Core Collective is a boutique fitness studio specializing in Barre, Pilates, and Personal Training.
Our classes are designed for every body. Experienced instructors offer modifications and options for each exercise, so you’ll get the workout that your unique body needs. With a variety of class styles and exercises to keep your mind and body continually adapting, you won’t get bored doing the same workout day after day. From fast-paced cardio circuits to restorative flows, group fitness to one-on-one private sessions, there’s something for everyone at Core Collective.

I attended my first class at Core Collective in 2018 and I have never stopped since! At the time I was searching for the right fitness routine that would work best for me and this was exactly what I needed. Elizabeth and all of her instructors are incredibly knowledgeable and encouraging. The space she has created is so beautiful and welcoming! All of the clients at Core Collective are ready to cheer each other on and welcome new faces. Now with over 600 Barre and Pilates classes under my belt I can honestly say I still love showing up each day! The classes always give me a great variety of movement and I always say it doesn’t get easier but I feel stronger! I would 100% recommend Core Collective Kent Island!

Walking into the studio for the first time was a pleasant experience for me as a newbie… I had only heard of Pilates and had never practiced at it.
The owner is extremely knowledgeable, personable, intuitive and professional.
The boutique feel of the studio adds to the experience, it’s not an overwhelming space where you feel like everyone will witness your“learning phase”.
I started out with private sessions in my Pilates journey however the owner and the energy of the studio quickly allowed me to join the group Pilates mat class with confidence.
I have experienced an absolute physical change in my core from Pilates. It is now part of my regular workout routine for a happy, healthy, functionally strong body.
Whatever your level of fitness or age…it’s a great way to improve your functional strength and improve your flexibility.

I have been a client here for almost 2 years and will never regret walking in to my first class at Barrevolution. I had been fighting with a back injury and found the classes to be exactly what I needed to strengthen my back and core. The instructors are amazing people who are always ensuring they provide quality classes. They are always encouraging, no matter your level. It feels like a welcoming family, that is always growing! I recommend this studio to all levels. With the mix of pilates and barre flow, you will always find the right class!

I have been taking classes for over a year. I have taken in studio, outdoor and virtual classes with most of the instructors and would recommend any of the classes. The studio is always clean and the instructors are very friendly, welcoming and willing to help to make sure you are getting the most out of a class and in the correct position so not to hurt yourself. The staff has been on top of things since the start of COVID with transitioning to virtual and outdoor classes. Virtual classes are still offered daily to accommodate everyone schedule. Barrevolution is taking the extra precautions to keep the studio virus free and all of the students and instructors safely distance and healthy.

I write this review as a current Barrevolution client who has been attending classes a little over a year. At first I was hesitant to start working out somewhere other than the typical “gym” but my body was telling me I needed something different. Heavy weights and pounding the pavement with long runs several times a week was straining my muscles and joints—doing more damage than good! Elizabeth, owner of Barrevolution, was very friendly and welcoming upon my arrival to my first class. I was hooked after the first class. I have taken classes with all of the instructors and have nothing bad to say. Elizabeth and her instructors are very knowledgeable of the barre style workout, client positioning/form and are super friendly. The studio has a positive atmosphere for clients to grow, both physically and mentally. Barrevolution has many different class offerings (in-studio and virtual) to accommodate schedules of all kinds. The classes continue to challenge me and keep me coming back for more. In regards to COVID, Elizabeth and her staff are doing an amazing job keeping everyone safe and healthy. She had virtual classes up and running in no time for clients to access workouts from home and continues to have virtual as an option. You’ll never regret becoming part of the Barrevolution family!

I did the virtual-Only Barre online class with Terri Prettyman. And unfortunately all I have is bad things to say about this instructor. She was very rude and very bossy. It doesn’t seem like she has a good grasp of what she is even teaching. And I’ve done other Barre classes which were decent. I’m just never going to be taking another class from Terri again. Merry Christmas 🎁

I just took my first Barre class EVER with Elizabeth at Barrevolution on Kent Island. I loved it! I’d been inactive for several months recuperating from a back injury, this class was my first time really getting moving again. The instructor and owner, Elizabeth, was so welcoming and wonderful in making me feel comfortable and safe throughout the workout. The studio is absolutely lovely, infused with great vibes!! Enjoyed my experience in every way and will definitely be making the Barre and Pilates a consistent part of my wellness routine!
