I noticed the newest review was a year ago??? I stopped in to get some information on the classes. The staff member was friendly. Told me about their 2 week special. Drop in a time for $59. Not sure what the monthly rate is. But when she told me it was $30 for one class She lost me. $30 for one drop in class??? When I can watch classes for free on YT. Not the same as in person but still interactive and all I really care about is the exercise. They may want to revisit their prices. And the room is small. I felt a little claustrophobic.

A fun, full body workout set to music. The center offers a wide variety of class formats and instructors. There is always something new- you will never get bored. Beyond that- Jazzercise Gaithersburg is a welcoming community. I'm happy to call my fellow dancers "friends". Hope to see you there!

I moved to the Gaithersburg Jazzercise fitness center about a year and a half ago, and they made me feel at home right away. The classes are amazing and they are taught by well trained instrucors. They offer high impact and low impact options in all of the classes. They offer morning and late afternoon/early evening classes. Jazzercise Gaithersburg Fitness Center is an amazing place to exercise with your Jazzerbuddies!

Fantastic brand new center! If you're looking for fun, friendship, and a challenging workout...I highly recommend Gaithersburg Jazzercise. The center has so many class offerings that accommodate everyone's schedule and also offers live streaming if you can make it to class. All of the instructors are super friendly and welcoming...one of the things I love most about it!

I highly recommend Gaithersburg Jazzercise. When I moved to the area this year, this community made me feel right at home. Classes are effective and fun. You can get a full body workout, attend a stretch class or focus on sculpting your muscles. There are many class times to choose from each week and a great group of instructors. I also enjoy the flexibility to be able to take classes in the studio or online. Bring a friend and join us!

I am addicted to Jazzercise! It’s a great way to work out while dancing to music that you love and while having fun at the same time. You really sweat and build muscle! I have taken Jazzercise classes all over the country and can truthfully say Tara’s studio is the best I’ve ever been to! Tara and all her instructors are fabulous and by the time the class is over, your brain is chock full of endorphins!

I used to love Zumba, but I didn’t want to join a full gym just for 1 group class that may fit my schedule a week.
Jazzercise is my alternative. The nice thing about this gym is that there are several classes/times each day… all of them kick my b.
The staff is so friendly, they all learned my name after just a few classes.
It’s a small, woman-owned franchise, so I feel like I’m supporting a neighbor just by showing up. I’ve never felt that way about a gym before.
The space is small, and it can be hard as a newbie if you get stuck in the back and can’t see the instructors as well.

Such a fun workout! I love the community here - everyone is welcoming and kind, and the instructors are so energetic. We get to dance to the latest music and work up a sweat with cardio and weights - and the class flies by before you know it! It feels like a party every time.

This Jazzercise center is welcoming and offers classes for all different schedules. They have weights and mats available to borrow, and the instructors are friendly and will explain the movements to new students. I workout here at least 3 or 4 times every week, and the workouts make me feel better all day. I highly recommend giving it a try!

Come visit the Gaithersburg Jazzercise Center - everything is clean, bright and brand new with friendly and experienced instructors. After joint replacement surgery I need to modify some moves but I still get a terrific workout and calorie burn in a fun and welcoming environment. Classes are cued for high and low impact and include strength routines. I’ve been a member for more than 20 years. Jazzercise is for everyone - once you try it you will be hooked!

I have been taking Jazzercise classes for more than 25 years at several different studios in the area. I was thrilled when Tara started her own center as she is an excellent instructor and a wonderful person. She offers a variety of formats to keep the classes fun. The location is nice and the floors are great to work out on. I highly recommend anyone tired of their workout routine to try this Jazzercise center, you’ll be surprised at the intensity of the workout while still having fun.

Jazzercise Gaithersburg Rockville is a great workout for all ages! I've enjoyed Jazzercise in the Montgomery County area for a few years, and joined the Gaithersburg/Rockville studio when it opened in Fall 2020. Tara (franchise owner) and the other instructors are fabulous and energetic, bringing a positive and caring vibe to each class. Jazzercise has stayed very "modern", using contemporary pop music almost as soon as it comes out. The routines themselves work your entire body. I've taken several different types of exercise classes/approaches over the years, and Jazzercise brings unique, effective, and fun movements, covering cardio, strength and balance (plus warm-up and cool-down). It does incorporate some jazz-based dance moves, but they are pretty basic and repeated enough in each song that you pick up the "choreography" pretty quickly. The company comes out with new routines to new songs pretty much monthly, and so it never gets boring. There are different class types each week that mix up how much cardio and strength you do in each class. Also, while there are high-impact moves such as skips and hops in some routines, it's quite easy to take it down to low impact if you prefer. Of course, you should wear good workout shoes, and for most classes you should bring hand weights (~4-8 lbs) and a mat. The Berrand Dance Centre is a nice venue with fabulous workout floors; lots of parking space. For now during the pandemic, we're wearing masks in the building, and virtual options are also available. But we're looking forward to a more normal in-person scene in the future! Try it out; it's a fun way to stay in shape!
