I used to be a very active member here in 2023-24 and there used to be an amazing group of younger ladies that worked the front desk. Always welcomed you etc. Seems to be recently they have different people then I remember and I had to stand at the desk for 4 minutes until the desk ladies chose to finish their conversation and acknowledge me. If i’m paying out the butt fees for this place the LEAST they could do is have welcoming employees. Secondly- the bathrooms are not the cleanest. my husband mentioned numerous times how horrendous the men’s bathroom gets. Secondly- wifi never works and it’s always over crowded.
they have a good group of people who WORKOUT there but the staff and overall way the gym functions isn’t ideal. Everything is beyond over- priced. For no reason at all too!

The membership's too pricey, and the monthly fee's a bit much, probably because of the pool. It's a big place.

The hours just don't fit my schedule. It doesn't open early enough on weekdays for me.

You should try it for a month to see if it works for you.

I am really upset with the service. I like the gym but I really hate that every time I take my son there in the morning, they always mistreat him. The fact that we are not Americans does not mean that they always have to mistreat a 2-year-old child. It is crazy. I am really upset by the attitude they have with my son.

Fitness instructors are top notch! My favorite classes are Jonathon’s Barre, Carols Yoga, Jen’s spin, Christine’s fitness and Missy will exhaust you. I use upstair women’s only weights when not doing classes.

Always a great place to workout. The weight are adequate to get in a good workout. They have free weights as well as resistance machines, treadmills and many more. The sauna and steam rooms are a great bonus and the pool and hot tub are fantastic! And tanning is also available. I’ve been going here for years and am totally satisfied with the club.

Joining this health club was a delightful and deliberate familial experience, and one that produced a myriad of memorable moments to be shared and treasured.

Fitness classes are outstanding, as are the hot tub and pools. And the staff are all helpful, friendly and supportive.

Clean, lots of machines and options for working out. Even during busy times there's always something you can be doing. The women's area feels a little like the hand me down section. Just a little less than the main floor. That's why I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5. But at least there are options.

Love the staff and classes. I’ve tried classes with Mike R, Jim, and Christine and LOVED them all. There is something for everyone. Only complaints I have are the WiFi is horrible and some of the staff in kids club don’t do much to help settle or engage with your little one who is crying, just my experience. The best gym !

Just started a membership at this gym with my second visit today. I'm a bit disoriented in locating equipment but expect that to change over time. Front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. Such a nice facility! But the lifeguard was very rude to me at first. He made 3 or 4 comments that were very ignorant and it was my first time there. His front desk person put the “wrong” color bracelet on my son and he was implying that I lied to attain a more advanced color bracelet representing my sons swimming skill level. It was a negative first impression of the staff but because the pool is so awesome I will be back. I just hope they’re nicer next time.

I’ve been a member of the gym for many years now. It’s a great place to work out. They also have steam rooms, saunas, a nice jacuzzi and of course their big fancy swimming pool. My only wish is that they would have evening hours on the weekends. Maybe the owners would consider it at some point in the future.

I love the number of classes offered and the instructors. It’s great having a pool and sauna in the winter especially. I also love that’s there’s a women’s section since I personally feel intimated by the big muscle girls who mix into the heavy lifting part of the gym. It’s also cool that they have so many other services available, I just haven’t used any yet.

I love this gym because it keeps me entertained. It even has a pool where I swim sometimes. Carol is always so sweet and friendly when I come in to check in and I appreciate the customer service. They even have a smoothie cafe. Keep up the good work!

Joined after Island Athletic closed. Has been great experience. Friendly staff. Plenty of new-ish equipment, well maintained and kept clean. Clientele is a mix of age and serious workout level. Easy to fit in. Gets slightly crowded at peak times but no more than what I expect at most gyms.

I have been going to Club One a long time and I can't say enough good things about the facility and staff. Today they are celebrating over 20 years in business. That's a great gym, little pricey, but in my opinion it's worth the price and it helps you stay motivated. They have a lot of free classes with your membership, a lot of equipment, a pool, and other amenities that you don't see in any other gym.

Worst experience ever!!! The gym might be nice, have a pool and all but we most of the times forget about the service. When I joined gym and before i did it i asked multiple times if there was an early termination fee because I wouldn't be living in the area for that long, so after I went there and the person at the front desk told me that I would only need a 30 day notice for a cancellation I signed the papers. So long story short I wanted to either cancel or just have my membership be of one person not a family, apparently this gym operates like a cable company or phone company because all of the sudden I am on a 24 month agreement!!! The manager decides to "actually leave" early just when I'm on the phone, the manager is there from Monday to friday almost like a bank hours from 9 to 5 but conveniently enough to leave when there's a customer issue.
I would not recommend this gym to anyone, I tried to use the pool one day and some coach that was there send a couple of kids to jump in front of me and "practice" right where I was.
I've seen people walk in and not check in, other people come in with their friends and said oh don't worry about it nobody checks here.
Beyond mad, frustrated and irritated, customer service doesn't even exists here at this gym!

I bought a day pass for $15 to use the pool because the location was convenient. I got there about 17:45, and the lady at the front desk was great! She was incredible friendly and helpful. I was pretty much there to swim, but I did notice walking through, the facility looked clean, well taken care of and they have a lot of equipment.
I found the pool locker rooms and noticed the top lockers are tall! I'm tall for a female, almost 6ft, and I could barely reach the hook. The locker room was incredibly clean with nice individual showers, and offered a body wash/shampoo, which smelled really good, not cheap or industrial. However, the shower stales are pretty small and there is no place to put your bathing products. Also no hooks on the inside of the shower for your swim suit. Additionally, though in all honesty I didn't look around for it, but I did not see a suit spinner.
The pool is really nice. The water temperature was cool, but not freezing or overly warm. It was literally the perfect temperature for swimming. Another plus was the temperature in the pool area. Usually I'm freezing but it was very comfortable.
Only 2 lap lanes were available out of the potential 6 lanes. One lane was water aerobics and 3 for swim team. I had to share a lane with another swimmer. The lady in the neighboring lane, was kind enough to let me know when her lane came available. I got my own lane and was swimming for less than 10 minutes when a gentlemen stopped me and told me I had to move at 18:30. He said they needed that lane for swim team. I understand they need those lanes, but what about the people who pay to use the pool for their workout? I think 4 lanes is a little excessive.
When I was leaving, I went through the gym locker room, which is connected to the pool locker room and wow, that is really nice and clean! They even have a mouth wash dispenser! The showers were huge!

Overall I highly doubt I will go back. It's a very nice facility but not worth $15 especially if you can't even swim for an hour. If it was $5-$8 I would use in a pinch again.

I got waaaaay more than I paid for at club one. It appears that one of the male personal trainers has had an inappropriate relationship with my wife.

A second trainer recommended the use of asthma medication and Ephedra for weight loss to my wife. Yes, that's the ephedra that has been banned by all collegiate and professional sports for being deadly.

When I brought this to the clubs attention they appeared sorry but they keep this trainer employed there. I'd go anywhere else on earth before Club One.

Pretty decent gym. Large cardio area with enough treadmills and other equipment to deal with even the busiest times. Large weight area with tons of machines scattered around. 2 separate open rooms for classes. Small women's-only area upstairs with several pieces of cardio equipment, free weights and machines. Just opened a large pool area as well with roof that can open during warmer days!

Main complaints from me would be that classes usually fill the 2 open rooms during the week and floor space can be hard to come across during busier times. Monthly cost is also fairly pricey, but there really isn't another decent sized gym on the island so it comes with the territory!
