"Life changing" is how I can best describe my experience with Activate Body. I was someone that suffered from gym-timination, but their small group focused structure was a comforting jump into my fitness journey. While I am no longer an Activate Member due to a move and location, the health journey they began with me stays with me today, from eating healthier to focusing firmly on my form. If you're looking for a more personalized gym experience with a very supporting (and fun) training staff, look no further than Activate.

I can't say enough good things about ActivateBody! All of the trainers are friendly, supportive, knowledgeable and fun to be around. Leadership is professional and responsive and the facility is great. Most importantly, however, the workouts are scientifically crafted, 45-minutes long, leave me feeling energized instead of exhausted, AND still get results. I've come here three times a week for a full year now and have lost over 20lbs, increased strength, and created muscle definition I never thought possible.

I have used Activate Body's services since 2010 and can say there isn't a better fitness value available in the Baltimore area. The staff at this location (like the Clipper Mill location) are friendly, knowledgeable, and committed to helping you reach your fitness and nutrition goals. Personally, I love the small group classes, class time offerings, and the community feel. I seriously suggest trying this place!

If you are looking for a personalized fitness experience, Activate Body is for you. I love the small group setting where we all interact and work out together, yet the workout is adjusted to match each individual’s pace and fitness level. These people are monsters. Burpees are a war crime.

Honestly, I joined Activate because I was tired of going to the gym and being on the eliptical and then messing around with some machines and leaving. You do pay for it, but you get in and out in 45 minutes. Norm and Ben are terrific and I like the people I am in class with.

Kind of scary what prices are for generic "personal training". Unsure if anyone there has your more sought after certifications and training...I'd more likely put that on management. The whole vibe here felt commercial and big box, but packaged in a faux local shell. Head to Reddit to learn, ask friends or peers, leverage YouTube or Google, and find a local gym membership. 1-2 months for the prices of 1-2 rudimentary, rushed-feeling classes.

Manager is an awful communicator. Prices are high for the 45 minutes you get. Coaches / trainers seemed rushed: friendly, but rushed. If you are able to motivate yourself, then find YouTube videos or similar and you can learn way more.
