This place is so great! I have been bringing my son here since he was 8 months old in mommy and me. Now he is getting in the pool and doesn’t need me at all. All of the instructors are great but I have to give a big shout out to Mr. Chris and Ms. Kylie. In times of doubt for me they always reassured me and my son! I have been coming here for over 10 years. I started with Adult aerobics and water Zumba. Instructors were very good. Explaining everything the workouts entailed. They took extra caution during covid. My grandson took swim lessons there and also had his Birthday party there. We have taken the kids to open swim and I have went back to water aerobics.Highly recommend following their Facebook page.

I started taking my children to Kids Swim school in Dundalk when my daughter for 8 months old. She is now 7 years old and my son is 4 years old. I LOVE this swim school. I could go to another swim school that is closer, though I will not. They have been so good and my children are both so comfortable there. It is like a family environment. Our family has been holding birthday parties at Kids First Swim (Dundalk location) for about 4 years now. We've hosted a total of 9 parties in that time. We cannot say enough kind things about the staff and the location. The party booking process is so easy, their team takes care of almost EVERYTHING. All you need to do is show up, decorate, and enjoy your time in the pool. The location is always clean, from the front reception area, to the pool itself. There is an abundance of changing areas, so the switch from pool time to party room time is never cumbersome or crowded. The lifeguards are thorough in their explanation of rules/expectations for your swimmers and they're always very polite/respectful when it comes to correcting any poor behaviors in the pool area (specifically running, i've always got at least one partygoer who gets a little too excited to cannonball). We love that they're partnered with Pat's Pizza, so we can get an abundance of food for a lower cost. And being right next to Family Dollar is a dream because no matter how many parties we host there, we can never remember to bring candles or a lighter. I recommend KFSS Dundalk to EVERYONE who is looking for a way to host a birthday party where weather is never a problem and entertainment is included. Can't wait to see you guys again in October!

This is an excellent swimming school. They hosted my daughter's birthday party and were very reasonably priced; the staff were nice enough to help clean up and even provided recommendations to local venues for food, etc.

Since then, my daughter has been taking swimming lessons here. The teachers and staff are very patient with her and provide regular feedback. The pool is always clean and safety is top priority. We have a nearly-6 year old and a 3 year old enrolled for about 2 years now, and love KF! The shallow end of the warm pool was a huge confidence builder for the older kiddo, who is already now doing front crawl and back stroke before 6 years old. The KFSS in Dundalk is such a great swim school. They worked out so well with helping our daughter on different techniques to use in the water. We started private lessons with Mr. Mikey and she definitely improved very quickly on her pencil dives, holding her breath and not being so afraid to jump in. We had one session here and would not go back. We signed up with our six month old. The pool is very crowded and hectic because they have 2-3 classes going at a time. It makes it extremely loud on the pool area, especially for little babies. But the worst part was hearing the way the staff spoke to some of the young children in the other classes. It was not a positive environment at all.

I have put my kids through programs at this school multiple times and each time I walk away dissapointed. Some teachers are great but others leave a lot to be desired. This place will absolutely give you a place to get in the water and they will tell you what to do but if your child won’t do it they don’t do anything to push them as they’re willing to accept their current level.

The drains in the pool area that are against the wall have dust, hair, lint, & all kinds of stuff. The back door area looks unappealing, the carpet is so old and the restrooms/changing rooms need to be remodeled. The entire space needs to be rehabbed.

Love this place! The staff has always been amazing, but the touches of new paint/decorations can easily be felt with the new ownership as well. I have both of my children attend classes, but my son attends 1:1 swim training. They both love their instructors, but the extra care with my son who has special needs and the flexibility when we need to do a makeup makes the staff even more awesome. I appreciate them so much. The management also works with me on any grant-funded classes and has made it seamless. I would highly recommend for all levels of swimmers.

I have been going to this place for a few years now. My kids really enjoy it and I've seen my oldest go from complete fear of the water to being able to swim the length of the pool by himself in a multitude of different ways. They've had several different teachers and for the most part have liked them all. They are patient and helpful and I find that my kids really enjoy being there.

I will admit that the earlier classes can be a little frustrating if you do the cheaper group classes because the amount of kids and individual attention for each kids tends to keep the others idle. But that changes around level 4 when they are all doing things at the same time. I'd say either be patient or pay for private classes for earlier levels. I do wish there was more interaction with the instructors so we can pin point some trouble areas to work on, but I do understand that there is not a lot of time in between classes.

