I was invited by my daughter to work out with her at 410 Fitness. As an obese 60+ year old, my first question was "are there other overweight people there?" She assured me that the gym was very welcoming and inclusive. Our instructor Akiva was supportive and helpful, offering modifications and feedback on form. The other participants were friendly and encouraging. I had a great experience, and felt as though I'd had a personal training session in a group setting. I can’t say enough about the program at 410 Fitness. A big shout out to Andrea, Joe and all of the incredible trainers at the gym - they are highly knowledgeable, attentive, and assist in adapting/ scaling movements for any age or ability. Being in my early 60s, I am more careful with exercise, but I can say that in my time at 410, I’ve gained measurable muscle mass, flexibility, core stability (even learned how to fall well!) all while feeling safe and supported. The programming is engaging, varied and designed to holistically strengthen one's body. Another reason why 410 is so special is that in addition to having a great fitness program, it is a wonderful and welcoming community that is there to support you and make you smile!

great place for inclusive and sustainable workouts! i did not come in with a lot of weight lifting experience. the workouts are presented with all kinds of modifications and staff checks on everyone to make sure they’re comfortable and being safe. definitely the least intimidating gym i’ve ever joined!

I can’t say enough about how much 410 has meant to me! After having a baby, I was struggling to find myself again and honestly felt intimidated about getting back into a gym. I was intimidate even before having the baby if I'm being honest. From day one, the warm welcomes—from both fellow gym members and the trainers—instantly put me at ease. The trainers strike the perfect balance of challenging me while keeping me safe, always offering modifications. The trainers explain every exercise and its modifications at the start of each class, so no one ever feels lost or singled out. It creates a culture where both beginners and experienced members feel safe, supported, and comfortable—without having to constantly ask for help. And even when I need modifications beyond what's offered, the environment feels comfortable to do that. Their encouragement has truly helped me rebuild my confidence and strength. I’m so grateful for this community and can’t recommend 410 highly enough!

The coaches all meet you on your level, while encouraging you to grow and challenge yourself. The community is supportive, and really a lot of fun as well. I am 62, and have some physical issues that come with aging, and the coaches work with me every step of the way. I'm stronger now than I was in my 40's! Love this place!

410 Fitness is an amazing locally owned gym in the Hampden/Woodberry area.
I recently did a 1 on 1 training session with the owner, Andrea, in order to work on my form for lifting. I found her guidance and feedback to be incredibly helpful, as I left feeling more confident in my abilities to strength train both safely and effectively.
I'm a larger bodied person who does not always feel most comfortable in a gym...but I found that the environment and people at 410 Fitness were kind, empathetic and supportive, without being patronizing. The owner and team of trainers are aligned with inclusive practices that make their space and workouts friendly for people of all sizes and abilities.
In addition to an open gym space, strength & conditioning classes, and mobility classes, 410 Fitness also offers prenatal / postpartum fitness classes... which i am looking forward to with some expecting friends.
410 offers a risk-free trial so you can get a sense of their community and offerings. They also have a different membership options, making it more accessible. I'll definitely be referring my friends and clients to this inclusive gym.

This was the perfect find in Baltimore! Recent residents of this historic city and 410 fits totally with its sense of community and amazing coaches!
I have several health pbs, yet I'm able to push through the workouts. It's a very safe and judgment free environment 🙏🏻👍can't wait to make my way back to it!
