Daminique Dawes is a great gym academy. My kid joined recently in beginer bloom class. She love the sessions and is looking forward for it each week. Coaches are very helpful and knowledgeable and pay attention to every kid.

I can only speak to the summer camp and toddler classes, and I’m probably just one of the few who got shuffled around between team members during their system/portal transition. But, I thought this feedback was worth sharing as a caution to others. After months of waiting for a response on whether they’d honor their “flexible makeup policy” for summer camp use, we were finally promised we’d be able to apply makeup credits from the fall towards a summer camp week. Well, another team member then squashed that as you’re apparently only eligible when still enrolled in the monthly scheme. The only reason we unenrolled was due to class times not working for us, so we opted out and figured we’d continue at a later date. Once we realized they hadn’t registered my son at all for camp along with my daughter, they made room for him and were kind enough to switch him from gymnastics to ninja camp when he was the only boy the first day, so I appreciated the coaches’ efforts to include and advocate for him. It was clean, safe and fun for my kids, which is what matters most. They just don’t value customers who come on an ad hoc basis and that was made very clear with my whole crummy experience.

First time in a class setting at DDGNA, as we have only participated in open gym before. It was a great experience and my little one tried things they were not comfortable with in the ninja course and had a great time! Coaches were super helpful, and liked that they respected the kids when helping. I was also happy to see that classes were not over packed like other establishments we have tried before. Terrible office management. There isn’t a phone line, email is slow, making changes takes forever and constant follow-ups are required. They don’t pro-rate so if they close, you just have to eat that money. This adds up over the year. Scheduling make ups is painful.

My son started gymnastics when he was 4 here, first in just gymnastics now in a ninja/parkour and gymnastics class. The coaches have always been patient and thoughtful despite him being a lot to deal with. My son has learned a lot with balance and body control as well as increasing confidence. I would certainly recommend this center for young children (I can only speak about my experience observing the 4 - 6 year old classes).

The ninja class that my five-year-old attended was awesome. He gained so many skills and built so much strength in that class. Luc is an awesome teacher. Additionally the staff Dominique Dawes employs are great and so is the customer service. They are responsive and understanding. We look forward to continuing classes there! Of all the birthdays I've had for my daughter, the one I had at DD gym was the best! The ease of booking was great, the staff were AMAZING (from arrival to the end - not one complaint!) We love My Gym Kentlands! The space is clean and bright, with lots of wonderful teachers / instructors who are kind and helpful for the kiddos. Everyone is always smiling! My daughter celebrated her birthday party here. The service that was provided was beyond what we could have asked for from beginning, middle to end. The party went smoothly due to staff dedication; they were constantly checking if we needed anything, they helped unload from the car, set up decorations, served food and cleaned up the aftermath of the party. I cannot speak for the Ninja academy but only the gymnastics for my 9 year old daughter. I had a very good experience here and I waited a year before writing this review to give my honest feedback. The staff are super nice and you can see them through the window working with your child. The staff on the weekends are great. I don't take the weekday classes but the weekends for sure are top notch! Sometimes you will see Dominique Dawes family in the building and they are friendly and they speak. My daughter started in beginner blooms and now she is in intermediate. My daughter loves it! She does not want me to cancel.lol

The gym really needs a nurse on staff at Clarksburg, they are so full and today I witnessed 2 kids get injured. One went to the hospital by the mom and the other was crying holding her arm. There is no direction to take if an injury occurs.

I have been really disappointed with the rec gym. My girls are in a class together and spend almost the whole hour playing with each other. The classes are way too crowded and most (not all) teachers in the gym watch the kids loosely with minimal interaction. I feel like I am paying a lot of money for them to be in a free-play cool gym.

My daughter had her 4th birthday party here yesterday and it was a blast! The kids and parents all enjoyed themselves and there was so much to do that no kid was ever bored. The hour flew by and everyone wanted more time!

The staff were really incredible! They helped with set up and clean up and everything in between! Every time I needed anything a staff member was there to offer assistance and they did it with a smile on their face - even though I asked for a lot! The party was absolutely perfect! If anyone is looking for a party venue, I highly recommend this gym!

If your looking for structure and qualified training then don't come within 100 feet to this place. They take advantage of their consumers by branding it with a Legendary Gymnast. Awful experience, mostly teenagers run the place, high turnover can’t keep managers or help. Staff not equipped to train beyond a certain level the kids leave and go to other competing clubs. Issues with back office invoicing and communication. When staff turned over the progression stopped with our children and others. The club needs to find real gymnast that can help the kids grow.

