Dan is fantastic! As a 62 year old active woman building strength, stamina, and balance is so important. Dan’s full body workout includes cardio, weights, balance, and stretching. He’s so mindful about meeting each person where they are. He challenges me with a lot of varied workouts which always includes balance and coordination. When I started I never realized how important that is especially when you get older. I’ve never felt better. Thanks Dan!!

I came to DTM-Fitness and Dan Hill with hip and lower back pain. I'd previously been to chiropractors, orthopedists and massage therapists and none provided any substantial relief. Dan has extensive knowledge in how the body functions and how to improve those functions. He designed a personalized stretching and strengthening program that produced results almost immediately. I believe a key aspect in working with Dan is the personalized one-on-one interaction. After five sessions at DTM-Fitness, I was able to continue the rehab process on my own with sustained great results. If you are looking for personalized help with any aspect of fitness, I highly recommend a visit to DTM-Fitness!

Stumbled on this spot looking for something stronger than many overpriced massage therapists in the area. If yoi are feeling the same, I HIGHLY recommend trying the rolfing / body tempering here. It might not be for everyone, but worth checking out if you were disappointed in other locations. Dan (and Michelle) were timely, professional and responsive to my feedback...now that I understand the pros and cons, I will be back in the future with better clarity on certain areas...if my time allows. Thanks for introducing me to tempering!

Dan's the best! I'm mid 60s, 5'9, 155# and healthy..never had a workout routine like his. Since Feb, one hour once a week in the gym, I have increased muscle mass in my legs over 10% and reduced body fat by just over 2% ! Feels good to know I am getting stronger coming up on 70. Thanks Dan!

I had my first aerial class today which was on my bucket list. It definitely won’t be my last. I wanted to do it with my sister but I did it scared and had a ball. Thank you!

Their social media made me feel comfortable. I was able to get a good workout in and mentally decompress. Dan was attentive and helpful. I will absolutely be going back again!

I trained with Dan once with a friend who is a regular at his gym. I have never had so much fun working out in years! I’m someone who loves variety, and Dan’s regime was able to address that very effectively! He is very contingent with his plan and adjusts it based on the trainee’s performance level. I left the gym feeling refreshed, exhausted and strong! I highly recommend DTM Fitness to everybody looking for a new start or change in their workout regime :)

I’d been looking for something that focuses on functional fitness for a long time before I found Dan’s DTM fitness. He effortlessly customizes routines to fit my goals (and tailors them when the goals change). My workouts feel so well balanced which I appreciate because I personally hate feeling dead after some workouts overdo it. I’ve been able to stick with it and as a dancer his balance training and mobility exercises have helped me improve in that area.

Dan really knows what he's doing. Extremely knowledgeable and professional. Coming back from an ankle injury, he knew exactly what would safely work for me. He comes up with very creative skills and he gives me the 1:1 attention when needed to learn them. I always get the most out of my workouts.
I'm adding to my original review.
Dan did a body tempering session with me. Body tempering uses heavy weights to assist with joint and soft tissue mobilization. I really needed this, as my ankle was getting stiff and normal joint mobilization wasn't working any more. After just one session, i felt some release and my ankle was moving better without pain. He also worked on all the other muscles that had become tight because I was compensating. My legs and back felt amazing. Really loosened me up. I highly recommend a session with him.

I was an airborne infantry medic for several years now serving as a paramedic for well over a decade. Daniel has helped me achieve and overcome severe arthritis and intractable spinal pain. Accompanied with severe PTSD. SO LONG AS I show up, the symptoms abate me. As he says, “Movement is Medicine.”

His skill in instruction through practical functional core, strength, endurance, balance focused exercises can really loosen you up. It’s combat PT tailored to you. Anyone can learn something, gain knowledge and introspection from any one of his many classes. He is a well of physical therapy knowledge and anatomy.

I was having a terrible time with a hard-to-heal hamstring injury and Dan spent some time with me teaching me how to do a fascia release, and working out my hamstring with this contraption! Just a few minutes and I noticed a huge difference! I've also taken his acro-yoga and aerial yoga classes... Highly recommend!

Dan is fantastic. He is able to illustrate movements and exercises that challenge the individual, in a safe comfortable way but still motivates you to test and push yourself. He also is super adept at explaining to “nubes” in a meaningful way how to perform the movements. Dan was able to walk me through a lot of strength-building and flexibility-increasing moves and had me feeling comfortable in doing them in short order.

I'm a swimming coach who works everyday and my shoulder has been getting tight on me. I scheduled a massage with Dan right after one of our training sessions and it was AMAZING ! He really helps with our gym work too... we talk about exercises to strengthen my SUPER hyper-mobile shoulders and how to stabilize properly to avoid injury. He worked the mobility right back into my shoulder and I was back in the pool the next day! Since I've met Dan I've learned how to safely work out and stretch without almost dislocating my shoulder . Couldn't be more thankful !

The facilities are state of the art, and at the same time incredibly warm and inviting. As impressive as the space is, it's the instructor that really sets this place a part. Dan provides individualized attention that assures a high quality and personalized experience, even in the group setting. He is extremely motivating, pushing you to your highest potential. Dan also creates a warm sense of community where people can come together and connect (often times around how exhausted we are after class). And relative to other similar experiences, classes here fell like a great bargain.
