Luna is a perfectly OK studio. The owner Jasmine is very down to earth, and Danica is a great and kind teacher. I can only speak for pole as I haven’t taken aerial here, but there is a lot of level confusion as the classes are not incredibly segmented. There are mostly multi-level classes and they contain a wide range of skill levels. The pole and aerial classes are in the same room, so you will hear music and instruction from the other class. There are 6 poles total and the classes accept 6 students, so often a student and instructor share. It is quite expensive for only one class per week, and if you don’t have availability one week, classes don’t roll over.

Luna has become my home away from home! The quality of instruction, the dedication to safety, and the personalized experience truly make this studio stand out from all the rest. Not only are the instructors amazingly talented, caring, and supportive, but fellow students are equally as supportive and the community building that goes on behind these walls is unlike anything else I've experienced. Not to sound dramatic, but my improvement in the studio directly correlates to my day-to-day life. I am stronger, more confident, and pay more attention to details. Luna Aerial provides a fun alternative way to exercise.
I’ve been a student here for 3 years; I’ve taken classes in trapeze, lyra, fabrics, sling, and pole. They’re all super fun classes and I always leave feeling great.

Throughout my time here, I’ve seen that they take safety seriously - something that is incredibly important to me as an overly cautious person. The aerial rigging feels super secure and is inspected regularly, the apparatuses are well maintained, and they have an AED on site.

The instructors are patient, kind, and encouraging people who provide a supportive space to students of all ages and skill levels. They challenge students to try new things while ensuring they are equipped with the strength, comprehension, and skills needed to remain safe throughout their aerial/pole journey.

I initially posted a really positive review but I'm changing it because the whole reason I loved Luna Aerial so much is because they had amazing instructors and they seemed extremely committed to safety. I came into class after one week of being gone and suddenly four of the instructors, two of which were my primary instructors who I really trusted, were suddenly gone and I was thrown into classes with a brand new instructor who (in my opinion) didn't have enough training and an instructor who had a completely different teaching style than what I was used to and that I did not feel safe with. My entire reason for taking supplemental classes at Luna was for safety reasons. The instructors I loved, trusted, and felt safe with were gone without warning, and I suddenly felt very unsafe in classes. Proceed with extreme caution if you're going to go to this studio. Things could change drastically from one day to the next.

Don't spend any money here that you aren't willing to lose. Even an injury that is preventing me from being able to do this sport, after years of being a student here, wasn't enough reason to get any kind of refund for a year's worth of classes that I had just started using.

Luna Aerial Dance is an incredible little aerial dance and performing arts studio that is welcoming, versatile, patient, supportive and fun. Whatever your aerial interest, if they have the class here, I would highly recommend it. The instructors are fun, kind, helpful and even make the dreaded conditioning not as bad. They will support your goals and do whatever they can to help you achieve them. Note that many classes are for youth only, so to sign up as an adult, sign up for the adult classes! I love this studio! I just wish they had more adult classes!

I am incredibly lucky and grateful to have found Luna Aerial Dance and Performing Arts when I did. Shortly after moving to Hagerstown, I knew this was where I belonged.

As someone in their twenties still discovering who I am, Tina and the instructors have been instrumental in helping me grow both as a person and in building the confidence I always wanted. I can confidently say I am gradually becoming the woman I've always aspired to be, in terms of how I carry myself and navigate the world.

This year, I competed in my first-ever competition, PSO 2024, and was able to place among the other talented ladies on this wonderful team. The PSO competition was an incredible experience, and Luna has created an environment where you not only enjoy the process but also give 100% of yourself on that stage. The hard work and dedication are evident, and there’s no option but to succeed.

With the help, love, and support of instructors such as Tina, Jasmine, Erika, Karley, and many others I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my journey here. I look forward to what the future holds!

Don't ever get a membership with this place. They say that you can "cancel anytime" but will continually charge you for classes you don't attend. They go in round about ways and blame you for "not understanding" things when they are the ones that "misunderstand". Unfortunate since the instructors are amazing, but not worth it to deal with management. Stay away. There are better options out there unless you're on with being charged an exorbitant amount of money for poor service. Management is also extremely rude and condescending.

Update: The studio reached out and generously offered me a second try. It was amazing! The instructor worked with students at our individual levels and it was a more personalized experience. It was a workout for sure (!) and I highly recommend if you’re looking for a new type of challenge! Again, super encouraging and non-judgemental atmosphere- thank you!

