I have been going here since 2018. Once the old management staff sold the gym to GoodNews Fitness It has only gone up from here. There has been a ton of love put into the gym and more stuff is to come. The staff is very friendly and extremely helpful and the owner is one of the nicest guys you would ever meet. I absolutely love it here, its like one big family. Please don't hesitate to visit, you won't regret it.

This is a great gym and perfect for those who aren’t comfortable with working out in larger gyms! The owner, Gabe is very personable, respectful, and has positive energy that radiates literally throughout the whole gym. I can definitely say the gym gives family vibes lol. The gym has went through LOTS of renovations recently, with new equipment and an updated interior!!! So the inside looks great and former members no longer need to worry about outdated machines.

Beware. I never agreed to a contract with GNF, but they charge me monthly despite repetitive complaints. This has gone on since August. They will place blame on ASF. However, if you never had a contract with them, there is nothing for ASF to do. Yet, GNF holds no responsibility or retribution or a notion of financial reimbursement. So, beware of their paper and pencil name recording, system glitches, etc. and read your contract (if they give you one).

Gabe (owner) and Isaiah (trainer) greeted me when I first walked in. I have been looking for a smaller, community-based gym with a large assortment of equipment, and I also value cleanliness. Good News Fitness checked all the boxes! I am a bodybuilder and prefer my own workout routines but they offer functional fitness, personal training, and boxing classes! They care about your whole health as a patron and client. Isaiah greeted everyone who walked in the door by name (super impressive). The introductory specials and memberships are extremely affordable and reasonable and I can’t wait to call this gym home.

The gym itself is not clean… at all. You can see all the dust and dirt around the equipment. Restrooms are not clean; sinks and toilets are filthy and it smells like urine. Whenever you inform staff, they know but no one does anything about it. Good luck trying to contact the owner. They seem to only care about their Bowie location. When equipment is broken, it takes months to get fixed or for a used replacement to come in. It’s unfortunate as the place has potential but like the landlord and owner, no one cares. I would say the only good thing about the gym are the trainers and front desk staff. Always professional and personable.

This is a very unkempt gym. Some equipment is inoperable and looks as if it has been cleaned. There is hardly ever staff at the front desk and the bathrooms are dirty. The sister location in bowie is 100 times better and I'm baffled as to why the upkeep doesn't mimic Bowie's location. I hate coming here, disgusting.

Recently was scammed and I can’t even call it a complete scam because I caught the guy in a lie he tried to tell me my guest had to pay him 10$ even after I explained to him I pay for a guest in my membership went through the hassle of putting my card in the system which I could’ve done myself but he insisted on doing it. Moral to the story don’t trust the over night staff member at the upper Marlboro location.

Love this gym its close to work so I don't have to travel far to get a workout in, the staff is super friendly and helpful. Personal Trainers are awesome to work with just a great gym.
I never had any problems at this gym and I also recommend this gym for people who want to workout, lose weight or whatever your goals are for a healthier body.

I moved fall of 2017 and spoke with someone in person at the gym about canceling the membership. I thought that was taken care of and didn't receive a bank draft after that. Summer of 2018 I get a call from a collection agency wanting $143. for the gym membership. I had no voicemails, texts, or letters up until a call from a collection agency about an outstanding gym membership. If I had been contacted in the weeks or months after thinking it was canceled, it would have been taken care of at that time. To make situation worse, I called the gym. Manager tried lecturing me about taking responsibility for not canceling it and that billing company they use tried contacting me multiple times. Find a better gym and do not do business with them.

I love this gym, nice trainers and awesome location. My memebership is $19 which is great, I can visit their other locations that offer classes. If you want $100 amenities go to a $100 a month gym 😂. Who needs a sign out front? Ik where Im going 😂.

Perhaps the worst "fitness center" I have ever been in. No signage out front for at least 6 months. Equipment that is faulty, area is too small, no classes, but what the heck do you expect for $23 a month. Requested cancellation of membership because I just can't stand going to that location, or any of the other "fitness centers" they have. Don't waste your time or money. If I could give it a minus I could, and I can't give it zero stars or it won't let me post. Staff is great, so there is that.
