do!). I feel fitter and much better for my experience at 1-2-1 and will continue to work with them all.

I can't say enough good stuff about working with 1to1Fitness and their trainers...

As I get older, it's critical for me to do everything I can to make sure that I am still fit and strong - I'm not working out to win any contests, but because I want to live my life to the fullest and feel confident that my body can keep up! 1to1 Trainers are terrific at assessing where each client is - in terms of age, strength, weaknesses, weight, goals and more - and then helping them to improve their physical well-being based on each client's needs. I always leave the gym amazed at what I was able to accomplish, valuing the depth of my trainers' expertise, and feeling both exhausted and invigorated by the work.

It's not cheap to train compared to a regular gym membership, but for me, this is the most important money I spend every month: for me, for my health, and to invest in my future.

This place is fantastic. I have worked with four different trainers, and they are all excellent. They keep track of what I can do and have done and so it really doesn’t matter who I see. They know just how hard to push without pushing too far. I never feel sore the next day. I have made a lot of progress.

One to one caters to the clients. If you are a gym bro then they will help you look pretty with your muscles, if your an 80+ year old who just wants to hit golf balls another 20 years they will help you win life, if you are like the rest of us who want to not be fat and feel old all the time they will use a combination of techniques to make you the right kind of sore and let you brag to your friends over wine how hard your trainer pushes you- but makes you feel so good at the same time.
Don't think, just do it.