Very disappointed with this swim school and would not recommend, I would give a 0 stars if possible. I enrolled my son in the 4 week swim program, level 2. The first 2 weeks of his class there were 4 other children in his small group. One of the children in this small group constantly disrupted the class, spitting water at the instructor the entire time and goofing off. This caused the class to be disrupted and for the instructor to focus on this one child the entire time, meanwhile my child just stood in the pool. I felt like it was a waste of 2 weeks/swim classes for my son. I understand children can be disruptive but 2 weeks in a row is unacceptable when I am paying for my child to attend a class. The disruptive child should have been removed from the class after the first class. The third week I moved my child to a different day in hopes that this class would be better. My son goes to enter the pool and the instructor insists he is in the level 4 class. My son can not swim underwater so why they insisted he was to be moved to the level 4 class was beyond my understanding. After 10 minutes of the instructor insisting the child is in her class, she finally moved him to the correct class level 2. Which this wasted 15 of the 30 minutes the child is in the class. At this point I am very frustrated with this swim school. After to speaking to several other parents, it was made known that this is a common thing that occurs here at this swim school, the instructors don't know which children they have in their class prior to the class so they put the children where ever I guess they feel like they belong based off their age and size. Which is not fair at all. I asked to speak to the manager to see if there was anyway we could be compensated/refunded for the 3 wasted classes and was told the manager would get back in contact with me. No one ever called and the several times I called back I was told no one was available to speak to me, that my son had the 3 classes, what more did I want. Also, the swim school uses an app to give your child stars each week to rate how your child did in the class, rather than the instructor talking to you personally about it. The first 2 weeks my son got 2 stars each week which I kind felt annoyed by because how did the instructor rate 2 stars when she spent the entire time with the disruptive child not even probably knowing who my child even was. The third week my child never got the scores at all. I mentioned that on the phone when I called to speak to the manager and the lady said "oh well the instructors have 24 to 48 hours to rate your child". I never received the scores so I called back again a week later and was told oh your child wasn't able to be rated because the instructor doesn't remember if he was in the class or not. Like what kind of answer is that?! I ended up not taking my child to the last, 4th class because I felt like what was the point? It was a waste of 100 dollars for me to take him the last 3 classes. So my overall recommendation for this swim school, is to either find somewhere else or to have a one on one instructor (which even then your child will be in a pool filled with 2 to 3 other swim classes so really it isn't private lessons).

Terrible experience at Dundalk. I will never bring my child back. Instructors are extremely rude and lazy. They have an app for parents to review your child's progress each week. This app is only in place so the instructors don't have to communicate with you. Instructors are too lazy to even update it. They only updated the first week. My son finished his session with no final evaluation. When I called, they told me they would update it. Instead they just copied the same evaluation from the very first week without giving any explanation. When you try to ask the instructors questions at the front desk, they are always extremely rude and talk over you. If you are looking to waste your money without proper instruction, check out Dundalk. Otherwise, I would highly recommend going elsewhere.

This school is probably the worse school in Maryland. They don’t give you any information. They don’t have enough instructors, each one have at least 5 kids at a time so your child is only getting 10 minutes in the water. I tired signing her up for private lessons they have two or three kids at a time charge you more for nothing. My daughter used to go there I signed her up for 12 weeks it was so bad she only did 5 weeks out of that she did no more than two hours. On her first day she almost died they let her go in the water alone. I would rather lose the money then go there again. Waste of time and money. They dont give you the right information.

I think the price increases for adult water aerobics are outrageous. I went from paying $60 per month to go 5 days a week (I could go evening class also) to now it's $70 per month for just 2 classes a week. I was given another price that included warm water therapy, but I am not interested in that. I enjoyed going there, but you just lost a customer. We are literally paying the price for the pandemic yet again. Businesses are raising prices to make up for their losses, when in fact, many of them (speaking on all business, not just swim club) got the Grant's, low interest loans, etc.

Nice place to take the kids for free swim or lessons. They work hard to make the kids comfortable with the water. There is an area for parties as well.

My son has been going to this Kid's First Swim School for about the past 2 and a half years. He is almost 3 1/2. This place has become one of the places he is comfortable with going. The majority of the instructors that are not his know him by his name. He has not had a lot of different instructors over his time here as the turnover of instructors seems to be very low. Sometimes when he has his days when he doesn't want to go we can ask him if he wants to go see his swimming teachers and he will change his mind about going. Very good family setting.The dressing rooms are always neat.

Love Mrs.Rose she is a wonderful person and did a great job teaching my granddaughter Maisie. All the employees are wonderful very personable love it, water aerobics is my favorite.

I like the place but not necessarily the location. Dundalk is a funny area, nonetheless my children are in level 2 in Wednesdays and so far I am liking the class. There are only 5 students in that class at that particular time slot. I am hoping to sign my children up for the homeschool program they have. The area inside is clean. The staff is friendly and welcoming.

My child has been attending Kids First Swim School for a few months now and we both LOVE It. Ms. Rose is an awesome teacher. She is patient, fun, but stern. Watching my son progress through the levels has been a joy. The facility is clean and very welcoming.

This is my 1st time at this location.My 4 year old loves his teacher Ms. Chrissy because she's very attentive and patient with small children. My son is impulsive and full of energy and she was able to engage and keep his attention throughout the entire session. I signed him up for Level 2.

Great teachers and lovely facility for little kids. My daughter's progression through the swim classes has been amazing, she has just turned 4 years old and absolutely loves going to swim class.

The swim classes and family swim night are great BUT if you dont have any children enrolled in swim classes u cant utilize family swim night.
