Been coming to this location since it opened this past year. This is hands down my favorite of all the ones I have been to, which has been a lot all across the US. IT IS SMALL, but there are also a lot less people. By small I mean only one of each weight equipment and no 30 minutes workout section. There are bigger ones in the area, but this one is brand new and never really crowded. It has started to get more crowded as it gets out how nice and convenient this location is, but still better then the other locations.

The negative reviews are often people complaining about PR in general, not specifically this location. There are a few reviews that complained about the temperature, and that was an issue. For a while it was so cold in there it felt like a refrigerator, but they seem to have that under control now.

Just a warning: if you want your change your payment method, you have to update your entire routing/checking number and not just add a new credit/debit card.

Planet fitness' wording on their website is very misleading. A credit/debit card is called a "backup payment", so one would assume thier system would immediately charge your card if the routing failed. That's not the case. Your card will be charged a day or two later AFTER a late fee was added!!! I was being charged $35-45 every month! Even worse, you'll never receive any type of notification or email that your being charged a late fee...

Nothing against this gym personally, it's well maintained and the staff are great. I just believe planet fitness corporate is purposely deceptive by not being forthcoming with guest.

FYI you CAN cancel online (desktop browser only) despite planet fitness making to seek like you can only do so at your home club.

This is not a "Billing issue", but poor policy placed by planet fitness corporate. What i stated in my review is 100% accurate, and any guest assuming their backup payment will cover thier monthly fees if thier routing fails will 100% BE CHARGED A LATE FEE!!! I doubt your club is going to resolve this with a chat.
Please look on reddit to see how common of an issue this is.

Used to be my go to gym for value and price. I found out this morning they have been charging me almost double for the same membership for months. There is a backup payment option on file that has NOT MISSED A single payment. I call the front desk to see what's going on with this to be told to stop being so rude. You have no clue what rude is. I spoke sternly about being RIPPED off by your company. I EXPECT a refund for the completely unnecessary double charges. Oh and I have to wait until 10am when the manager comes in before I can request a refund for the false charges from this business. Future reference front desker, when people have their money messed with they won't speak politely. KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN RUDE AND SPEAKING STERNLY OVER THE ISSUE.

I just moved to Eldersburg I been going to this location everyday for 3 months never a issue. I enjoyed it. My husband in the military created this account for us. Today I was told i am not able to Come to the gym without my husband present.
Everyday i am greeted and everyone is nice to me but today was different. I guess it’s a policy??? Never knew Now my husband and i will be looking for a new gym. I was very pleased with this location until today. This is only my experience and i am disappointed and hurt.

Was very happy to have planet fitness closer to home! Overall the vibe is great. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming. Only complaint is the air conditioning. Because the gym opened during the winter, we’re just now experiencing this. It CANNOT keep up during the hot summer days. It’s humid and roasting in the gym. If it was over 80° be prepared to roast. Especially certain corners have no air flow. If the pre existing system can’t be expanded, there should def be more ceiling cassettes added. Other than that, happy with this location!

I usually don’t leave reviews, but I had to give a shout out to an outstanding PF employee named Priscilla. She is exactly the type of person that you want representing your establishment. She is absolutely 100% professional, friendly, helpful and kind hearted. I go to many different planet fitness locations throughout the week and she always makes my visit that much better…. Even on the dreaded leg day.

Nice gym. Staff is cool. Good amount of strength training and cardio equipment. I like how the strength training machines tell you how many reps (repetitions) and the amount of rest time which is a plus! The bathroom with the locker rooms are perfect. I recommend this PF location in Eldersburg.

Probably the coolest planet fitness I’ve been too. Doesn’t give the average PF vibe. It’s laid back, everyone is cool not super crowded. Other Local gyms got nothing on this.

I love this gym. It has so much weightlifting equipment, and of course cardio equipment; which is a plus.
The employees have been very nice to me. I was able to get a really good workout here and I'm looking forward to going often.
I have waited years for a gym to open in the eldersburg location that was affordable and actually worth going to. This is exactly that. It is finally here.

Just so everyone is aware, the owners of this location believe it is acceptable to send a mobile billboard truck to a local, family-owned competitor's parking lot to advertise the opening of their gym.

Granted, I'd expect nothing less from the owners of a Planet Fitness, but to be this unethical before your business even opens? That's a new low.
