All the coaches do a great job but special recognition goes to Shannon Hannam. She filled with no prior notice during a semi-private session when the scheduled coach had an emergency. Shannon did a great job on the fly getting everyone moving and ensured we all had a great workout. Her positivity is contagious and I always leave her classes feeling like a champ.

If you are serious about seeing results then you should join Compel Fitness. The instructors are very nice and knowledgeable I love the flexibility of the times you can take classes several times a week in the mornings or evenings. The instructors will provide you with a meal plan and help you reach and maintain your goals. Within the first week the team has me locked in and motivated to workout again. Transferred from a different Golds location and was a bit nervous because I had never attended the Bowie location before. I met with Darrius for my initial appointment and he was very informative and friendly. He got me started right away with a tour of the facility and my new meal plan. I participated in my first team training and I can honestly say I am looking forward to my next one. The trainers are very helpful and encouraging and the vibe was good. 100% didnβt feel judged for not being able to execute some of the workouts perfectly and was offered modified versions. Would 10/10 recommend π

Compel is truly a great fitness program that challenges you and helps you reach your fitness goals. Trainers implement different exercises to ensure that your body is continuously being challenged. Even when I wanted to give up, my trainer Darius continued to encourage me to come and jump back in. I started with Compel about 4 months ago to tone up my body. As a former athlete Iβm used to my body looking a certain way and I had noticed things were not as βtightβ as before. 4 months later my waist is smaller, I have defined muscles in my legs, and arms and Iβm starting to see abs again. The trainers are great and really know what theyβre talking about and Iβve really enjoyed my experience so far (despite wanting to cry mid workout sometimes) Iβm loving the results Iβm seeing! Shoutout to compel and their trainers for whipping me back into shape!

I had my first training session with Eric today. He is knowledgeable, fun and brings the right combination of challenging but doable workouts with a twist. I started working with the amazing trainers at Compel Fitness at the end of May/early June 2018. Training with them has changed my life so positively in both tangible and intangible ways. I've lost 30 lbs of fats since June, and a ridiculous number of inches. My body composition is changing. I'm no longer shaped like Sponge Bob (yes), and I have curves (double yes!!). My family, friends, and colleagues have been commenting that I look like "I'm melting," "shrinking," etc., and have asked what I've been doing. Well, I've been doing once a week semi-private training sessions with Tara. She has gone above and beyond to push me to work harder each session. She is a great motivator, and I look forward to training with her each week. She also emphasizes how important proper nutrition is to help generate results. All of the trainers that I've worked with (e.g. Tara, Darius, Kara, Alice, Born) have been excellent, and I've worked with at least half of them in either team training or semi-private training. The workouts are doable, but not easy, but the trainers will work with you to make sure you are not overexerting yourself. I am so happy with my results and progress that I've signed up for additional sessions. If you eat right and show up every week, you will see results!

Great program! All the instructors work together and care about your personal goals. They tailor excercises to your capabilities. Very flexible for any schedule. Great if you're just starting out at the gym and don't know what to do, trying to learn a greater variety of excercises, wanting to improve your athleticism, or are trying to lose weight. Only two things; it's difficult to track improvement on any specific excercise since they keep changing the excercises each class, and they could improve their two Apps.

Iβve been with compel fitness since Feb 2018 and my experience have been great . The staff are very friendly and extremely knowledgeable on helping you make and reach your goals. Born and Darius are my favorite they motivate you and push you beyond your limits.

The semi personal sessions are good. I usually workout with Eric or Born. They push you hard and modify when needed. The staff is friendly and Darius makes it easy to work with my traveling work schedule. The only complaint I have is that training is more expensive than I like it to be.

So far Iβve had a good experience. I like how the workouts are short but intense. The workouts are definitely built for any and everyone to break a sweat, no matter your level of fitness. The workouts are great for muscle strength. Iβve seen results already even after just a few days. I would include more cardio, like running. But I would definitely recommended this for anyone trying to get fit. Especially because the prices are not crazy expensive. I also like how approachable the coaches are, everyone is really nice and I enjoy working out with others in the groups sessions.

I am really enjoying my membership with Compel. Itβs been highly motivating because they encourage me to identify specific goals early on and then provide me with the accountability and guidance to reach them. Daniel often checks in with me during my visits to the gym which is helpful because I can ask questions and get over my gym timidation :). I love the team training, itβs been really fun going through carefully thought out exercises, which are whipping us into shape. Joining with Compel is probably one of the best decisions Iβve made for myself this year.

My first team boot camp was hard work but very fun. My coach was encouraging me the whole time and everyone in the class was helpful and nice. It is a very positive environment with a wide variety of age groups. The exercises are challenging but it is very easy to adjust them to your skill level. Overall very worth wile class.

My experience has been phenomenal from my entrance to the PT area until my completion of training.
