Soccer Coach: I L-O-V-E this place, straight shot 30 minutes from Frederick. Indoor fields are superb, facility is amazing. The cost of bringing a team here for league play is lower than other facilities (e.g soccerplex). Staff were very friendly, Refs were super pleasant....soccer parents are however just as awful as everywhere else :). The best part is that the league administrator (Logann Braun) is helpful and efficient, rescheduling games is low-stress. I'd love it if they had a youth pick-up or a pool for guest players or a house team for league play but that might be an option when they get a little busier. Most of the negative comments here are from Hagerstowns finest "wine-o-clock" moms, trust me it's awesome.

Awesome place for sports events. Very spacious and comfortable to be at. Loved the balcony to watch the games without all the yelling excited parents next to me. 😃

Love the turf fields, but there is one thing that is honestly not very "comfortable" about it. The turf is kind of thick and soft kind of feeling. Slipped on it several times even in cleats. But it was fun socializing with other fellow players! Had a great time and was able to be involved in playing matches with them. Overall 4/5 stars!

The concept of having a field house in our town is a great idea, but like many things around here, it's extremely disorganized. Coaches don’t show up to work and seem to lack any sense of responsibility. We enrolled in a trial volleyball class which was covered by another employee, not the original coach, unaware that the assigned coach would never show up, we signed up. Second class rolled around, the coach didn’t show up again, and another employee had to step in. By the third class, we received a phone call informing us that it was canceled entirely because the coach wasn’t coming.
The only positive experience was that they issued a refund for the remaining classes after I requested it but we won’t be returning.

Athetic facility with concessions. Brand new and really nice! My husband went to a sports card show there and spent 6 hours there. There was a lot of parking but over 800 people showed up for the event, so they brought in buses.

Last month we reserved a field to play soccer but the experience wasn’t good.

We definitely had better experience the first time in their opening week in February.

Unfortunately last month when we returned we were not met with the same welcome by the management staff. They were not able to answer my concerns that I had about the reservation and referred me to just speak to general manager, but wasn’t available.

We paid for the rental, and kindly requested some soccer balls after. We waited for close to 10 min on the field to warm up, the managers on duty refused to provide any soccer balls and just came to tell me they can’t provide anything more than us being on field. Even after paying a $187 for the reservation, the manager on duty was adamant we were off the field exactly at the hour mark, even when there was no reservation on the field after us.

It was disappointing to not be offered basic courtesy as customers, no extra soccer balls or extra time for waiting for them.
Was very disappointing as we rented from them in the past and planning to rent from them for next 3 weekends.

Unfortunately I ended up canceling and haven’t returned. I hope they will improve things for others, as it is a nice facility to have in town and has a lot of potential to bring people together!

This place only seems cater to people who to sign up for classes or play in leagues. Open one of your four basketball courts for people who want to casually play. Everytime I've tried to go theres some class or league happening, absolutely ridiculous.

My 5 year old granddaughter was signed up for cheerleading classes, the first week nobody that worked there seemed to know anything about them, but eventually figured it out. The second week she goes and nobody knows anything again. Was then told they were not going to have the class. A 5 year old does not understand the stupidity of adults who can not communicate. Her parents should have been notified before bringing her, instead of bringing her only to break her heart, when the class was cancelled. They had no problem taking payment for the class, but couldn’t communicate that it was canceled. If I could give 0 stars I would. The management there can definitely not handle the job.

A great place to have a kids birthday party! We had my son's 8th birthday party today and all the kids had a blast playing flag football! Our party host, Ryan, was spectacular. Very helpful and accommodating. She also had someone there who was also very helpful, but unfortunately I didn't get his name. The only suggestion I have is to allow parents to either choose if they would like the decor, or if they will be supplying their own because Ryan and the helper had everything set up for us, and we had all our own tableware so I felt bad having to take it all down! It would have been reslly cool if we were able to drop off decor the day before for the hosts to decorate with. One other suggestion I would have, is a choice of what time you would like to have the turf. We added extra turf time, and I thought that would add to our party room time, but it did not. Luckily we didn't have to rush to fastly out of there. It would have been nice to be able to break up pur turf time 45 minutes before pizza comes out, and 45 minutes after pizza and cake. The kids were all wanting to play some more after the refueled. Again, this wasn't a big hassle for us, just a suggestion to make parties even better. Overall, a very fun and memorable party! Thanks again, Ryan, for all your help!

My toddler is enrolled in the Saturday morning Little Kickers class. While he enjoys it and the coaches have been great, I do feel that the program is somewhat overpriced for what it offers. Additionally, the reoccurring issue with limited parking and the lack of available seating has been frustrating. We definitely won’t be singing up for anymore programs here.

It's wild that the Sony Walkman came out 46 years ago, yet most gyms still blast music like we haven’t invented headphones. That’s why I love this place—no music, no distractions, just a quiet space to focus and train. Super refreshing.

