Every class I’ve been to here has been well-taught, accommodating, accepting, uniquely challenging, and extremely enjoyable. And the staff are incredibly kind.

Update: The CEO turned out to be an arrogant, rude woman who once made demeaning commententary about my mental status. I never came back after that, even after buying the equipment and a class card. It has been 3 years and it still stabs at me, so I’m posting now. I came as part of a wounded warrior project event and thought this was good rehabilitation but it doesn’t matter how good someone is if they are unkind.

3 yrs ago: This lady is super knowledgeable! Better than chiropractor or physical therapist. I drive 40 minutes with tolls because it’s worth it.

If you are like me and never ever thought you’d see yourself in a hammock in a studio trying something new, come to Flying Buddha. Sarah was my teacher for the aerial foundations course and I wasn’t expecting it to be as challenging as it was. I mean. Come on, it’s a hammock. I got my workout in a very low stress and affirming environment. I’ve been trying new things and Sarah’s techniques, patience, guidance and teachers Herat create a welcoming environment to stiff newbies like me.

I purchased the aerial yoga foundations workshop plus two additional classes as an anniversary present for me and my husband. Sarah was absolutely amazing as our instructor for foundations: she was informative, reassuring, meticulous, and joyful. I was nervous that I wouldn't be able to do some of the movements (I don't do yoga), but she explained everything so clearly that I was able to not only try each movement but also genuinely enjoy it. We can't wait to go back for our next classes!

I absolutely love this studio. The staff is welcoming and very knowledgeable of all the classes they offer. I took an Aerial yoga class and it was an excellent experience, relaxing but very effective muscle release. I will definitely be back!

I have really enjoyed several classes at Buddha- including the bungee class and aerial yoga. My favorite was the bungee class with all of the jumping and flying! All classes are fit for all levels of fitness. As an added bonus, the instructors are great too!

Aerial Arts/Hammock Review: I am a big girl and have wanted to pursue the aerial arts for a few years. I finally took the plunge and enrolled in the closest studio near me - Flying Buddha Studio.
I love how hands-on Sarah is. She's also the studio owner and teaches classes as well. I'm currently taking the 4-week Aerial Arts Foundation class. This is my 3rd session and my strength has improved. It's always a plus that Sarah is always ready to help and support while on the hammock.

I loved the aerial yoga fundamentals class. Im a big girl so I was worried at first. But the teacher was kind and patient. The class definitely a great experience. You get a great workout without even realizing you're working out. The equipment is legit you don't have to worry about will this support me. They were a very clean facility. I will definitely be back, as well as ALOT of my friends and peers ( I've literally told everyone ) 😄

I moved and this studio is down the street from my house. Not the most friendliest staff. Walked in a few times, obviously looking lost and two different instructors breezed by me. Keep in mind there classes were not in session. I had to approach someone to ask what I needed to do to check in for class. It’s clean and unique however. It’s the closest place for pole. So I’ll go to that class. Great pole instructor. But as a POC, it just isn’t my vibe and doesn’t feel very welcoming. Which isn’t very unusual for yoga spaces. Just disappointing.

If there were 6 stars offered, I would choose that. Even if Flying Yoga were offered in my condo bldg, I would still make the trip to Flying Buddha and Sarah's classes.

I have never tried aerial yoga before so I was pretty intimidated by the whole idea. I came to Flying Buddha Studio for my first aerial experience and I lovvvvvved it! Sarah was so kind and patient plus she gave helpful and thorough instruction. I had purchased the 3 for $30 special for intro students which is such a great deal and I can't wait to come back for my next session. I cannot say better things about this space and how beautiful and peaceful it is! If you are looking for an aerial studio look no further!

I had a great aerial yoga experience at Flying Buddha! I had only done aerial yoga once or twice before, but I think the class would be welcoming and benefit anyone at any experience level.

I had a lot of fun in the aerial class! You get the opening and strengthening that you get from yoga and the fun of feeling like you're in cirque du soleil. Sarah is very kind and patient and didn't make me feel like I was going to fall behind.
