I can’t recommend Steve at Iron Athletics enough! From the moment I started training with him, I knew I was in great hands. Steve is not just a personal trainer—he’s a mentor, motivator, and expert in weight lifting who truly cares about his clients’ success.

When I first walked into Iron Athletics, I was a complete beginner and felt overwhelmed by the idea of weight lifting. Steve immediately put me at ease with his friendly, approachable demeanor and his clear passion for fitness. He took the time to understand my goals, assess my fitness level, and create a personalized plan that was both challenging and achievable. His attention to detail is incredible—he always ensures my form is perfect to prevent injuries and maximize results.

What sets Steve apart is his ability to push me out of my comfort zone while still making every session enjoyable. He’s patient, encouraging, and knows exactly how to keep me motivated, even on days when I feel like giving up. Thanks to his guidance, I’ve seen incredible progress in my strength, muscle tone, and overall confidence in the gym. Plus, he’s always sharing helpful tips on nutrition and recovery, which have been a huge part of my success.

Iron Athletics is an amazing gym—clean, well-equipped, and professional—but Steve is the real star. He’s transformed my approach to fitness and helped me achieve results I never thought possible. If you’re looking for a personal trainer who is knowledgeable, supportive, and genuinely invested in your progress, Steve at Iron Athletics is the one. Trust me, you won’t regret it! Thank you, Steve, for helping me become the strongest version of myself!

I started working with Steve this July, and am beyond pleased with the results I’ve been getting! The facility is amazing (great equipment & atmosphere) & the trainer is even better! 😆

After graduating from college, I had some trouble maintaining a gym routine. I was able to stay active by playing different sports, but weight training was one that I didn’t feel comfortable picking up again. I didn’t quite know how to plan my workouts & was always nervous about whether I was doing the exercises properly or doing too much/enough.

But from day 1 at Iron Athletics, all that worry immediately went away. Steve makes working out challenging yet fun. He makes sure that you understand how & why we do the exercises, & is always willing to make adjustments to today’s workout if something isn’t feeling right.
The satisfaction you get after every workout is truly the best!

I’m so happy to find my love for weight training again, & am always looking forward to my next session.

Thank you Steve for all the hard work in helping me get stronger & feel more confident about myself. Looking forward to the many more workout sessions to come!!!

I've been working with Steve at Iron Athletics for over two years. From the very first meeting where we discussed my goals, Steve has tailored my training to meet those goals and continually challenge me. He has surpassed any expectations I had and as a result, my improvements have been far better than expected. He continually checks in to see if my goals have changed and adjusts my plan based on that information. As an endurance athlete, my needs differ from many athletes, and Steve takes that into account and has worked with me through my various running and triathlon related injuries to ensure that while I heal, my strength doesn't decrease.

Worth everything penny! You're missing out if you don't work with Steve.

I came across Steve January 2022 online because he was close by and I needed someone who knew what they were doing to help me reach my goals. I actively avoided going to public gyms and often didn't know what to do or how to do it. I've joined all kinds of classes, gyms, bootcamps... And often ended up tired and not motivated to go.

I look forward to my sessions with Steve. Steve focuses on form, range of motion, balance, and mobility with everything you do. I am not only more energized and stronger, but he's helped me work on correcting issues with my hips from a fall several years ago. I also lost 20+ pounds as a bonus! (Although half the work is in your diet outside of the gym).

If you're serious about meeting your goals, I highly recommend investing in yourself and let Steve be the one to help you! He's personable, friendly and a true expert in our community.

I have been going to Steve on and off since 2009. Steve is very knowledgeable and personable. He has trained me at my biggest, with injuries, after surgery and my whole first pregnancy and he has always tailored the workouts for my needs. He will motivate, educate, and make it fun to help you achieve your goals. I highly recommend him!

I came to Iron Athletics feeling defeated after nearly a year of trying different things to recover from back pain that was preventing me from weight lifting. Steve immediately assured me that he would help me recover from my injury and get back to lifting. Ever since I started training with Steve, I have had no issues with my back pain while lifting and have gained a lot of confidence in myself! He has been excellent at training me to recognize imbalances and teaching me tricks on how to self-correct my form. Steve is incredibly knowledgeable and will answer any question you have or explain anything you want to know to you as you train.

When you join Iron Athletics, your goals are documented so that Steve can tailor a workout plan for you to achieve those goals. The structure and developmental pace of his workout plans are grounded in Steve's prior experience in Strong Man competitions, a thirst for knowledge, and his desire to pull the best out of his clients. But it doesn't stop there... unlike some trainers who try to dictate workouts without context, Steve explains why he sequences exercises, how the body responds to muscular stress, and solicits feedback throughout so it truly is a partnership to help you reach your goals.

On a personal note, I have been training with Steve for 3 years now, and my 16-yr old has joined me for nearly the last 2 years. Not only have both my son and I made tremendous progress toward our goals, but training with Steve has been a really rewarding bonding experience for us and brought us closer together. I definitely recommend Steve whether you are training solo, or with a friend or family member.
