After 4 years, I can't believe I am still so happy with Park Fitness - it is the best gym membership I've ever had. Gone are days of convincing myself to go - now I look forward to my workouts and love the way I feel - all thanks to Park Fitness! I can’t recommend it enough.

Joining a gym can be intimidating, sure you’re doing it to get fit (or fitter), develop or improve your habits, feel better; and spark Fitness offers all of that, but you don’t expect to find a community that is so caring that they become family.

Workouts are great: varied, fast paced, and fun. You can set your level-dig in and build your muscle and tone under the guidance of great trainers. You come in and spend 45 minutes living in the moment and it makes your body and mind happy!

The community is amazing: the trainers, the members, they all genuinely care about each other. There’s no intimidating in-crowd- everyone is IN the crowd. Maybe you don’t want to join a gym for the friends, but I promise you will never feel more encouraged, supported, or just happy to go to the gym. Never again will you have to convince yourself to go, instead you will feel sad when you can’t get there!

Whether you’ve always belonged to a gym or are looking to start for the first or 50th time, I can’t say enough about Park Fitness. Don’t delay-come check it out!

Park Fitness has been truly one of the best investments I have made in and for myself! After almost 2 years at PF, I am stronger than I have ever been. I have been a member at several different gyms over the years but this is the most consistent I have ever gone to the gym. Vick and Amalia make the workouts challenging but fun. They are always so good about giving modifications for every exercise to really accommodate everyone’s abilities. The atmosphere is so positive and friendly. I can’t say enough about this gym. The free 7 day workout pass is a great way to see for yourself what a truly exceptional gym this is! Thank you Joe and Danny for all you do to make working out so enjoyable! High fives!

I have been an active member of Park Fitness for 5 and a half years now and I am not a “gym” person. It is hands down the BEST place in the area to workout. It is a welcoming and supportive environment that encourages everyone to workout at their level. The coaches are knowledgeable and are always there to answer questions or suggest a modification if needed. “Just get in the door” and the rest just falls into place.

I start most days at Park Fitness because it brings a smile to my face and strength to my body. I've never been a gym person because they are too impersonal and often intimidating. Park Fitness is just the opposite - Joe and Danny, the owners, greet you at the door by name. The trainers (who include Joe and Danny) are experienced and work with you to meet your goals and/or help you set those goals. If you have physical limitations, they help you modify workouts to meet your needs. The workouts are engaging and constantly changing. Music is great and vibe is high energy, engaging and fun! It's truly an "everyone knows your name" place. Can't recommend it enough! I would encourage you to check out Park Fitness's 7-day pass; that's what brought me in and I've been going there over 3 years, and I still look forward to showing up and working out!

Update July 2025 - 1 year later: I found the right gym! I have gone to 218 workouts this year, lost 27 pounds, learned a LOT about myself and gained significant strength. I sleep and feel so much better!
Original post: I was scared to join a gym because I had no idea what to do there. I had tried before, but never stuck with it. I always felt like an outsider and dreaded going. It was very intimidating to me. I wanted to make the most of my time, loose weight, feel better, sleep better, fit in my clothes in my closet, etc. Quite a tall order. I did not want to do the same workout every day, but I didn’t know what to do to get results. I kept putting it off, until I saw a picture of myself that made me stop in my tracks. I thought about some friends who had lost weight and not only kept it off but were also more active and looked younger. They had one thing in common: Park Fitness. I did a trial to see if it was a good fit for me and never looked back. The workouts change, the trainers encourage and help, the music pumps, the owners care, my skinny clothes fit, I sleep better and feel better, etc. My only regret is that I didn’t start earlier. I didn’t realize the importance of the right gym, until I found the right gym.

Park Fitness is more than a gym. Yes. It is a place to get fit and build strength, but much more than that. There is a strong social connection among the members. Park Fitness is a super well run gym that offers a wide variety of HIIT classes that challenge you and keep you coming back for more. The owners (Danny and Joe) are extremely knowledgeable and personable. They know every member by name and engage you on a personal level for fitness goals and challenges. Coming out of Covid I was more out of shape then I had ever been- I knew I needed to get moving but the thought of being the out shape old lady at the gym was intimidating. Enter Park Fitness - 3 years later and I have never regretted trying the 7 day pass. Not only are the workouts great and varied so you don't get bored but you can't beat the atmosphere. I joined this gym less than a month ago but I’ve already noticed just how different it is than your standard gym. The trainers put in the work of developing whole-body functional fitness exercises each class, all you have to do is show up! That’s perfect for someone like me who never knew which exercises I should be doing and just didn’t have the mental energy to figure it out every week. I already physically feel much better than I did before joining and I actually look forward to attending the classes. The environment is also so supportive, it doesn’t matter what your fitness level is. I highly recommend Park Fitness, especially for someone who doesn’t enjoy the typical gym atmosphere.

EDIT: Coming up on my one-year anniversary and my thoughts haven't changed! This is the only gym I've ever stuck with on a consistent basis. Joining Park Fitness last Winter is without a doubt one of the best choices I’ve ever made. Having been to other gyms, and having done many different workouts in the past, I was familiar with the gym environment, or so I thought. Joining Park Fitness 5 years ago was the best healthy lifestyle decision I’ve made, both physically and mentally. I truly cannot say enough good things about this gym. The benefit of exercise is one thing, but my favorite thing is the friendships I’ve made. I look forward to going to the gym every day, and when I can’t make it in, I miss it!

