I just finished a reflexology session at Crofton Yoga. Several months ago I had a Reiki session. Both were amazing! I knew I would enjoy them but I did not realize how incredibly relaxing they are! I will definitely do both again. Soon!

I started coming to this studio at the beginning of the year after receiving a gift card from my best friends. It was part of my New Year’s resolution—and at the time, I was 5 months pregnant!

From the very first step into the studio, something shifted in me. The space, the energy, and the people instantly lifted my spirit and gave me a sense of purpose. I truly felt like I found what I had been looking for.

This place is so much more than just yoga practice—it’s healing, grounding, and full of heart. Kim is an amazing teacher and one of the kindest souls I’ve ever met. I’ve also had classes with Sandra and Aimee, and they’re all incredibly warm, talented, and supportive.

To anyone who wants to start yoga but feels scared, shy, or unsure where to begin—this is the place for you. Every body is welcome here. Just step in, and I promise you won’t regret it! 💛

Today I experienced a beautiful healing session on Self Care Saturday. After the class I taught this morning, I stayed to receive Reiki from Lisa, Acupuncture with Steve and a sound healing with bowls and bells with Kathy. I really needed this healing and I left feeling so relaxed and zen. Since I have been teaching here and coming to this studio it has been a very welcoming space. The owner Kim is always helpful and kind and the studio is incredibly organized and drama free. There are a wide variety of classes and you will find something for everyone here at Crofton Yoga. Whether you are a beginner or have an established yoga practice I highly recommend trying a class and/or a wellness session here. You won’t be disappointed!

"My wife and I had an amazing experience at Couple's Yoga on Valentine's Day at Crofton Yoga. It was the perfect date night activity! Steve and Kim guided the session beautifully, helping us learn new ways to connect and strengthen our relationship. We truly enjoyed the experience and would highly recommend it to other couples!

This is an amazing studio. I’m taking the Pranakriya 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training (YTT). Kim Murphy is an incredible teacher-knowledgeable, patient, compassionate and motivational. She also brings in her fellow Yoga Teachers to help assist and facilitate when we have to teach the different types of classes we are learning. And they, too, are helpful and kind. We are learning so much information (anatomy, history, poses, pranayama, meditation, teaching process) in this comprehensive (9 weekends / 9 month) YTT.
The studio itself is clean and inviting and brings me to a level of calm every time I walk in.

At Crofton Yoga there truly are classes for Every Body. Their values and beliefs are rooted in ancient yoga for today's lifestyle. The teachers are AMAZING! They also have private yoga, yoga therapy, Tai Chi and Acupuncture. It is a warm and wonderful place. Their owner, teachers, and students are friendly, non-judgmental, and down to earth.

This place is so awesome! Have been here about 2 years and have never had a bad class. No class is ever the same and all give a boost of what you need. I usually take Kim’s Thursday or Monday class and Aimee’s on Saturday. Times are convenient.
Sometimes I take a Sunday class.
I love this place! I am grateful.

If everything in you and your life is exactly as you wish it to be, don't come here. If something in you wishes to change, evolve, grow, heal, or simply feel more fully alive - this is a great place to do it through the transformative yoga practices led by exceptional instructors, who will actually *teach* you rather than just call out poses and assume you'll figure it out. If you've given up on yoga before, this is the perfect place to give it another try. If you've practiced yoga for a while, you may shift into a new gear under the guidance of teachers here.

The peaceful, nurturing environment sets it apart from typical yoga studios. The gentle music and calming atmosphere make it easy to focus and relax. It's the perfect antidote for someone who is overstimulated, rushing about their day, or healing from burnout. I appreciate that teachers here stay true to the wisdom of yoga and strike a balance keeping it fun and accessible, never becoming too heavy, spiritual, or militant about the practice.

There’s a wonderful variety of classes and workshops available throughout the year, so there's always something new to learn and look forward to!

I have practiced with dozens of teachers over the years and I selected the Pranakriya yoga teacher program hosted at Crofton Yoga because of the depth of knowledge and expertise of the trainer and studio owner, Kim Murphy, and because this method draws from ancient traditions, adapted for modern active living. This yoga is inherently trauma-informed, accessible, inclusive, and empowering for students of all ages and all abilities. Whether you’re new to yoga or deepening your practice, Crofton Yoga is a place where you can grow and truly connect with the essence of yoga.

I just completed the sacred stones & chants workshop at the studio, which confirmed why I have been going to this studio for over one and a half years . The staff/teachers and studio is very welcoming, which is topped off by that all teachers are very knowledgeable. Definitely a great place to begin or deepen your yoga practice.

Steve Smith is my TaiChi instructor. With his help my goal is to live to 100. I am 85 now. Steve has an extensive knowledge of martial arts and relates the TaiChi moves to the martial arts movements. I am too old now but I wish I had practiced one of the martial arts at an early age. I know several practicioners of karate, Mautai and TaiChi. The philosophy of the martial arts is respect for life and is the art of self defense. It teaches ways of disarming assailants and requires patience and restraint to disarm or defeat an assault. To defeat an assault I can learn to use another person's motion against them and defend myself. This defense only works if the other person makes an attempt to physically attack me. If I initiate an attack my victim may use my motion to defeat me. Thus, restraint and patience are rewarded by successfully warding off an attack. This is a powerful lesson in how to live life. It requires assessing an opponent's intent and may prevent a misunderstanding in a conflict, whether physical or verbal. This is a valuable tool to have in any conflict throughout life. I have seen kids as young as 5 in martial arts classes and wish I had been exposed to this learning experience at any age. I highly recommend TaiChi as a life enhancing practice of physical training to stay flexible and strong at all ages. And I highly recommend Steve Smith at Crofton Yoga as a gifted and professional teacher.