My daughter has really enjoyed her time in the beginner blooms gymnastics classes. I cannot say enough good things about this school. The teachers are very attentive to each of the students, friendly and very good at correcting technique. Despite the number of kids that attend the school, each of the kids are addressed by name (love that). They even have a flexible make-up class policy. Gym is a positive place for children but management has made me not want to do business there anymore. I put a 30 day notice in put to be extra respectful and the gym disenrolled me not allowing me to use my prepaid month or absences I have acquired. Not worth the hassle dealing with this. The gym has not responded back which is a sign of poor management. I will use another gym in the future and let them steal my month dues. It just would have been nice to have a response, but this gym has no problem enrolling children. The gym is now overcrowded so I can see why management is showing poor customer service.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. From my first phone call, I was impressed. THE STAFF IS LOVELY. They are patient, professional and thorough. I have always gotten to speak to someone or received a timely email reply.

My daughters LOVE their classes (gymnastics and Ninja), and as a mom and teacher I love to watch them. They have already learned so much and I see a difference. AFTER JUST ONE SESSION, THEY ASKED TO COME MORE THAN ONCE A WEEK!!

You definitely get your MONEY'S WORTH here with their quality equipment and instructors, and the prices are more than reasonable. You can see the EFFORT and THOUGHT put into creating this gym. It is very well done and also REALLY CLEAN!! I truly appreciate what Dominique has done.

My son has ADHD and our experience there has been fantastic. He takes the ninja class and has absolutely loved it. We have struggled in other gymnastics and ninja classes with mostly attention and focus, but these classes are good balance of instruction and play. The kids are kept constantly moving and they keep around 4 courses going at once so there is not a ton of waiting in line. The Instructors explain and demonstate each course at the beginning of class and they change them out weekly so there is always something new. We also did a couple weeks of the camp and we also highly recommend.

My daughter is 6 years old, an only child, doing virtual learning, and very shy. I wanted an opportunity for her to get out and open up, what I got was so much more. First, Dominique herself is so involved, ensuring the quality that she promises is dilivered. Second, if you ever get the opportunity to work with coach Jeff, jump on it. He was able to get my daughter out of her shell on the first class. Her confidence has grown tremendously in such a brief time. Physically, she is much stronger and having the time of her life.

I sent multiple emails to have my son transferred to a different class as they had asked me to do. No one responded back to any of the emails and when I called, the manager D. Roberts was extremely unprofessional and lacks customer service skills. I requested her to just refund my May tuition and even for that she said she has to see and will email me (still hasn’t emailed back for others 3 emails).

I enrolled my daughter fall of 2020. Easy enrollment, fun teachers, clean & up to Covid-19 standards. My children have never complained about any of the instructors. I had an issue regarding the make up policy and billing Dominique Dawes took time out of her day to personally call me and address the issue. The phone call resulted in clarity and a solution. My 8 year old daughter loves this place! She goes in smiling and leaves the gym smiling. This gym lives above its name. They have live cameras so you can watch your kid at play from your smartphone. Our five-year old son participates in the ninja classes and loves them. As parents, we also love the gym because it is clean, masks are required (this was important to us), and above all it is parent and kid friendly and fun.

I could write a long list about everything that is right about the gym, but I would like to make special mention of the staff. Every one has been professional, nice, helpful, and it truly seems like they want to be there. My son is sad when we leave and asks every day how many days are left until the next class.

Love this gym! My 7 year older loves it here. My 3 year old will begin class soon, after watching her sister having a blast, she insisted on joining. Clean, safe, and everyone is friendly. We are very pleased! They also have birthday party options that we are considering! The kids have no problem with wearing masks during class. Plenty of water breaks are encouraged. As a former competitive gymnast and now mom of 2, I can truly appreciate how Domonique and her family put a lot of work and thought into the set up and guest area of these gyms. My daughter was so excited and also nervous but at the end of the class I asked how she liked it and she said she LOVED it and can not wait until next class. She is hoping she meets new friends during her classes and gets to take on new challenges. Her teacher took the time to help each individual at some point in the class, as well as working with all of them at times too. They also are keeping them sitting a little apart and sanitize everyone's hands when entering and checking everybody's temperature, which is good to know.
