Great Facility, clean and welcoming. We are in the 2yr class and the coaches are phenomenal and very kind and friendly and especially helpful with the little toddlers. We will continue our third session this fall 2025. My granddaughter loves coming and really enjoys herself!

My wife and I have been bringing our nephew to BC Gymnastics for about 5 years now and have always been amazed at the level of attentiveness and patience displayed by the entire staff! The instructors and coaches have always placed a strong commitment to teaching him new skills with an appropriate dose of interest and challenge. Learning new skills has helped him develop a strong sense of accomplishment, developing his self-esteem and confidence. He eagerly looks forward to seeing his coach and progressing through the creative exercises she has planned for him. We couldn't be more pleased with the success he has achieved and the enjoyment BC Gymnastics has provided for him!

Very disappointed with this place, the instructors for the younger kids just let them run around an obstacle course not really teaching them . My daughter is currently in beginners tumbling, the instructors are usually young girls who do not pay the kids any mind. They are not really learning anything at all. Also who ever the older lady is who works in the office is rude, maybe even racist. My husband asked for a medal from our daughters last session because she missed her last class, he was just handed a medal with no greeting or any words at all. A white gentleman approached her she was friendly and full of conversation. I will not give this place another dime !!

I was initially hesitant to allow my daughter to return to BC Gymnastics because I felt she wasnโ€™t truly learning. It seemed like she was in an environment where the staff wasnโ€™t attentive, allowing the kids to go off track. After reviewing comments from other parents, I came across the insensitive response directed at Kim Harrison regarding how her child was being treated during a tough personal time. As a result, my daughter will NOT be returning. BC Gymnastics needs to do better.

BC Gymnastics is fantastic! The coaches are incredibly patient and encouraging, creating a fun and safe environment for kids to learn and grow. The gym offers a variety of classes for all skill levels, and our children look forward to every session. The facilities are clean, well-equipped, and designed with all age groups in mind. Highly recommend BC Gymnastics for any young aspiring gymnast!

I am a former competitive gymast for BC gymnastics, many years back. Once I had my daughter, i knew i wanted to enroll her in classes. She loved it from the start and we haven't missed a session in over 3 years! She has had many different coaches throughout the years, all of which were awesome with her and her teammates! I feel like the discipline is appropriate for their age group (5yo) and they make sure the kids are learning, having fun, but staying safe! I've never encountered any issues with staff or have seen anyone having an issue with staff. This gym is just as good as it was 20+ years ago!!! I highly recommend BC Gymnastics to everyone!!!

My daughter started in level 1 team, she was at times crying during practice and having difficulty staying on task because of a family emergency we were having. The staff was made aware and we asked for a little grace during this difficult time. The coach was nasty, called my child defiant and told me it had nothing to do with her mental health. I wasn't aware the coaches had child psych degrees. Fast forward a few months she's on a new team doing fantastic. My child, who never had an issue prior to this with any teacher, was treated like a problem while she was dealing with real life issues that no children should ever have to deal with. Stephanie from BC gymnastics gave a 6 year old a hard time while she was already having a hard time. I really hope no one ever treats your child the way you treated mine.

I donโ€™t leave reviews often, but I am beyond disappointed with how BC Gymnastics runs their sessions and figure someone might benefit from reading about my experience. We first tried BC towards the end of their Spring โ€˜24 season. My child joined their intermediate tumbling class, which has some tumbling requirements I made sure my child was able to successfully complete (this is important later). I was impressed with the first class. It was well organized and efficient. After that initial class, it went downhill quickly. Subsequent classes were basically babysitting with mats; a workout class for kids at the very most. I come from a dance/cheer background so Iโ€™m aware that conditioning is part of the learning process, but itโ€™s not the only important part. The classes were 60 minutes long. A large portion of that is warming up in the beginning, some portion is obviously explaining the โ€œstationsโ€ and then more than TEN MINUTES at the end of the classes they would play red light/green light. This left very little time for actual hands on learning of skills. I had emailed them about my experience and disappointment after the Spring session and was assured that every class should have been as well organized as the first class I saw. They offered me a small discount to return for the Summer session to give them another try. I agreed, and let me tell you, it didnโ€™t get any better. After a few classes and my daughter learning absolutely nothing, practicing/working on ZERO new skills, I inquired when they planned to start doing that. The instructor explained that my child was a little more advanced than the other kids in the class so they hadnโ€™t been able to work on new things. This was frustrating because I made sure my child had the requirements for the class. Other parents should do the same, but more so , the gym should make sure the kids in the class also have the prerequisites to be in that level. Otherwise, itโ€™s a waste of time for everyone. She then told me that they would start learning and working on new skills in the upcoming weeks. We did miss a couple weeks due to summer vacations, but upon our return, it wasnโ€™t much better. We even attended a make up class on another night and hardly any tumbling was done. They had them doing biceps curls and box pushes (like a sled push). Today was the final straw. If I can share the photos and videos on here of the instructors standing around talking to each other with their hands in their pockets, talking to other people while they should be teaching their class, or laying FACE DOWN on the mats DURING the class, I will. Thereโ€™s no hands on instruction. Thereโ€™s no spotting new skills. Your child will not learn anything new. You will 100% waste your money. Do yourself a favor and go to one of the other gyms in the area. We will be going back to Rebounders in Timonium (where we would have stayed if they had had an opening on a day/time that worked for our childโ€™s schedule). Thereโ€™s also other gyms like Vipers and MD Twisters that Iโ€™m positive youโ€™d have a better experience at.

