We did one season at Power Athletics, and unfortunately my work location changed and my schedule was screwed up, so I had no way to get my daughter there for practices, due to the distance from my house. We joined a gym closer to my home, and I found myself constantly regretting having to leave Power. You can get tumbling classes at any gym, but one thing that stood out to me about Power is that first of all, they are heavy on appearance and representation. The uniforms are outstanding, and I love the fact that when the athletes from Power entire a room, all eyes are on them. Just beautiful. At our new gym it was all about the money. The uniforms were minimal for all the teams except the levels 5 and 6 where they focus all their attention on. The uniforms they had our children wear were humiliating and cheap. And yes, it does matter to us. If I'm paying $400 a month on cheer tuition, I expect to represent my gym on many aspects. Great job POWER!!!!
