Outstanding!!! We enrolled my son (6) with autism and severe anxiety for Taekwondo this summer and he is learning so much. My family has been involved in taekwondo since the 1990's & I can honestly say the Kick Connection is the best Martial Arts school around! Top notch instructors in TKd & Eskrima. You couldn't ask for better instructors! They are confident and extremely knowledgeable in their art & they, themselves, are always willing to learn!! In fact, at the Kick Connection, you actually see the instructors training & working hard.
They lead by example. They dont just talk. They do. This is extremely difficult to find yet the Kick Connection has it! Master Carlos has had several of the same instructors working there since before my family was involved in the martial arts & I believe that speaks volumes about his intergrity & how loyal Master C is.
The Kick Connection has something for everyone whether it be fitness through the arts, learning self defense, boosting your confidence or competing at a National & World class level. The Kick Connection has top flight competitors in both TKD & Eskrima.

Our son and daughter have been going to Kick Connection since they were 6 years old and 3 years old enrolling in their Taekwondo program.

My wife and I had been wanting our kids to be involved in something they could both do. We were not counting on them both being ready for white belt instruction because our daughter was 3 years old at the time but she was advanced for her age so they really did get to come up together all their years up to their 1st degree black belt and 2nd degree black Belt. They have a really close and tight knit bond and I know Taekwondo and Eskrima only helped make that bond stronger.

Kick Connection has taught them a good foundation and helped them to also be good stewards within our community. They have learned self-defense and also the tenets and principles of Taekwondo which they use in their every day lives.

Through their training in Kick Connection our kids were both able to be transformed into World Champions in Eskrima our son at 8 years old and our daughter (a 2 time champion at 5 years old). Outside of Taekwondo and Eskrima they have also been straight A students and Math 2 time County Champions back to back and won awards in their academics like Robotix and engineering and 24 club for the county and represented All-County in orchestra and had solo performances in violin.

Master Carlos and Mister CJ and all of the instructors at Kick Connection are world class instructors and world class people. We would recommend and have recommended Kick Connection to our friends and family. -Pius

Kick Connection is an excellent martial arts school with a well rounded curriculum and a fantastic group of teachers and students. As a parent with young children, I was decades out of practice (and shape) though I had participated in martial arts growing up. My first class I was nervous about being able to keep up but I was met with patience, one-on-one attention from several different instructors, and immediately welcomed into the community. Every class we've covered a mix of fundamentals, escrima curriculum, and self defense techniques from a variety of different martial arts. This program has been a challenge in the best of ways and I continue to be excited for class and the exercise that comes with it in a way that I haven't been able to replicate since college.

I can honestly say that investing the time into Kick Connection has been the best decision I could have made for my mental and physical well being. Take a chance on yourself and check it out!

Grand Master Carlos and the entire staff are amazing teachers. Grand Master Carlos and staff work wonderfully with children of all ages. All instructors are positive, energetic, understanding, extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The facility is clean and safe. Lessons are effective and taught at all levels. The only minor negative thing I could say is, on occasion… some (not all) instructors (occasionally) have a tendency to “wear out” the students before their curriculum begins, making it difficult to remember and retain what was taught, and should potentially take into consideration not everyone is at the same “fitness level”. This, in no way diminishes what a wonderful, practical, amazing and glorious place this is. Very much a “family vibe” here, And would highly recommend this wonderful school to any one thinking of starting lesions or getting their children enrolled for a wonderful journey.

This is a very well-organized class extremely different style martial arts combination of karate 10-year world eriskco which is the art of stick and knife fighting combined with a mix of jujitsu and judo. They have been 13-year international champions the only ITF certified martial art place in the state of Maryland. I am hoping to compete with them in the Philippines next year if this coronavirus will go away.

I came to learn self defense and try to lose some weight and ended up with a new understanding of myself and my capabilities. Master Carlos and all of the instructions and students have made my choice to join this "family" the best decision I have ever made for myself. I am humbled and honored to be getting to know all of these wonderful people. Master Carlos once thanked me for believing in him. I responded with "Thank you for giving me something to believe in". Do not give you bank information to Carlos!!! I canceled early March and then provided proof that I moved 80 miles away, Carlos shook my hand and promised me that I should not receive any more charges moving forward. This has been a nightmare, they have been wanting to collect 232 dollars for April and my kids stopped attendance in early March and I gave notice way ahead of time. Carlos should not be so greedy, I trusted him and his facility to honer the contract, now I am battling this charge, shame on you Carlos...

Carlos is the best. He is patient with the children of all ages. I'm just really impressed by how well behaved the kids are in his class. Since I've been there, I have yet to see one child cry when he corrects bad behavior. I also have not seen one child cry because he or she didn't get a stripe or didn't get to test, and I am talking about 3 and four year olds. He is truly amazing, patient, disciplined, and best of all, knows his stuff. He genuinely cares about each and every child, and no child is left behind. I wouldn't take my children anywhere else, even if they paid me.

It was my lucky day when I came to check out Kick Connection. I had already visited another martial art center closer to my house and decided to enroll my son there. My wife made me come to Kick Connection on a recommendation from a friend. When I arrived at Kick Connection to check it out, I meant Mr. Carlos. I changed my mine after meeting him. My son would join Kick Connection. Mr. Carlos is absolutely the best person whom has ever instructed my son at any level. His demeanor with children is unsurpassed in my experience as a parent. His credentials are unmatched as he has produced over 70 world champions in Eskrima. He is also head of the US Stick Fighting Association. He is supported by several excellent instructors and his 6 black belt sons and daughters. It is a family business like no other that I have seen. Kick Connection has had a profound positive impact on my son. This place is absolutely the best place for martial arts training for young kids.