The director was very informative, patient and helpful with registration and she allowed me to switch classes. I fell in love with the care, attention and concern that Kayla and Faith gave my kids. They were awesome with them and made sure that they were executing the techniques properly and safely. I can see a very long future with my kids attending this courses. They absolutely love it and I am very impressed with everything! I definitely recommend them!!!

We attend homeschool gymnastics here twice a week. My 6 year old daughter absolutely loves it! Through Covid they have been great at keeping everything sanitized and as safe as possible. That has helped put us at ease during this school year. It has been a great experience and addition to our homeschool curriculum.

There are way too many kids in the class. A lot of things that they do involve the kids taking turns and since there are many of them there is a lot of time wasted with them standing and waiting. Also, there is no direction. They tell the kids what to do and do nothing to correct them or guide them they are just trying to get through each kid. I truly wish there was a decent place in our area other than this one and if there is in your area go there. They charge way too much money and expect way too many fundraisers for the lack of guidance and time put in to your children.

I highly recommend BC Gymnastics. The coaches and staff are very friendly, caring, and great at what they do. We have had the pleasure with working with a lot of coaches through both her regular team practice but also all of the extra fun classes they offer, and my daughter has only ever left happy and smiling. Her coaches Paula, Glen, and Megan are absolutely amazing, my daughter has not only become a better gymnast, but she has also broken out of her shell (being shy) a lot more. Every class I am more and more impressed with the progress she is making. She loves her coaches and classes, as do I. I also have to say Bev in the office is also great to work with, she is always willing to help and is very friendly. BC Gymnastics makes you feel like you are a part of a family. We plan on being here for a very long time!!!!!

We had 4 kids in the family taking their classes. Corriuculum is slow often boring. Lots of standing around. There was one class that one of my kids really enjoyed because teacher made if fun and class was small so girls were always doing something. My main issues was an incident with the staff. First I have tried to call to resolve it but no one ever picks up the phone. Came in during the day with my daughter and explained the concern. The staff not only was not helpful but actually mocked my kid right in her face. My daughter was 6 at that time and have been attending for sometime the place. My foot never stepped there again. No one will mock my child and make her feel so uncomfortable, especially in the place that supposedly values their work with children.
Update. Our kids are attending Harford Gymnastics Club now and I have to say, nicer environment, pleasent customer - business interaction, more staff for classes and curriculum I would say better. They do ongoing evaluations of the skills throughout the session and focus on the progress. It works better with our girls and maintains their enthusiasm to continue and learn.
I also want to mention that I am a very easy going and understanding person and it takes a great deal for me to write a bad review.

I had very high hopes when I first registered my daughter here. I waited outside in the cold for almost 3 hours just to get a spot in the trampoline/tumbling class. My daughter has been going here for an hour and a half a week for almost a year and is still unable to do a basic cartwheel. The class is way over priced. The kids spend a majority of the time goofing around and talking to each other. The instructors spend very little time providing actual instruction. The trampoline portion of the class is the children bouncing on the trampoline any way they like them jumping into a foam pit. This is an over priced play time. I spent $5 for my daughter to spend an hour an a half with her cheer coach where she improved more in that one day than she did the entire time at Baltimore County Gymnastics. Save your time and money and go somewhere else.

The staff is verybnice, my 3 y.o. really enjoys the class, and so seem the entire group, and thatโ€™s the most important thing. However, I find the waiting area is lacking. There are no seats of anytype, no room to change for students, and that is very inconvenient. Some parents bring they own chairs.

If your not ready to pay the money to put your child on their competition team, your child will not learn a thing. Instructors can't even demonstrate what they are trying to reach or they just won't. Don't ask any questions because you will be humiliated, thrown out of the program and building (my children too 6 and 4), talked to like trash and degraded infront of an entire room full of parents, my children, and other children, accused of threatening the unprofessional director who I finally saw for the first time in over 5 years (lies, luckily my phone was on record because I had not turned it off from when my kids were getting a cheap medal because it was the end of the session. Should I say more. I had to go back with an officer just to be reimbursed for the next session. I asked 6/7 sessions in a row to speak with someone about evaluations and no one cared to call. Simple question: why does my daughter's evaluation one session say she can do a hand stand and the very next session it says she was no where close. Next session after she would get checked off on things and than right after that, she couldn't do it all again. After taking my money for a little over 5 years and than I added another child to the program at way over $100 a child each session(I think it's atleast 4 sessions per year), I think I could of been treated with a little more respect. Everyone who knew the director from where they moved from were not surprised how she treated me. Their exact words were "nasty" and they were "glad she relocated" . Did I take up for myself and yell back after she humiliated me, yes I did. But to kick 2 very young children out and tell them and me not to ever come back, is wrong. I finally did get my phone call 25 minutes later to even more of a mouth than in public. So like I said, I drove right back while I was still being screamed at on the phone and what a surprise, the big mouth director left that quick..not possible. She was still yelling at me on the phone when I pulled up. What a great experience..lol.
Harford is so much better. The kids actually learn and don't just stand around. Also have instructors that are capable to demonstrate a basic roll or will stand on a bar.

