I started weight training with Karen 4+ months ago to get in shape for a hiking trip, and I liked it so much that I've been going ever since. This is my first experience with a personal trainer and my first time consistently doing weight training. Karen is super fit (!), knowledgeable, flexible with busy schedules, and committed to helping her clients reach their goals. I also like that Karen advises me on nutrition too - an important component of overall health. She is helping to change how I feel and how I look. I highly recommend Karen!

Karen is a great trainer! I’m 60 and never really worked out but this has been the best decision ever. Karen takes the time to get to know and understand your needs, thus creating a workout just for you. I’ve been with her for 6 months and have lost 16 lbs. I am much stronger and have a lot more energy. All because of Karen, she’s the best!

Excellent trainer. Karen makes every workout fun and personal, and is never judgemental. She increases level of difficulty encouraging me to achieve my personal best and achieve my fitness goals. In the 7 months I have worked with Karen, I have noticalbly improved the appearance of my 60+ year old arms. Her studio is fully equipped and a pleasant environment. My results have been well worth the cost of each session, which is competitive, if not less than the hourly rates quoted to me by other trainers in the area.

Excellent! Karen knows her stuff! She is able to work around injuries and still achieve results! She is able to push you harder, but only the right amount. She focuses on correct form, provides a thorough all-over body strengthening and sets achievable goals that you can obtain. Karen is real and gets it.

Karen is a multifaceted, intuitive personal trainer. I felt comfortable with her from the first phone call. She is well trained and down to earth. Initially, since I was out of shape, the workouts were strenuous, but she was with me and encouraging me every step of the way. She knew when I was ready for the next step and also knew when I needed something different (body weight exercises, work with the ball, or work using the steps, etc). She gave excellent dietary recommendations throughout our sessions as well. In short order I was toning up and losing weight, and throughout the five years that I have worked with her, I have not looked back. I would recommend Karen to anyone searching for a real "personal" trainer.

I have been working out with Karen for about a year now. As a 61 year old I wanted to gain strength and improve my balance as well as improve my overall fitness. Karen's workouts are fun, varied and although challenging, they are always reasonable. I have always struggled to lose weight but with Karen's help, I have managed to lose 15 pounds and am still losing! This is one of the best decisions I have ever made! Karen is an excellent trainer and a "get-it done" cheerleader! I have learned so much working with her!

i am a 58 yr old female who was in reasonably good health more than 5 yrs ago. i wanted to lose some weight and firm up. i had worked out at other fitness centers and never got the results i wanted until i met karen! i've lost 25 lbs and have been able to keep it off! my family, friends and co-workers have noticed the change.
karen is so easy to talk to and work with. her workout programs are never the same which makes the workouts fresh and fun.
