I can not say enough good things about Jaime and the classes she offers at Harford Yoga! Returning to yoga after many years without practice, I felt right at home in her studio. The small, intimate class size allows you to focus on proper positioning and technique without the distractions of a huge class. Jaime is a thoughtful teacher, allowing each member of her class to grow and improve at their own pace while providing challenging, yet attainable yoga instruction. I would (and do) recommend Harford Yoga to anyone looking to begin and/or continue their yoga practice!

Ms. Jamie is absolutely wonderful! She is one of the most knowledgeable professionals I know in the area. I was having really bad issues with sciatica. Ms. Jamie gave me some pointers and I’ve felt so much better after proper movements.
Very kind, polite, and clearly knows her stuff. I’d recommend her to anyone who’s looking for a local professional 😁

Having recently moved to the area, I was worried I wouldn’t find a yoga teacher and studio that offered just the right balance of movement and mindfulness that I’d come to appreciate in other cities. But I did! I’m so thankful for Harford Yoga and Jamie’s classes. I always work up a sweat without feeling totally depleted, my strength and balance improve with every six-week session (I also love the organization into sessions, each with a specific focus), and I always leave feeling more grounded and peaceful. Jamie has created a truly judgment free, ‘show up as you are’ community. My first class was in Jan. 2023 and I haven’t missed a six-week session yet!

You can't go wrong taking classes at Harford Yoga. The studio is calming and peaceful. Our instructor Jamie makes sure each person is practicing a pose at the level that their body is comfortable with. Poses are broken down into their components and individual assistance is given when needed.

I am thrilled to recommend Harford Yoga and the exceptional instruction provided by Jamie. As a beginner with no prior yoga experience, I was a bit apprehensive at first, but the warm and positive atmosphere Jamie created made me feel right at home.
The small class sizes have allowed for personalized attention, which has been instrumental in building my confidence and passion for the practice. I appreciate how the classes are structured to enable participants to work at their own level, making it accessible for all.
Since my very first class, I have been amazed by the growth I have achieved, both physically and mentally. Harford Yoga has truly transformed my understanding and appreciation for the practice of yoga. I'm excited to continue my yoga journey under Jamie's guidance.

Almost 11 years ago a coworker invited me to a yoga class. Not being a "gym" person, I was nervous, thinking I was too old or not in shape. The class had women and men. A mix of ages and body types. Jamie was so welcoming! My nerves faded away.
This is the longest I've stuck with any program. Jamie runs her classes with a calm demeanor. She really makes sure students are practicing safely and will adjust your pose if needed. She makes a point to ask if there is anything students would like to work on. We work hard and we have fun!
Her studio is clean and safe. If you are looking to try something new, I highly recommend Harford Yoga and Jamie!

I started taking yoga in my early 50’s. There was a change in instructor/time which forced me to find a new place to continue my yoga journey. I met Jamie and need I say more than I am still working with her 9 (going on 10 years) later.
Jamie fosters an environment of acceptance. She has a calm demeanor and is very encouraging. There are students of all ages and she offers different level classes depending on where you are with our skill level.
I have recommended others to her class who have now become regulars. If you are looking for someone who knows what they are doing, has a great class atmosphere, is kind, look no further. Do yourself a favor and give Jamie and her class a try. You won’t regret it.

Friday mornings with Harford Yoga and Jamie is the highlight of my week. Walking into her studio is coming into a space of calm and movement at the same time. Jamie focuses on what the class needs to gain strength and mobility to go forward. Even the slightest change can make a huge impact. Her style of leading is slower, adding growth and making a connection. Small classes allow Jamie to encourage, motivate and praise while also making corrections to achieve the pose safely. With this well balanced practice I have gained positive changes to my mind and body, all thanks to Jamie and Harford Yoga.

Walking into Jamie's studio reminds me of Dorothy when she opens the door to Oz, going into a place so different from the one she was in. You leave the noise, driving frustrations, exhaust behind and enter into her studio. First thing you notice is that it's nicely lit, no bright lights, it's warm and inviting. Next is the aroma and calming music. It's a completely different atmosphere than on the other side of the door. With all that said, the setting would not be complete without Jamie, hands down the best yoga teacher I've ever had. Her class is the only one I'll go to; in the past I have signed up and paid for classes that I never go back after the first or second class. She is always watching and taking into account our skill levels, trying different approaches to a pose, and it goes without saying that safety and proper alignment is stressed. She's very approachable and creates a kind of "family" with the group. Small classes, excellent surroundings, and bar none, best instructor.

When I started Yoga with Jamie in 2017, I was a BEGINNER. Jamie was great at explaining all of the moves and making sure my form was correct. She doesn’t want anyone to get hurt. My favorite phrase of hers is “Listen to your body.” She’s great at explaining alternative poses if you’re not ready for exactly what she’s doing.
I love the small class sizes and the intimacy that the new studio provides.
Through yoga I have become stronger, more in touch with my body and calmer overall. I can’t recommend Harford Yoga highly enough!

Harford yoga is one of the best things I have going for me . Brand new studio, happy cheerful group of yoginis and the best instructor ever . She gives personal attention to each of us , gives alternative transitions into the poses for individual requirements. Explains the benefits of each pose . Very warm and welcoming to every student .

I really love Harford Yoga Studio and Jamie! Jamie is a great yoga instructor and is committed to helping make yoga a rewarding and beneficial experience for all of her students. Her classes are friendly and welcoming. They are smaller than most yoga classes, under 10 people, however I personally like the individual touch this allows and am able to relax better than in large yoga classes. Harford Yoga Studio is perfect for beginners or anyone who loves yoga but does not enjoy hot yoga (which is what I was looking for!).