My son love this classes. Coaches work well. And it's interesting place for children.
Minuses: 1) Price grow up every semester. We paid $130 for autumn 2017, for winter 2018 paid $145 - for the same class.
2) If your child is sick, you lost your class and can not change it for another day. So, and you lost your money for your miss class. In this time, more another classes has an offer to change your miss class for another.
I would like to receive more respect for students.
I'm not sure, that we will continue.

The instructors are inexperienced.I watch the majority of the children play around during class & the instructors gossiping with eachother at the same time.Where's the discipline in any of that?! When I ask to talk to the instructor after class to address the issue, I'm given the head shake no & the pointer finger going back & forth portraying the word NO. For years I have had the same questions and concerns. I am told to "leave your name & number at the front desk & some one will call you back".Guess what,no one ever called me back & nothing was ever addressed.I have never been so embarrassed in my entire life.I asked permission from an instructor to take my son's picture with his medal while I stood in the doorway(not in the gym)& she said "sure you can". Well I got scolded for that by the coach of the competition team, which by the way is a waste of money & a joke. They just want your money, but it was very embarrassing how I was spoken to. One of the mother's heard how I was treated & over heard what my concerns have been for years now and she waived over the director. I waived back saying no I dont need you at the moment.10 min later, the director Amy came storming out of the double entrance doors & approached me about "my problem better be good since you are disrupting my class".Please keep in mind she had an entire room full of an audience. She tried to put me in my place. She screamed almost the entire time while her audience watched.I told her I didn't need her right than but I do need to discuss something with her. She continued to over power & speak over me.She repeated "leave a message at the desk &i will call you back" my response didn't change "I've done this for years and I have yet to get a call back so I doubt I'll get a call back this time too "she was getting louder & louder by the 2nd as her fingers &hands were waiving around in my face. She just wouldn't stop! She turned her back to me and kept screaming at me & screamingI finally lost my temper & told her to "screw her school & I will get reimbursed. "
I went to the front desk crying. The woman at the front desk, which is Amys best friend , asked me to wait to get reimbursed. To wait & see what happens after Amy calls me back because she knows how her friend is, how she overreacts, & that she can have a nasty attitude.Well Amy called me back &it only got worse.Barely got a word in.Told her my daughter had been complaining that she isn't learning a thing because the teachers joke around with eachother too much & she didnt want to go back until we spoke to her teachers.Coming from a 6 year old, that's a problem!I tried explaining my concerns with her & she told me she was "withdrawing my children from her school &I was not aloud on the premises again" "I don't like their curriculum, I don't like the instructors, I don't like the school"I have been going there since my daughter was 1 so 5 years is the first time I meet the owner & she treats me like this! She accused me of saying "I was going to punch her in the face " NEVER CAME OUT OF MY MOUTH. Also, that I was not aloud to pick up my money. That she would mail it..yeah, no!I picked it up alright while she hid but had no issues showing off with an a audience or on the phone. The check was short too!I don't want to go on & on quoting this lovely professional woman. You can watch the video for yourself. Also, there were 2/3 year olds in class with 4, 5, and 6 yr olds. How was that fair?!No wonder why most of the girls weren't learning a thing. She denied that, but pictures do not lie!Made up some excuse of how the parents didn't tell the truth on the registration forms.Shows how observant they are of their students.Well, the jokes on Amy.While I was taking pictures of my children together with their awards, I accidentally hit the record button. I Recorded her entire unprofessional rant! I am going to post for everyone to see the truth! She should be ashamed of herself the way she spoke around students and parents.i highly suggest picking a different school & I can recommend some. Btw, they gave me the wrong name.

The instruction my daughter learned while at BC Gymnastics was good. The teachers she was assigned to were wonderful. However, the office staff is mediocre at best. Most of the time they are rude and seem bothered to have to help but are very attentive and helpful to the Team parents. The team parents were not very nice either as if their child was better than yours. I do not feel they communicate information very well via your child or on the website. They just moved to a new location and offered a discount to enroll early and then raised the prices of the classes so they really didn't discount anything.

I love love love this establishment! I can always count on swift courteous responses from members of the coaching staff as well as office employees. They make registration very easy. I can see why so many friends recommend this place. The coaching staff is very well trained and in tune with each childs capabilities and the classes are just challenging enough to give these kids the confidence they need to want to be better everyday.
