I’ve been at MBT for about 2 years, and I can tell you that this has been the best experience of my life. I will always vividly remember my first nutcracker, right as I was about to go onstage performing. All the teachers have made my technique improve, and boosted my self confidence in dance. They also have been the sweetest, and most patient, this is truly an amazing dance school. I really love the studio, and I’m really hoping to continue my years of dancing here.

Our daughter, Joy, has been in MBT since she was 3 year-old. For the last 9ish years, MBT staff members have help her to not only grow into an amazing dancer, but a strong young lady! She has met some of the amazing dance teachers and life-long friends at MBT. This year, Joy is cutting down on her level of commitment to ballet and try out other types of dances and activities. Ms. Liz and Ms. Katerina were very sad to not see Joy as much, but at the same time so supportive and helpful to try to make a schedule that will work for her. I would recommend MBT to anyone who is interested in dance. Thank you MBT for naturing Joy and other children by providing them a safe environment to learn and grow as a dancer and person!

I have grown up at MBT and it has been like a second home to me. I am recently graduated, but am continuing to pursue dance because of the dance education I have received at this school. I have also found that my closest friendships were created in this environment. I also gained the skills of mentorship, leadership, and determination . The dance education is also unmatched. I could not even describe the countless outreach, and performance opportunities MBT offers. Ms. Liz, the director has taught me what working hard means, and pushes each and every dancer to be the best they can be. For a truly inspired dancer, MBT will give the best dance education and serve as a creative outlet for any dancer.

We have been attending MBT for two years now, both as a parent and a child. My daughter made fast friends, improved her technique dramatically, and relished the performance opportunities. I have been attending many of metropolitan ballet performances while living in dc area and I admire the professionalism and the mastery of all the performers and the instructors . My daughter has been training at MBT for several years (5+). She loves the teachers, the lessons and the opportunity to participate in the professional performances of Nutcracker and Spring shows.

As a Mom, I have taken some adult classes too. They are fun and challenging. I wished my schedule would allow me to go to all the classes they offer. The families at MBT are wonderful and I enjoy all their community events.

We found this program from a flyer my daughter brought home from school for the Nutcracker performance when she was in 1st grade. Since then, she's been a part of their program and is going into 4th grade now. She loves it.

My grandson and granddaughter attend this School. I’ve attended several ballet productions and a couple of their Collectives and I am super impressed with how well the shows are run and how nurturing and caring the staff and teachers seem to be. Ms. Catlett had to fight tears a couple of times in their most recent Collective when talking about the older girls growing up from the little ballerinas. Both of my grandkids love their teachers and their dances. The School
has programs in place to encourage partnership and friendship among their dancers. My grandkids, I believe, are now dancing with lifelong friends. I would highly recommend to any dance families looking for a home that happens to be a great dance education provider.
