I have been working out at F&W for multiple years now. The owner/coach is very knowledgeable about exercise science and fitness programs. The workouts are fun and will fit a wide range of levels. You have options for kickboxing, strength training, and yoga. You have multiple options for workout times from early in the morning, midday and evening classes 5-6 days a week. There are special classes on some Sundays and options to join outdoor activities like hiking off and on. I haven’t had a class there that I haven’t enjoyed. The members are close knit and accepting of all comers. Highly recommend checking this place out. If I could give higher than five stars I would for sure!

I've been in the Fire & Water Fitness community for 7 years. Brandon leads us in engaging, effective, entertaining and extremely fun workouts. Brandon has a gift in meeting you where you are with a unique blend of motivation and compassion. I hate going to the gym AND I love working out here. The kickboxing classes give me a space process my anger and rage. The strength classes give me space to feel how strong I am. The yoga classes are a space to be sweet to myself. I can not say enough amazing things about Fire and Water fitness! With kickboxing, strength and conditioning, and yoga classes there is truly something for everyone. Brandon is the most fun and motivating instructor I’ve ever worked with ! I started taking classes about 10 months ago - they helped me learn pretty quickly with fun and interesting workouts. The coaches are motivating and never take it personally when I give them the side eye! They take a lot of pride in their studio and make it warm and welcoming for everyone. People come to kickboxing for a lot of different reasons. It's important to me that weight loss is never centered and I can participate just as I am.

This place is excellent! Brandon and Evelyn (not sure of spelling) make you feel welcome in their clean and modern environment from the moment you walk in. They are attentive and work with you to focus on technique in a nonjudgmental way, so it’s perfect for beginners. The workout we did was varied and alternated between speed, force and accuracy, keeping it interesting, and the accompanying music was high energy to get you pumped up. I’m very impressed.

Great place to try out kick boxing! It was our first time kick boxing and the only class we could make was the Classic Kick. Our instructor, Jenna, was absolutely amazing! She took the time to show us the basics before starting and modified any advanced moves. It was a good workout and an even better stress releaver after work. If you have the chance to go here, please do!

I had an appointment for the first class/consultation. They sent me 8 messages with confirmation, insisting for me to show up because they don't have too many spots left. I went there just to be told their schedule rearrange and they cannot offer me the consultation. They were in between the classes, so no reason why they couldn't take me. I was was asked with a smile "is there anything else I can do for you?" Seriously? Nothing! This level of unprofessionalism says everything about your establishment.

Super clean and welcoming gym where you can build up your endurance and skills. It takes a bit of time to get in to the groove if you are new, but they'll spend a abit of time before your first class to get you going and there is absolutely no pressure to be perfect immediately.

I love KickHouse! I had done fitness kickboxing like 9 years ago and loved it, but moved away from one that was close and never found anything and recently moved back to Frederick and finally found a place!

All the instructors are kind, extremely knowledgeable, and helpful. They truly care about helping you meet your goals and dedicate their attention to you during class to ensure you have proper form and body mechanics to prevent injury while delivering effective strkes.

There are many class times available to suit most schedules. There are different class types. Even if you were to take the same class, no 2 classes are the same! You can book the classes on their app, which is very easy to use!

It is a very challenging and invigorating workout, not only physically, but also mentally.

I am not a morning person, but I love the 5:30am classes to get my day started on the right foot (hopefully I get accustomed to waking up this early). I look forward to getting onto their “wall of fame” for 100 classes done by the end of this year and hopefully unto the 300-class wall by the end of next year.

I love the way my muscles feel after every class... because I can actually feel them!! Such a great total body workout!!
If you're on the fence, hop down & grab some gloves!! They have classes ranging from 'fresh off the couch' to 'dude you leveled that heavy-bag'... and the trainers are very personable and motivating and encouraging!

I went during business hours to sign up for a class and was told I had to sign up online because no one in store was able to sign me up. So I go online. I go to sign up and it wouldn’t let me. So I email them and finally get a date and time. But when I showed up at this time (during their open business hours) it was locked. And no one was there. They have made trying to sign up and attend a class extremely difficult and frustrating. Not to mention the waste of gas.

I started as a six week challenge member and the staff has been so supportive throughout the challenge. The meal plan is tough but manageable. The classes are difficult but help you get stronger.
They constantly support you in class to get the techniques correct and help you to push yourself and achieve your goals.

I have been to 2 kick start classes and I am hooked. I have never been graceful, flexible, or coordinated (years ago, it took a full year of yoga to touch my toes) and I haven't been to a gym since 2019. The teachers have been instructive and supportive, and the classes are fun. I plan to keep going and hopefully a year from now I can do a push up. :)

I started attending KickHouse Frederick with my friend a few weeks ago. It's a great place to get a good work out in and the staff their is wonderful. This was my first time trying something like this and I can say that I was nervous but like I said the staff their is wonderful. They encourage you while you are going through the different movements and it's a really up beat environment to be around for the time that you are there. I can honestly say that I am having fun while I'm there ! If you haven't tried one of their classes yet , I highly recommend that you give it a try because I think you'll really enjoy it ! I do every time that I go .