Crofton Yoga and Wellness Studio is a wonderful place to learn and explore. I love the yoga classes (online and in person), which are led by skilled and friendly teachers. Particularly important for me are the Tai Chi and Qi Gong sessions led by Steve Smith. Steve is an experienced, skilled, and patient teacher who approaches every class with enthusiasm and humor. If you're curious about Tai Chi, give it a try! Steve's thorough approach to the study of this practice has kept me coming to class week after week. I recently took Kimberly Murphy's Restoring Loving Kindness workshop and that was terrific, too. Crofton Yoga and Wellness is a welcoming and positive space, a true community.

Purchased yoga classes as a gift but didn't read that the pass was only good for 30 days from the date of purchase. I thought it was 30 days from the first visit. I emailed the Yoga studio for assistance. They replied stating informing me when I purchased the pass, when it expired and they stated that there weren't any extensions and I was told to"see the terms and conditions below."

I misinterpreted the fine print so that's my fault. That said, I would have hoped for some level of understanding instead of a terse read the fine print type of response. There are a better ways to treat people and I paid for a pass that I was never able to use.

Update
I actually did contact you shortly after purchasing the pass and didn’t hear back. I forgot and then reached out again. The tone in emails to me always seen to lack any type of kindness.

Summer camps for kids are fun! Instructors are amazing! Having been a part of Crofton Yoga community for a few years now, I feel truly cared for and supported in my wellness journey. Kim, the owner of the studio, takes special pride in flawlessly running her business. Not only she is a fantastic instructor but also a dedicated YTT program director. The class was so much fun. The decorations were great and the music was perfect. Kim is a marvelous teacher. She had us up and dancing with our glow bracelets and rings lighting the way. The evening ended with a relaxing Yoga nidra practice. Thank you for such a wonderful evening. Namaste

I love this studio. I'm new to yoga and was hooked after my first visit. The instructors are excellent; each works with you at your own pace. The owner, Kim, welcomes you each time you arrive, as well as other staff members. You feel so welcome each time you come. Physically I feel great and I always feel mentally and emotionally better when I leave. The studio is set up with all the necessary equipment you need. The minute you walk in, there is a calming feeling with the smell of scented oils, and yoga rooms are soothing with soft music playing. I am grateful I found this studio. Thank you! Linda

Found this place several months ago. I've tried all the other yoga options in this area (YogaWorks, LA fitness, one in a docs office, and another studio that closed) and this is by far the best. The instruction is professional, it's not just another type of workout- it incorporates the breath work and mindfulness, unlike other places. Love the variety of classes and that the class schedule fits my schedule.

I cannot say enough about how awesome the staff at Crofton Yoga is- especially Kim, the owner. I've rented space from Kim to teach a safety class over the last two years. Connecting with Kim was one of the best things that happened for me professionally! The space is always clean and prepared for use. Her communication is TOP NOTCH, and I literally do not have a single complain about working with her. I wish every business relationship was this easy! Kim is incredibly professional and consistent, and I have nothing but positive things to share about her and the facility.

Highly recommend Crofton Yoga! Prenatal yoga with Janet was incredibly helpful throughout my pregnancy, particularly in the third trimester, when I started to become stiffer and experience more pain. I was also able to use the breathing techniques we learned in class during labor! Can’t wait to take other classes here!

Crofton yoga does not disappoint! I attended their Self Care Saturday workshop that included reflexology, sound therapy and acupuncture. All of these self-care practices were new to me and it was by far one of the BEST workshops I'd ever been to. Kim, Kathleen and Steve were awesome! I just felt so relaxed and at peace after a 30-minute session with each of them. I highly recommend Crofton Yoga to anyone looking to decompress, relieve stress and feel like a better version of yourself.

Crofton Yoga is awesome! I just returned from a 2-week retreat in Egypt. Upon leaving for Egypt, I was in need of a lightweight yoga mat for travelling abroad -- and I needed it pretty fast. Yes, Amazon could've came through, but Crofton Yoga met the need just as well -- and fast! So while in Egypt, our group did Sunrise yoga at 6:30am on a rooftop overlooking the majestic Nile River with sunrays ushering in the morning. And I have Crofton Yoga to thank for coming through!! Crofton Yoga gives professional, friendly service -- they are great!

I LOVE this studio. I always look forward to going. The classes are amazing, the teachers are excellent, they are friendly and you feel right at home as soon as you go in.

Emily and Shelbi - you have given me new life. I went from an extremely athletic person, a dancer, runner, working out at the gym - to someone with Multiple Sclerosis unable to do much because of my symptoms.

I heard yoga is good for MS, but was reluctant. When I called they told me to come in and give it a try a few times. I am sold.

In these classes I am able to move my body and feel good again. I am already changing shape and losing weight. I am in better touch with my body, and through awareness of the placement of my feet, arms, legs - how to stand; my balance is improving.

I can't walk very far, but when I come in there it's like the old me.

I am more relaxed, more aware of my breathing and a greater sense of self.

I cannot praise this studio enough. It is for all levels and they work with each person to make sure you do as much as you can, but also make sure you don't hurt yourself.

Thank you for my new life!!!
