PG CrossFit (PGCF) is a strength and conditioning gym focused primarily on making functional fitness accessible to everyone. PGCF offers high quality, instructor-led small group classes, including, specialty powerlifting and Olympic weightlifting courses, competitive CrossFit training courses, gymnastics/bodyweight exercise seminars, and classes for special populations. PG CrossFit is conveniently located less than 5 minutes from the Capital Beltway (I-495) and 3 ½ miles from the University of Maryland. We have 4,150 square feet for CrossFit, weightlifting, and many other fitness activities.

I did a couple of drop ins here while I was in town. I was made to feel really welcome. I enjoyed the programming. Nice, clean box with good equipment and a water machine with cold water. I was happy to see diversity was embraced and celebrated here. Definitely check it out if you are in town!

The coaches are dedicated to helping YOU succeed however YOU can/are able to do it. They are patient and are happy to suggest modifications when you have limitations that don't allow you to complete the workouts as written. Also, the community events are on point!

This is such an awesome place to work out and it will get you in great shape. A lot of the exercises help develop mobility and well-rounded fitness which has helped to eliminate some neck/back pain I've had from desk work. The coaches are all incredibly kind, motivating and fun. It is a very positive place to work out and a super encouraging environment. All levels of fitness are represented and the workouts are easily scaled to all fitness levels. Definitely check it out!

It has been almost 12 months since I joined this family. All the coaches are great and the community is very welcoming. Always a fun place to be, even during the most challenging workouts. I highly recommend PG CrossFit. I started my CrossFit journey with the PG CrossFit family around April 2021. I have progressed tremendously and I look forward to the daily workouts. More of a community than a gym. A great place to get in shape and make new friends. It has a great high energy atmosphere that is welcoming to all fitness levels and backgrounds. You’ll come for the workouts and leave with a new set of friends that you call family. The programming is great with cycles to help you improve your fitness performance in a sustainable and measurable way. There are also open gym times where you can come in to do your own programming if you want. The coaches are all knowledgeable and will help you in all your unique fitness needs. Trying to get stronger? Wanting to cut down on weight? Looking to meet people in the area? Or are you just starting out on your fitness journey, looking for how to start? If so, this is the gym for you!

PG Crossfit isn’t just a gym for me. It’s become a 2nd home and the owners are family. The programming is versatile for any fitness level. We have D1 athletes and grandparents and still find ways to push everyone to their full potential. There is guidance for nutrition, mobility, and strength but most importantly just an overall supportive environment. You can just be yourself.

This is not just a CrossFit gym this is a welcoming community atmosphere that quick friendships develop. The coaches are amazing at making group classes feel individualized to all skill levels. Awesome place to work out. Great coaches with great people who you often make friends with quickly. A great place for all from first-timer to competitive CrossFitter. Workouts are challenging, but rewarding to get through and there’s always modifications available, if needed.

Transitioning from sedentary to active lifestyle can be tricky, but PG CrossFit specializes in meeting you where you are and helping you to grow! The coaches and athletes truly make this gym a unique and community oriented fitness experience. I've been coming off and on since participating in a challenge over the summer and most recently brought my wife in for a class. We had so much fun and everyone was so warm. I can't imagine a more open and fun place to work toward and crush those fitness goals! They offer classes and packages for most budgets and schedules which is a huge plus. I always feel better for having stopped in!

Great gym! Really great and dedicated coaches and owners.
They have showers and a towel service (for free) so you can shower after working out, on your way to work.
They also have lots of class hours and open gym to accommodate all kinds of schedules.

I had an amazing experience here. The atmosphere is welcoming and very encouraging! Will and Marissa are always prepared to help you react your goal and make it a point to get to know each person. Workouts were scaled if needed and they really pushed you to get to a point where you don’t need to scale the workout.

I’m new to CrossFit and returning to fitness in general after a long hiatus (3 years). I’ve been attending classes for a month now and I’m loving it. The coaches have helped me learn, not only how to perform the movements, but how to use my frame efficiently and safely (I’m 6’3, long arms and legs, short torso). They’ve also helped me set nutritional goals. All this within the context of a competitive yet supportive environment. The box is in a great spot if you’re looking for a location outside the city (minutes from 495/95 and route 1). Plus, they have showers for those of us heading to work after the WOD. Overall, It’s the best choice for me.

I live in the area and was excited to learn Beltsville was finally getting a CrossFit! The coaches are super friendly, fun, and knowledgeable. Sunday WODs are tough, but they follow it up with yoga which I love and need. They just opened, so now is a great time to learn fundamentals with fellow newbies. But if you already have experience, you can just do the WOD as posted. Great box!

Beltsville Crossfit is amazing! This gym is all about community—they want to build strong ties among their membership and help to forge some lasting friendships, all centered around a mutual appreciation for fitness. Beltsville Crossfit is a fantastic place to work hard and get results. Will and Marissa are really great coaches - they'll support you and push you to achieve your goals.
