This review is for the gym.
I would describe it as “good enough” if you don’t want to pay any money.
The good -
-It’s free for military, dependents, and retirees.
close to the comissary and PX so somewhat convienent.
Its clean and never crowded.
The bad -
The navy doesn’t invest in this place. All the equipment and machines are old. Yes they are in working order but lags far behind other military installations. They really need some new equipment.
No Wi-Fi or cell….greenbury point is a dead zone and the Wi-Fi at BSC is horrible. Never works so if you stream music or other stuff while you work out, don’t plan on it.
The vibe is lame….imagine a gym in tbe waiting room of a dental office. No music, dark, no mirrors. It’s a downer. It could be pretty cool…certainly has potential. A lot of wasted space.
The front desk people aren’t the friendliest people you will ever meet.
My advice - if you just need a place to workout every now and then and don't want to pay, this gym gets the job done. For anything else, it falls short.

This is a beautiful facility. The place is very clane and nice. The indoor tennis courts are very nice and well maintained. The golf court is beautiful. The staff is friendly and informative.

I need a good place to walk and to do low impact exercise. BSC has a beautiful facility with a courteous and professional staff. The building is a pleasure to visit. There are indoor tennis courts, an ice rink for hockey and for skating. There are cafe areas and locker/shower rooms. There is an aerobics studio where different programs are offered. There is a golf shop on the premises and repair service for skates. There is no pool at this section of the base. I doubt you would miss it. There's handicap parking and an elevator.

Great place. Navy runs a tight ship. Clean, beautiful venue to watch our son play tennis. The NEX is around the corner for food and they have snack machines om site. A bit chilly but that's part for the course when you're in an indoor tennis facility. Keeps the players from overheating. Always enjoy our time here.

Just finished ice skating the 11 am to 1 pm public skate session. It was nice to come out of the heat. Everyone was professional especially the ice rink guard Anna. Look forward to my next visit. Thank you everyone.

Skating Rink is the only amenity open to the public, they rent skates out at a reasonable price. Tennis courts and gym are open to US Military personnel and veterans only.

I use the gym here mostly. Good basic gym that's not too busy. It's clean and well-maintained. The staff is very responsive to input on the condition of the equipment. It's free, but it's not open to the general public. However, the ice rink and tennis courts are.
