I’m a member of another F45 and visited this location while on travel, so entirely possible I didn’t get the full picture, but found this one to be pretty lifeless. The 1 coach (at home we have 2 for every class) was disengaged, the other participants seemed disinterested and didn’t speak to each other, all told pretty chilly vibes. I hope I just caught an off day since the rest of my F45 experience is really positive and energizing.

Ending workout. Very solid customer service. The coaches were extremely nice and informative. As a former division one athlete, I have tried all different types of workouts and I had an amazing time at this class. I will continue to go back! These guys are great.

Great studio and Sean is an awesome coach! This was my first time at F45 Ellicott City. I love being able to visit different locations and still feel at home with the enthusiastic and knowledgeable coaches. Will be going back next time I’m in the area.

UPDATE: it’s 8/21. I requested a cancellation of my member ship 7/9. I was charged on 8/2 for my membership despite my cancellation request. I requested a refund and was told that they would correct it asap, but then when I followed up a week later, they said the manager was out. It’s now Thursday, and the manager is allegedly supposed to be back, and I have not heard back. I am requesting the information for corporate as this is absolutely ridiculous. I no longer live within a reasonable distance and it’s crazy that I am paying nearly $200/month still!

love F45, the workouts, and the coaches, especially Sean! They make working out as a busy person more exciting. I’m giving 3 stars due to the fact that I recently moved out of the area and emailed, messaged on social media, AND talked to someone in person to cancel my membership, and have not received a response from management confirming my membership is going to be canceled. I hope that communication and customer service can improve because this is a great gym.

Nice trainers and a good workout, but this place may not be long for this world; they have apparently dismissed their front desk staff. They are unable to repair their dryer and so have stopped providing towels.

TERRIBLE customer service. Decent workout if that's what you're looking for, but you can find that in a lot of places. Unfortunately, if you ever move or want to leave, good luck. Its impossible to get anyone to contact you. I've sent multiple emails and called/left voicemails and they refuse to get back to me. I have gone out of my way to stop by to talk to someone and no one can help me cancel my membership. Very poor management in my opinion. I'm going to have to cancel my card to get them to stop.

My experience with F45 Ellicott City has been nothing short of a nightmare. I signed up in December 2023 after being told by their representative that the gym would open by mid-December, and that I needed to act fast to secure a position as a foundation member. Well, the gym didn’t open until February 2024, which was my first indication that things were not as they seemed.

By June 2024, I realized that the membership wasn’t a good fit for me and reached out to cancel. I was instructed to do so via email, and that’s where the real problems began. I sent multiple follow-up emails, only to be met with slow, dismissive responses. Even after I was told my account would be terminated, I was still charged for the period of 8/2/2024 - 9/2/2024.

I have been asking for a refund for this period, and for confirmation that my membership is truly canceled, but I’ve been met with silence. I have called and no one answers. The customer service at F45 Ellicott City is completely unprofessional.

Save yourself the headache and avoid this place. There are plenty of other gyms that will treat you with the respect and professionalism you deserve.

I booked a weekday afternoon class at this location through Wellhub. I arrived 10 minutes early, and upon arrival, I was notified by the manager that there was no class offered at that time. The manager was of no help when I asked her to provide proof of cancellation to Wellhub so I could get a refund, and she would not allow me to take the same class later in the day even though I had already paid. Additionally, she was unable to change the schedule so future clients do not make the same mistake.
