Great place, but too loud 📢. Idk why they're blasting their music louder than a night club on Friday night. This force people to up the volume of their headphones & earbuds which in result damages our ear drums.

They need to calm down, it's not a night club. I shouldn't hear y'all music when my headphones is at 70% volume.

This was my home gym but I decided to not come to this branch because their is a employee named Chamisa she is uneducated and doesn't know how to speak to paying customers. I came in to work out and ask planet fitness a question as soon as she saw me enter with my scooter she yelled and me and told me o naaaa you need to park that outside with a attitude she didn't even greet me as a normal educated person should greet their clients. I was gonna complain about her but she beat me to the punch and complained about me to her boss GM Jamie and assistant Maddie so I've been banned from wheaton branch because of her disrespectful self.i love Maddie she's great. Jaime needs to retrain their staff and he himself needs to learn how to treat paying customers .

If I could give negative stars I would!
This location is not worth your money. Go to LA Fitness, or just workout at home.

The associates I’ve come in contact with are very discriminative. I have been to many Planet Fitness locations throughout the area and this one always seems to give me issues.

A team member with the last name Martinez insisted that I was not the owner of my account. I tried to show her multiple times that I am, and she refused to hear me out. She also went as far as to take her name tag off so I could not see her name. She called the authorities and had me band for trespassing. Stating she wanted to keep her gym safe.. whatever that was suppose to mean.

I was a loyal customer for about 5 years, and this location was convenient for me. She went out of her way to have me band because of a misunderstanding or in her words “safety” matters.

I do not recommend this gym. I hope something can be done about the people left in charge in the future so this doesn’t happen to anyone else.

This is not my first incident, just the most recent.

I will be taking legal action.

I called and requested to have my account frozen for a couple of months while I was out of the country, but I was still charged the following month. When I called, the first employee didn’t know how to handle the issue, and after being transferred, the next person put me on hold twice. The overall tone felt dismissive and unhelpful as well.

While I was eventually refunded for the mistaken charge, they refused to take responsibility for the bank penalty their error caused. It’s disappointing to see such a lack of accountability and professionalism, especially at a newer gym. Sadly, it already feels like the place is headed in the wrong direction.

Great staff and cardio machines are always open. Is there any time limit for the bench and squat racks. It’s almost impossible to get the squat/bench rack. I only need to use it 20-30 minutes.

To whom it may concern,
We are members of planet fitness and have been for some time. We are " black card members," We both go and workout together,  I come into the gym as her guest. We were visiting the location in Wheaton Maryland, and we both came into the gym. My wife checked us in and she had to leave the gym and would be back in a few minutes. I proceeded to start my workout and after 10 minutes a staff member named Khalifae Gray came over to me during my workout and escorted me out of the gym. It was handled in a rude way, like I was a criminal or had done something illegal. I am aware of your policy but the way I was treated, as we are paying guests is unbelievable.  I hope he learns how to treat paying guests. Unreal. We are looking for other gyms.

The water fountain has been broken for almost a month now, one of the toilets in the men’s restroom is currently broken, and just this past weekend the air conditioning in the gym was broken…it’s summer! This gym repeatedly has things broken!

Terrible customer service!!
I was being charged $45 due to a late penalty for three months, and when I called to ask why, I was told it was because I didn’t have a recurring payment set up—even though I had been getting charged $45 every month (and one time was charged $64) They then gave me a number to call for Member Services. Member Services told me they didn’t see any payment method on file and referred me back to the store.

If you’re on auto-payment, I highly recommend double- and triple-checking the monthly amount being withdrawn—that’s the only reason I even caught this issue.

Overall, terrible customer service from both the store location and Member Services.

All new (Matrix) machines at this location. The ellipticals are not very intuitive. Still figuring them out. I am a Silver Sneakers guy. Basic membership comes with my Medicare Advantage, which gives me free access. Not all locations participate. I upgraded to Black Card at half price ($8/mo). This lets me use the tanning and massage chairs and gives me access to any Olanet

I just went in for the first time and was greeted by a super friendly Lia at the front desk. My home club was all wrong, and after following the steps to correct it I hadn’t made any progress. A friend who had just joined that day invited me as a guest because she didn’t want to go alone and it was her first time. So, being the good friend that I am, I came along for the ride since she had the “PF Black Card” membership. I told her I was not looking to do a full-fledged workshop once we got there since I did one early morning outside. So, we decided to try the 30-minute strength training section, where you go from one machine to the next for 30 seconds. Okay, I knew I needed to incorporate strength training for muscle mass into my weekly training, but I didn’t realize how badly I needed to do it. I moved slowly as I got off each piece of equipment and had the weights on the lowest setting (don’t judge me). When we finished, we had the pleasure of meeting one of the staff members named Antonio, who saw how we were moving and took us back into the PF Black Card Spa section. He did a great job explaining how all the equipment worked and the benefits once you finish working out. The one piece of equipment we both were drawn to was the “HydroMassage bed.
Along with the cleanliness of the gym and bathrooms, great lighting, friendly staff, good music, variety of TVs while on the machines, and the multiplicity of different equipment, this one piece of equipment sold me. As the saying goes, “Stick a pin in me, and I was done.” OMG, I felt all the bumps and kinks leave my body from that workout.

Worst location and worst experience ever as this gym is nearby High School. Youngster kids are always wondering around. I have the black card VIP membership; however, the club manager Jamie broke into my meditation with an unpleasant manner as he stated two non member youngster kids reported me using the meditation machine. The Club Manager (Jamie) stated this is my house my rule. This is ridiculous the way how they treat their customer, specially (Jamie) said this to their customer. I immediately called the corporate reporting Jamie's discrimination behavior. I received a call the next day from a different location stated the regional manager will call me back to escalated my concern, then no one follow up. Stay away from Planet Fitness and do not go for this cheap fitness center.

This place is always clean. The equipment is what you expect for a PF but there is benches + dumbell racks which some other places lack. It can get really crowded at around 6 PM but as long as you go at the right times you’ll have a great time!

This gym has potential if they comply with their own regulations. I love PF for the affordability, simple equipment and BC benefits. What I disliked tremendously about this gym is the amount of underaged/minors walking around, mugging people, being loud,
not working out, taking up machines, not whipping anything down and acting like .. well .. children (because its what they are). Minors are required to have their parents on site as they work out and its obviously not the case for this location (but I could be wrong but considering I see a small number of adults to children , I doubt I’m wrong). This gym has so much potential to be a much nicer environment because the machines are new and the place seems cleaner than other locations but the kids running around … Its a no.

This place is a planet fitness and it lives up to its name. It is very clean and convenient. It does live up to judgement free. People just do their own things. The only thing I don't like is that there are no squat machines but they are Smith machines but those are different and I don't prefer them. Also there are no rowing machines. The machines they have are very simple. I am a Crossfiter and the only things I can use are the pull up bar, treadmill and dumbbells. This gym is not Crossfit or body builder friendly but is a good gym for simple people that want a workout at an affordable price.

No longer felt that PF is a judgment free zone after interactions with the females that work in the morning. Cold and unwelcoming demeanor kills motivation instantly.
Several broken machines, that are not being tagged properly when something is mentioned to staff. Some of the staff need a refresher session on cleaning and hospitality.

Going to miss Stephon and Gaby: they are the coffee you didn't know you needed in the morning.

Really appreciate the amount of floor space and the way the spaces are divided. Staff is absolutely amazingly courteous, positive, and friendly. Super clean and members also keep the place tidy.