I loved the two instructors I met! They were welcoming, patient, friendly, and generous. The studio was clean and comfortable. Minus the class, everything about this experience was a 5/5. I hate situations like this because the people were phenomenal but the content could be improved (I say this with complete humility as I try to be honest for others)

I only gave 3 stars because the class itself was not challenging, crowded (you spend a fair amount of time waiting for your turn) and the instruction was not appropriate for the skill level. I did an aerial beginners class ($40 but a friend can join you for free) and spent more time on the floor than on the silks. The moves were not challenging and I was able to do everything with ease- which meant I spent a lot of time standing while others took longer turns. The instructor started to lead the cool down and there were moves me and some others didn’t get to try! After the cool down we hastily scrambled to get our moves in and snap a pic in the progress.

I can not begin to express how amazing Luna Aerial Dance and Performing Arts Studio is. Tina, all of her staff and students are phenomenal people and deserve to be called heroes in this community. I have been doing pole fitness for about 2.5 years and lived in PA. I would visit family in Maryland and would take classes as a visitor at this studio. Unfortunately, one day, while taking classes, I collapsed. I am a very healthy individual and never thought something like that would happen to me. I suffered a cardiac arrest, and the women at this studio literally saved my life. Tina followed me to the hospital and checked on me daily. The women at this studio will always be special to me, especially Tina. I am hoping I will be able to come back someday, but I am still recovering.

When you are starting a new journey like aerial fitness or pole, you want to be surrounded by people who care about you and will build you up. You will have more than that at this studio, you will have people who love you. Thank you again to everyone that was there for me that day. I hope to be dancing with you all again soon 💓.

Luna Aerial is wonderful!! We booked the studio for a private pole dance class as part of a bachelorette party. The staff made it perfect! All of the girls (various levels of fitness) loved it, and the instructor met all of our different skill levels, making us all feel confident. She also asked for song reqs ahead of time, and choreographed a dance to our chosen song. She was very flexible with what we wanted (e.g., we wanted skills + choreography). The staff were waiting for us ahead of time, were very welcoming, and made the whole event special. I wish I lived closer to this studio so that I could take classes there weekly! The studio space is beautiful, clean and fun -- I would give it 6 stars if I could! It couldn't have been better or more specialized to us.

My entire first experience with Luna Aerial was excellent from start to finish. I initially contacted the studio by way of email and received a quick response from Devin. I was inquiring about scheduling a private beginner’s aerial class for my daughter’s birthday - a mother and daughter session. Devin was very polite, helpful, and answered all of my questions. We were scheduled in no time! I got a chance to speak to Tina, the owner and our instructor, prior to our class and she was also very pleasant and helpful over the phone, not to mention her encouraging words and good sense of humor, since this would be the first time my daughter and I did something like this.
Fast forward to my daughter’s birthday, also the day of our class. We arrived fairly early and was sitting in the car ready to patiently wait; however Tina saw us sitting in the car, and met us at the door with her mask on letting us know it was ok for us to come in. During this time of COVID, she checked our temperature (we were also in masks as required) and gave us a break down of their safety measures, consisting of how they disinfected.
The class was AWESOME! My daughter said it was one of her best birthdays ever. We had soooo much fun and many laughs! Tina made our first experience very enjoyable with her great conversation, encouragement, warm up, cool down exercises, and overall HER PATIENCE with my lack of coordination and following verbal direction skills. She’s an amazing instructor. The studio was very clean and aesthetically pleasing. Thank you again Tina for such an enjoyable session.

If you’re wondering if you should enroll go ahead and do it. I know you’ll love it, so ask about the monthly membership because after your first class you will be hooked. The staff and students at Luna are supportive and make you feel like your apart of one big family. When I started my first silks class I was happy with all the new things I learned. I started with silks and have also fallen in love with two other apparatuses. I enjoy that the staff is patient willing to understand and work with different types of learners while stressing the importance of safety. If you’re looking for a way to be creative, and challenge yourself then take a class and become apart of the Luna family

Stay far far away from Tina and this studio. Tina stole $1000 from me when pre selling packages and then up and moving the studio - conveniently declaring bankruptcy on the first business so the second couldn't be held liable. Then promised to refund the package but did that happen after MONTHS of back and forth promising "soon"? Of course not.

Do not support this thief unless you want to get swindled too.

Honestly, I love this place. When I first heard about the trend in aerial fitness, I really wanted to try it. I was nervous because as a mom of 3, I didn't know how much I would be able to do. The staff has completely made me feel encouraged and comfortable. I have also enrolled my 7 year old daughter in the silks class. SHE LOVES IT!
I would recommend this studio to anyone looking for a good workout in a supportive and encouraging environment.
