I was looking for traditional Judo instruction. I checked out the website of this school, it advertised Judo so I enquired. Got a very enthusiastic response within 24 hours, but, when I asked about Judo, as it was listed, I never heard back anymore. I pointed out that it was listed on the site, still no answer. I decided I would not go bc I feel the school misrepresented itself by advertising a certain martial art by not giving a simple answer to whether or not they teach Judo, as it IS advertised on their website

We love MBK. MBK instills leadership skills, self confidence, a sense of community and camaraderie between the kids. My son is is having fun developing strength physically and mentally. Thank you MBK staff!

I have been with this school going on 10 years, that speaks volumes! Family atmosphere with very invested, thorough instructors. Very well rounded and structured curiculum. This is not a microwaved belt pushing school. They encourage personal growth in all aspects of your life, in your mental, emotional and physical development for all ages, with individual needs in mind. Everyone wins when parents and family are encouraged to be a part of the students journey. You will be very pleased you found us!

Since attending Maryland’s Best, my confidence level has increased, thought process matured, and athleticism developed. The dedication put into educating their students shows and we are better for it. Both my son and I attend and don’t intend on stopping anytime soon.

This place is truly the best.

I put my son, Max, in the program simply because they offer a great after school program. Turns out, It taught Max discipline and respect. He had fun and his confidence soared.

They offer an adults program. So after seeing the difference it made on Max, I figured I would check it out. If nothing else, it would be a good workout. I found more than fitness. I feel more coordinated. I feel a bit safer. Most importantly, I found a community. A family.

So be sure to check this place out. It’s truly amazing! And to my fellow mom- don’t worry, it does not promote violence. It teaches courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self control and indomitable spirit.

I love Maryland’s Best Karate! The instructors are very passionate about their teaching. They work with you and have very good patience, while working with people of all ages! It’s amazing what Maryland’s Best Karate has to offer. We are a family here and no one gets left behind! I love it here and I’m sure everyone else would too! OSU!