The overall facility is nice. However, they are not well prepared for big events. We were here for a volleyball tournament this weekend. Parking was not pleasant at all. People were parking on sidewalks, grass, fire lanes...you name it they parked on in. They don't allow outside food, but the concession stand ran out of most of its menu.

Best gym in Hagerstown! As someone who has worked out at a cramped and dated chain gym since I moved here, I could not wait to sign up. The gym is upstairs away from the busy fields. Equipment was carefully chosen and there is plenty of it. If you want some privacy while you work out, there are smaller rooms with limited equipment. If you don’t want to watch TV while you are doing cardio, there is a couple of treadmills and an elliptical by the window. And I love that there isn’t a contract. Plus, the gym staff are so nice and courteous. What a great addition to Hagerstown 🙌🏼

I want to share my experience in the little kickers program as well. I have my 3 year old son signed up for the soccer program and the athletics class that just finished. We also took him to every single open house they had for soccer so he could gain more exposure. I will start off by saying we loved coach Tommie and coach Ashley, they were both patient and helpful towards the kids and seemed to understand the behaviors of toddlers. The other staff though were rude and lacked patience and expected toddlers to sit still for an hour and follow every direction to a T. The 2 staff I am talking about is a younger blonde girl, slightly tall. Unsure of her name and another female who was working with her. The blonde girl only payed attention to the kids who wouldn’t participate because they weren’t running around or anything but she treated my son differently because he has more energy and if he talked to her she wouldn’t respond or even look at him. We saw her again another day at open field and he wanted to use a basketball and she took it from him and said “there’s a birthday party you can’t play with that” even though there was no one there and I checked when the rental started. It’s extremely unprofessional and if you apply for a job working with toddlers maybe learn patience and empathy first. We spend a lot of money there each month in memberships on our family and if they are working with him during soccer I will pull him out and get a refund but we will see in a few days who he gets. Everything else I am happy with but I’ve read multiple reviews of the same thing and wanted to share our experience.

Parking lot is trash, built a whole sidewalk around the perimeter but can't use it because they didn't put parking curbs so cars pull all the way onto the sidewalk. What was once an amazing municipal lot where people brought their dogs, people hungout, played basketball in the free courts, is now an overpriced gym. The average Hagerstown citizen can't even afford to use a facility in their own town but that isn't who they want coming there anyway. Try signing up for a sport? No, overpriced and rude elitist who only want people who already know how to play. 👎👎👎

Although I typically refrain from writing reviews, I feel compelled to share my experience. On Wednesday, I attended a field house soccer session with my three-year-old child. Unfortunately, the staff exhibited a lack of patience and rudeness towards my child. It appeared that they favored certain children, displaying a greater level of understanding towards them. Consequently, I have decided to refrain from bringing my child back to this facility.

Sharing from my own experience as a mom who brought her 2 year old in to sign up for the youths soccer program I was very disappointed in how the staff talked and acted towards my son. As any 2 year old would be excited to run and play with other kids he couldn’t wait…. I was told by one of the staff members I needed to “control” my son because he wouldn’t sit on the white line like they had wanted him to even though other kids weren’t sitting there either as well, but only happened to mention that to me and my child. Another time he was running around and fell to the ground when that same staff member looked at my 2 year old and said “see that’s what you get, now that’s funny” ….. the other staff member when my son would try to go into the tunnel they had out she would continuously pick it up so my son couldn’t go through it…. As somebody who had high hopes, I was extremely disappointed personally, and upset that I had even brought my child there… needless to say no we did not end up signing up for the soccer program. Thank you.

Hagerstown Field house is a great addition to Hagerstown. Very impressive space.
I was disappointed to see the soccer turf bulging in spots, causing players to trip. This has been ongoing since the beginning of the indoor soccer season.
The scoreboards were also not working during yesterday’s game.
The games are scheduled too close together, the soccer teams do not get a proper warm up prior to their game.

Great addition for the people that love to play sports! Can’t wait to see what will come from this. My only complaint is the turf field for soccer is not the best at all. I highly suggest playing in turf shoes or making sure to strengthen ankles/knees before playing. Looks to be like indoor/outdoor carpet rather than turf which stinks because we had to pay almost 100 bucks to play in a league :/ hopefully this will get fixed! It would be a shame for more injuries to occur.

★ 5

Fantastic facility. My only suggestion, from someone who has been around these kind of facilities for 20 years as player/coach/ref, please make the soccer halves 25 minutes with a 2 minute half time. 20 minutes is not long enough, especially when it is a running clock, even when there is an injury and they change keepers on the field. If the referee is doing his job, he will get the teams in and out to stay on schedule. Thanks.

Top-notch facility. Awesome staff, lots of activities for the kids and residence of Hagerstown and surrounding area. Excited to see what this does for the community.. and they do have a kids center for parents that don’t have daycare options!

There are two turf fields, four basketball courts and up to eight volleyball courts . There is also a gym and food court and a future bar! Tons of parking and plenty of seating for the fans!
