I literally love this gym so much. My home gym is Waldorf but they aren’t open 24 hours everyday so this is gonna be my main gym for a while. I can’t wait to start seeing results. If you’re worried about too many people being there go at night time after 10 pm. During the day it’s usually a lot of people there and alot of equipment being taken up. Bathrooms are always clean and they mop the floors. Members are very helpful and they have a lot of drink choices. Thank you for being 24 hours everyday!!!

The gym is really nice and kept clean. I usually go around 4 PM, since it starts getting pretty crowded between 5–8 PM, and during that time it’s hard to find an open machine. Other than that, it’s a great gym overall — the membership fee is affordable compared to other gyms in the area. I just wish they had more Smith machines, because those are always taken when it’s busy.

I must say, unlike many other Planet Fitness locations, there is no discrepancy on cardio and weight equipment. They have divided the floor in two parts, one cardio, the other weights. My only gripe is that the location can become a little crowded and the men's bathroom is filthy which is surprising based on the location. I pray to God I never have to take a shower here. I probably would just go home and take one. It takes time from my errands but the bathroom is crazy.

This gym offers quite a bit of equipment. I really enjoy it. However there’s this one dude that goes everyday and hits on younger girls. Like barely 18. Came up to me, he’s 30-40 he tries to hit on girls at the gym. My husband came up and scared him off. But be careful girls. I’ve seen him wait in areas to talk to people, and even follow girls out. If you workout here, bring a friend. It’s literally not safe anywhere for us 🥲

Gym isnt bad . Weights often misplaced and things out of place in general. However the facilities are horrible. People take no pride in there gym here. I was hesitant about going here with COVID-19 still being prevalent, because this particular gym has not had a reputation of being "clean." Surprisingly, there was NO trash on floors in the gym area, locker rooms, or bathrooms. There was plenty of paper towels and disinfectant sprays around. It was definitely an UPGRADE from this time last year and earlier.

I am so frustrated with this particular planet fitness. During my No Judgement workout an employee purposely came over to disturb me by demanding that I put my shirt that I use for my head in the locker. I explained that I will not put my hair on the floor (I have caught a fungus in the gym before). Instead of understanding me she then went to a male employee to further enforce me to put a SHIRT (not a coat or heavier item in which I did not have) In a locker. Then threaten that they would banned me if I didn’t. I would like to speak with the corporate to further discuss this issue as this seems extreme. I have been a member of planet fitness for at least 7 years and in many different locations and I am very disappointed in this location.

I have been a member of Planet Fitness for almost 2 years now. Unfortunately, when I first joined I injured my meniscus and had surgery, immediately after that I caught Covid, and after that i developed bursitis in my shoulder and had to get injections and therapy. So after paying them for almost 9 months I finally made it to the Clinton location. I have not been in a gym in years so needless to say the equipment was very intimidating. I decided to just do a walk thru/orientation that day. The young lady at the front desk appeared annoyed when I asked questions as she was busy in personal conversation with a male co-worker. I attempted to put my personal belongings in a locker but could not figure out how to get my key out. A male staffer came over and offered assistance. I began to tell him about my injuries and concern with not knowing how to use the equipment. He said his name was Ali and he could set up personal training classes with me. We made a date and time to get started. He said I could bring my sister who was with me along for the session. I showed up very excited a couple days later for my session. When I asked the desk clerk where Ali was she said, “I think he’s on the floor.” I told her I had a training session with him and she said, “you can look around and find him.” I finally spotted him watching and instructing about 3-4 young ladies on equipment. When my sister and I approached him he claimed to have no memory of the meeting and didn’t have it on his calendar. He had no remorse and continued speaking with the other young ladies. I expressed my disappointment with the desk clerk and she said I could write a letter to the manager or write a letter canceling my membership.

