This is our second year, and overall, it's been a wonderful experience. We truly appreciate the coaches, the community, and my daughter especially loves her teammates. The only suggestion I’d have for improvement is to reconsider practicing during heat advisories. The gym is equipped with only fans, which can make it unbearably hot during those 90+ degree days, and it doesn’t feel very safe for the kids. Aside from that, everything has been fantastic!

Mixed feelings.

This gym has many good aspects of it such as its competitiveness, limited required gear items, and effort to maintain a professional environment. While this is true, no gym is perfect and there are also many downsides to choosing this gym. First, for a gym that puts an emphasis on perfecting skills before moving up a level, they make many exceptions. Athletes who have yet to master lower level skills seem to reach highest teams in the gym while athletes who make a clear effort to improve, take opportunities, and reach higher skills, get put on lower teams with little to no explanation. There is clear favoritism because as you watch some teams stunts fall with athletes not caring, coaches laugh and pay no mind, but when a newer athlete or less favorited athlete makes a similar mistake they are scolded and left with less leeway. This gym claims to offer a family feel and have zero tolerance for drama, but athletes are constantly left out and criticized by other athletes and coaches don’t seem to notice or put a stop to it. This gym seems to be better experience for athletes who have been with them for years in advance, if you’re looking for somewhere to start fresh consider this a 50/50 chance of being welcomed or not.

My daughter just finished a half year program at Divine and was excited to sign up for full year. She has felt so welcomed in this community and is looking forward to competing next season. I have seen her confidence grow so much in and out the gym and have this program to thank!

My daughter started her cheer career with Divine Athletics Cheer 's first season and continued for 4 more! We returned this season (season 7) and it has been the best season ever! My daughter's first even D2 Summit was amazing as her team was extremely competitive walking away with a zero deduction performance! Thank you Courtney for welcoming my girl back this season and creating an amazing program with a family feel here in Frederick! We can't wait to see what season 8 has in store and I am extremely proud of what you have built!💜🖤

We love Divine! The perfect balance of competitiveness and family. The gym is my daughter’s second home and her current and former teammates are her best friends. She has grown so much as an athlete since joining the Divine fam. She has really come out of her shell and gained so much confidence as a result of her coaches and the Divine staff. 💜

I'll be very honest and say I was not exactly looking forward to my daughter trying cheerleading. However, Divine Athletics Cheer has been amazing...for both of us! Courtney is always available to answer my questions and she (and the other coaches) is adored by my daughter! I've met some great moms as well. Our first half year season has been so awesome that we're doing full year next season!
