I am 74 years old this year. I started working out with Rob a little over a year ago. In April I had my hip replaced. Before my surgery Rob was cognizant of my limitations and worked on my lower body strength as well as we could and also developed my upper body strength. After my surgery he continued to push me and I am now on the best shape I have been in years. We continue to focus on my upper body strength and flexibility. Rob recently opened his own studio in his home. It is a warm and inviting place and I look forward to my bi-weekly work outs. Rob is very personable and a joy to spend time with. I had been diagnosed with Rhematoid Arthritus in 2017 . Because of my health issues I was limited physically on what I was able to do AND motivated to do. So in August of 2019 I started working with Robert . I had two surgeries on my right foot, carpul tunnel surgery on both arms and ulnar neuropathy surgery. At that time I started wih Robert I was non-weight bearing on my right foot because of surgery. Mentally and physically I needed to start e working out and a personal trainer was the best decision I could have made. I was encouraged to push myself, mentally and physically but he made sure I was not discouraged by my physical limitations. I work out 3-4 times a week now with Robert. He focuses on different parts of my body that he feels I need to continue to get stronger. He also works on my flexiblity which is very important to improve because of my RA. My mental attitude towards physical activiteis has changed. I now look forward to pushing myself. I have more energy than I have had in a few years. I am stronger and now capable of doing physical activities I thought I would not ever be able to do again. Robert is patient, funny, caring and most of all very knowlegeable. Rob is an outstanding Corporate Personal Trainer! I am the president of a Lighting company in Linthicum and one of my employees mentioned hiring a Personal Trainer for the employees. Since investing a chunk of change into a gym for the employees and only a handful of people were utilizing it, I figured we would give it a shot and see how it goes. We initially had about 10 people who were interested. I thought the employees would lose interest after a few weeks or months but quite the opposite happened. If you would have told me a year ago that I would LOVE lifting weights and taking care of my health I would have told you you were crazy but Rob has made the whole process so enjoyable!

The hybrid exercise program has been amazing - being able to have in person sessions along with customized workouts to do on my own really works well for me. At home workouts are in an easy to use app and he provides feedback on form when I need it.

Rob has also collaborated with my physical therapist to tailor my program to help me get stronger while keeping me safe from injury and modifying exercises to meet my individual needs. The significant decrease in my pain and increase in my mobility is a testament to the program he has created for me and all the support he provides.

Rob has provided valuable guidance to help me focus on improving my nutrition as well without making it complicated or overwhelming which has helped me to start actually achieving my goals. I'm successfully losing weight and keeping it off for the first time in my life. No crazy diet plans or restrictions or short term "quick" fixes - just simple goals and a little extra support on the tough days. It been amazing and I'm feeling so much better in my body as a result!

I am a mom of two and started working with Rob when I was 5 months postpartum. I do virtual online training with Rob. He creates a plan through an app. I complete the workouts on my own and he gives feedback, communicates, and gives me nutrition goals and advice.

This program has been ideal as a busy working mom of 2 boys under 3. Rob has given me confidence and grace, while pushing me and teaching me. He has shown me what a calorie deficit means, taught me why protein is so important, given feedback and modifications on certain exercises, and has shown me how to build muscle. All of this has given me a healthy mentality postpartum and +made me feel confident and strong.

After giving birth, I definitely didn’t feel comfortable in my own skin. I finally decided to treat myself to private sessions to get back in shape and it was the best postpartum gift I could have given to myself. I’m feeling stronger, leaner, and more confident. As a middle-aged man brand new to weightlifting, I knew I needed to start slow and gain a knowledge base first. That's Rob strategy for all of his coaching. The smarter you are about what you're doing, you can take that knowledge for the rest of your life. He's a teacher / coach for sure. For example, he was able to see I was overthinking my strength form, and the way I was lifting the weights. He was able to break the moves down for me in the most practical sense, and after only four in-person sessions and a few solo trips to the gym using his personalized workout, I ALREADY look and feel better. Not only is Rob coaching me on how to get the body I want, but he's also stressing the importance of balance in my body and mind. My favorite instance was when one of the first things he asked me was, "How's your sleeping?" And, like most of us out there, not much. But Rob was very adamant about the need for rest of all kinds with his program. So, he gave me advice on sleeping better and stressed the science of the benefits of resting between heavy workout sets. He even gave recommendations on the supplements needed for my particular look I was going for. (they do not break the bank) He gave me easy, practical math when counting calories and macro nutrition. I personally am going for lean muscle, swimmer look. And he knew exactly what I was talking about and introduced me to the routines that would train those muscles hard. Rob is easily the best trainer I've ever had. He starts off by getting a full description of your needs, capabilities, and expectations, and then he designs your sessions around those factors. He's very attentive to your physical health and regularly checks in regarding recent injuries (like a pulled muscle) or known problem areas (like bad knees).
The sessions are difficult but not impossible. Rob regularly asks about how the exercises feel and encourages pushing your limits little by little. He's also fun and engaging and spends the session chatting and making jokes. The overall environment is extremely welcoming and comfortable.

Rob is great! He really uses the time you have with him effectively, I've never felt like I was doing anything that didn't have a purpose. I have a few limitations that can make certain activities difficult or impossible to do, Rob has always made accommodations to those or done similar exercises in such a way that I am working the same muscles/getting the same benefits. He is also always mindful of what my body is able to do, and is always asking if what I'm doing feels ok, and if I'm feeling stable.

Rob = Results. The personal training I received from Robert Habib was fantastic. He is very knowledgeable about body movements and proper techniques. I struggle with blood sugar management and can be affected by cardio. Rob tailored a workout that played to my strengths and made it work. One thing that really stood out to me was during each exercise, Rob would communicate about which muscles I should be feeling in that movement, and if something felt off, we would stop and readjust. This taught me a lot about the use of good form, and increased the results because we were targeting the right muscle groups.

Rob helped a lot, he’s taught me a lot about nutrition and got me on the right track. He has also helped with my form and technique for my squat and deadlift. On top of all this he has made a great training plan that fits me and has allowed me to make great progress over the past few months.