One year into my Park Fitness membership and it is literally one of the best decisions I have ever made regarding my health. Owners Danny and Joe are truly fitness experts who have created an enthusiastic community where everyone is welcome. I have been coming to Park Fitness for two years and have lost over 50 pounds. I look forward to going to the classes and I can make the workout as hard or as easy as I need based on modifications they provide or using different weights. It also makes sure I work muscles that I might not if I was working out on my own. Easily the best gym in our area! Danny & Joe as well as the rest of the staff are very supportive throughout your fitness journey. Exercise is essential to your physical health and mental well-being, and even more so during this pandemic.

In the spring when everything shut down, my Park Fitness didn’t miss a beat and shifted to online, live, and recorded lessons. We Zoomed and Facebook Lived together to stay healthy and connected.

As soon as it was allowed, they resumed socially distanced workouts outside. They rented a tent when it got too sunny and hot in the summer. They set up lights when it got too dark.

And then the return to indoors. Carefully planned, spaced out workout pods for everyone. Cleaning stations, ventilation upgrades, and tons (literally) of brand new toys to eliminate sharing of weights and other equipment.

Still FIVE STARS after 2-1/2 years with Park Fitness! Amazing fitness community offering virtual, outdoor and indoor workouts to fit my needs and comfort level. I've done all three - indoor is fully sanitized and distanced making me feel completely COVID safe. And I can work just as hard, see the same results, in the outdoor and virtual workouts as being in person in the gym. Had to update my review as I'm into my second year at the gym and I just experienced the best customer care EVER over COVID! The team at Park Fitness responded so quickly to restrictions and invented an entirely new model for doing exercise online and in a mirad of hybrid settings. Everything else is still true even in this new environment!!!

In January of this year, after several years of not working out, I decided to get myself back into the habit of working out. For the past 25+ years I had always enjoyed working out on my own, I was never into "group fitness" workouts. However, after reading comments about Park Fitness and speaking to others who had joined, I figured I could at least try it out. After a couple of workouts I was hooked. Danny, Joe, and MJ (the trainers) do an amazing job of creating a fun, encouraging, and super-positive environment for working out. Park Fitness is much more than just a workout facility - they always talk about a sense of community and that is what develops once you begin attending the classes. Each workout is very unique, combining strength, aerobic conditioning, and core exercises, and for each exercise move they offer several different options if that particular exercise is too difficult or causes discomfort. The workout sessions aren't long, approximately 20 minutes total, but the combination of exercise and intensity is more than enough for a solid workout. I have worked out here beside some super athletes, and I have worked out beside some folks who have probably never worked out before, but this is a judgment-free facility and everyone is incredibly encouraging and positive. It doesn't matter what level of fitness you are starting at, Park Fitness will get you in better shape than you are currently and you'll have a great time participating. I recommend for anyone, regardless of the physical shape you are in, to give Park Fitness a try and see for yourself what this place is all about.

Park Fitness just keeps getting better! They've completely adapted their space to make you feel comfortable working out indoors during these crazy COVID times. Inside is sectioned off with individual (appropriately distanced) work out zones all set with personal (and sanitized) equipment to use during class. There's hand sanitizer and wipes everywhere. I love that I'm still able to get a great workout and not have to compromise my safety while doing so. For those not comfortable with being indoors, but still miss the social aspect of a group class, they offer outdoor spots, Zoom meetings AND Facebook live workouts. This place is hands down the best gym ever.

I joined Park Fitness 3 years ago when they first opened in late 2017. I cannot say enough good things about the owners and how they operate this fitness center. It’s truly unlike any other gym I’ve ever worked out in. Each workout is personally crafted and tailored and works the full body, so you leave feeling amazing & energized. The classes are group workouts so you are engaging with other members, who, for me, have become friends. It is such a close-knit community of like-minded people. With that said, the age range goes from people in their 20’s to those in their 60’s & beyond. Everyone feels connected and able to do the exercises due to the way they are structured by the personal trainers. Updated review 09/10/2020 - In these COVID-19 days, Park Fitness takes the safety of all members to the highest level. The cleaning protocols are amazing and the gym is spotless. The workouts are still great with social distancing guidelines (inside and outside) met each and every time!

This was not only my first time here, but also my first group fitness class experience ever.

It was a lot of fun, and challenging, but not in an intimidating way at all. Every exercise has a modification to it that was well demonstrated, and the coaches gave good advice and easy tips during the exercises to keep you on form.

I’ve belonged to countless gyms over the years and never experienced anything like a Park Fitness workout in any of them. I’ve done Beachbody workouts that seemed intense and even yielded positive results but they still don’t come close to a Park Fitness workout. I stopped doing Beachbody consistently, mainly because I got bored, so I gained half the weight that I’d lost back. A dear friend had joined Park Fitness the previous year and looked and felt amazing. She encouraged me to try one class. Honestly, I wasn’t jazzed about a group workout. I like to do my thing and move on with my day. I had no idea what I was missing. The first class was intimidating at first but after the first 30 second round of jump squats, I couldn’t remember what I’d been anxious about. Everyone is focused on getting through their own round. When you come up to catch your breath there’s someone to offer an encouraging smile or a high five.The owners, Danny and Joe are usually the first ones to do so. Their unique approach to exorcise and personal coaching are the key. Within 3 or 4 workouts, I had more energy throughout my day. 12 workouts in, I’ve shaved a full minute off my pace on my runs. I feel stronger and happier. If you’re thinking about something new and better, try Park Fitness. I bet you end up loving it too.