I contemplated whether I should write this review or not. However, it has been on my mind all day and my heart is heavy. I have been with this planet fitness location for almost a year now as a new resident of Clinton. Every time I come, it is very clean, the people are generous, and the staff is welcoming. I am saddened that on April 22, 2024 I had a negative experience with an employee. I arrived to the gym around 5:15pm and began my mile run warmup… I was 0.70 miles into my run when I was approached by an employee mid run stating that I had to change my shirt… my shirt was not a crop top… it was not revealing it covered the entirety of my front and back. The only areas showing was the top half of my sides which were cut to allow airflow. I informed this employee that I have NEVER had an issue with this shirt here before and did not understand as to why it it a problem. I asked if I could finish my mile run before leaving, knowing I did not have a replacement shirt and was told no. I left the premises without any argument saddened. This experience not only made me feel unwelcome but as of now I do not feel comfortable working out at this location or any planet fitness location in the future.

💜I started my fitness journey with this location about a year before the pandemic. I abruptly stopped due to all the contact/general precautions we were force-fed by the media. Fast forward YEARS after, I finally decided it was time to get my health together and I’m so glad I did. The staff here are kind and supportive. It’s never crowded in here when I go. The ladies locker room and lavatories are delightfully kept. Get off the fence about changing your lifestyle; It’s a great way to combat the effects of the things we consume.💜

I enjoyed myself so much at my first visit to planet fitness here in Clinton, MD. I got so much help signing up and signing in from the managers at the front desk. Their personalities are wonderful and perfect for working in public. The place is very clean and even in January with a full parking lot it is spacious with lots of room on the equipment and no waiting to go on anything. It's been over a decade since I've been to a gym so there were a lot of new machines for me to try out and they had great instructions on each one. I got a total reverse shoulder replacement last July so I made sure to start out with very lightweights to build up my strength. Can't wait for my next visit!

Love it!! Its a unity-feeling environment with a wide variety of folks training, Silver Seniors, young adults, all putting in the sweat equity. I like the staff members, all friendly !! Other members eagerly assist you if you look a little lost, as well as, encourage you week to week when they see you coming in. I have been working out at this gym since school ended in June with the trainer Ali 5 days a week. With his dedication to his job, I have dropped four pants sizes. He pushes us to work hard, eat right, and at the end of each class, he tells us what a great job we have done. Now that school is back in session, I'm there 2 days a week and still maintaining the weight loss. I highly recommend anyone to check out the schedule for Ali's classes because it's worth it!!

I love Planet Fitness. The workers are nice and ensure that everything is stocked up and sanitized. So many options of equipment to choose from and they even have tutorials on how to use it. I never see any bad customer service like in this club. 2 weeks calling every single day asking them to transfer me to another club every time they promise that they will take care of it but it's never done. I was in Onelife fitness I regret to change to this company. I would not recommend this gym. Although the staff is friendly and keep the gym floor clean, this gym is starting to go down. The equipment is constantly breaking down and it does not seem to be a priority to get it fix. The equipment stays broken for weeks which will impact your workout because you can not use certain machines. The other issue with this gym is that they refuse to turn on the AC. It gets extremely hot in there especially during these hot summer days. I was in there yesterday and they did not have the fans on at all. It was in the 90’s yesterday and there should be no reason why the fans should be off. I think they try to reserve electricity and not turn on the AC to a level to cool the building. The urinal in the men’s bathroom is constantly broke which is a huge inconvenience. I think management refuses to invest money to keep this gym up to decent standards.

The good: Staff is generally pleasant and helpful and the members that visit are friendly and respectful.

The bad: The air is never sufficiently cool in the weights area. Today, it was 92 degrees outside and the ceiling fans weren’t even on. It’s ridiculous to have the facility so hot whole people are exercising.

The ugly: Equipment is consistently out of service. Some stay broken for weeks at a time. When you have limited equipment, leaving machines out of service really is unacceptable.

While some things are out of management control (can’t prevent equipment needing repair), the cooling definitely is. Please make the gym comfortable so people can actually breathe!!!
