Great place to go swimming! The jets in the warm pool are a great addition. The locker rooms and bathroom stalls are clean but kinda had that stinky mop water odor. Staff were very polite at the front desk and in the pool area. I look forward to returning!

Just used pool while vacationing on a rainy day. FABULOUS! There is also a smaller, shallower pool next to the large pool (seen on the left of 2nd pic) you see here. It has 2 parts, the one actually being a jacuzzi. They said they put the jets on when requested. So, we did, and it was awesome for a vacationing weary, tired back, and feet. People there couldn't have been nicer. The life guard went and found eye goggles for my granddaughter.

My grandkids loved this place. Two pools, one heated, which also had a hot tub and one not heated. The unheated pool had three lanes roped off for swimming laps and additional area for other swimmers. Several lifeguards are on duty at all times. Great place for kids and adults!

I started taking aquatic classes there in January to help recover from a hip replacement. It is a wonderful class, excellent pool area, excellent instructor, friendly staff, and affordable. I am very appreciative of this program.

The warm pool is very nice at about 90 deg F. Good for kids. They have arm floaties to use while here. No hot tub here. There’s a larger lap pool as well.

My 10 year old and I went to the CARC because the home we rented for our week vacation included access to it. We enjoyed it very much. The large jetted area was nice for me, and my son moved around quite a bit and really had a nice time. The locker room was clean and comfortable. I'm very glad we went.

The CARC is an amazing establishment. I have a son who is special needs and is obsessed with water. This facility was very accommodating to him. They have a smaller wading pool for little ones, which opens into a larger, deeper pool and they also have a lap pool.

They don't strictly enforce the mask policy endangering the lives of others. The CDC put out an order yesterday that said all must wear a mask whether they are doing high intensity workouts or not. Every time I go in to use the treadmill there are people not wearing masks in the room wear it says you must wear one. Only when the staff is asked to enforce the rule will they do it. But when they walk away, the people remove their masks. They don't check to make sure masks are worn. They only follow the minimum requirement put out by the state of Maryland. This has gone on for months.

We rented a beautiful home down here in Deep Creek. We were there the week of Christmas. The home we stayed at, provided us with a pass to go to this Community Center. It was great. It was like a upscale YMCA. Very clean and lots to do. They have a fitness center, Olympic sized pool (which also had a spa inside of it) locker room etc. It was very clean and the staff was great. There are vending machines that offer lots of snacks and beverages. We had 6 kids under 7 so the pool was a great getaway in the winter. We will definitely be returning there this summer and can't wait to come to the Community center again. Great place. Warm staff. Ample parking.

This place is a tad overpriced but it is the best option for vacationers in the area. There are a couple treadmills, and a couple elliptical and a bunch of weight machines. The workout area is small and feels cramped when it is busy. It does the job but isn't the most comfortable gym.
