It has been a little bit over a month since my yoga journey with Audrey started, but what progress we have made! Through our private lessons, she patiently walks me through different movements and techniques that I never imagined I can do. She gives valuable input and encourages me to challenge myself. Post lessons, I always feel accomplished both mentally and physically. Iβm very excited to see what our future lessons hold!

I first starting coming to Power in Breath Yoga in 2022. Iβve attended yoga workshops, yoga classes, strength classes, and am now doing personal strength training sessions with Audrey. The personal strength training sessions are a game changer! Before my first personal strength training session, she asked me what my goals were. She genuinely cares about me as a person and tailors our sessions to meet these goals. I love that we can focus on both my strengths and weaknesses without judgement. I highly recommend Audrey if you want to get started with strength training. Her personal sessions help build your confidence to lift heavy things, which we all need to be doing as we get older!

I've been taking the strength training class on Monday nights regularly for about half a year now. I did not have much experience with weight or resistance training but wanted to increase my strength and muscle mass. I enjoy this class and it has really helped me meet my goals. I feel stronger than I have in decades. Audrey is a very effective teacher. She effortlessly accommodates different levels in the class and gets to know her students and is able to effectively help people find movements that work for them.

Finally a yoga/strength training instructor who focuses on building a solid foundation for her students/clients and strategically adding onto our training to ensure coordinated and well rounded strength. Even intermediate and advanced students benefit from her methodical and deconstructed approach. She literally has us work on each of the building blocks of a certain movement, eg. pull up, squat, etc, before putting it all together to ensure we are engaging the correct muscles in the correct form. Audrey is very knowledgeable and observant, noticing and modifying movements/exercises for each student. If you show up to class consistently, you'll start feeling the difference in just a handful of sessions.

I went to Audrey for five private lessons in an attempt to become more active after severe lower back pain. I realized that I was a challenging client because there were several poses that I was unable to do. Fortunately, Audrey was very understanding and compassionate and said just the right words to keep me going. I was very impressed by her positivity and by the alternatives that she presented, including breathing exercises (pranayama) that have been extremely helpful, both for body and soul. Audrey is a remarkable instructor with ample experience and vast knowledge and I highly recommend her.

I have been going to Power in Breath for about 2 years and I absolutely love it!! I was a beginner so everything was new to me and Audrey was and is so patient w/everyone. She takes the time to show you other poses if you are unable to do the ones that are being instructed. You have the option of going to her studio or on zoom, which works out really well if you are on the road. I cannot say enough good things about Power in Breath!!

A few months ago after receiving some not great news from my orthopedic surgeon that I could potentially go back to surgery if my flexibility did not improve, I reached out to Audrey with Power in Breath Yoga. I live in Missouri now but knew Audrey well from our time living in Silver Spring. She created 5 personalized zoom sessions for me to help with hip flexibility. At my next visit, my surgeon was very impressed. I'm still working through the videos that she created for my forever use and hope to return to more personalized sessions or be able to return to complete in person yoga here in Mo in the future. Audrey is AMAZING!!
I reached out to her after experiencing a very painful and challenging shoulder injury amongst other health issues.
I was unable to attend my regular group yoga lessons or my weekly swims at a gym I belonged to.
I started private lessons with Audrey this June. Having lost all confidence due to my current health situation, Audrey was just the boost I needed. She was kind, patient, so very encouraging and seemed to have an uncanny knack in planning the perfect lesson plans for me.
The confidence and hope my interactions with Audrey have given me cannot be underestimated. If anyone out there is sitting on the fence, I cannot recommend enough that you jump off that fence and let Audrey help transform your mental and physical health.

I read all of the above reviews and I agree with every single one of them. I have my own little bit to add here. A year ago I never would have believed that I can do what I now can do. That includes flexibility and strength. I didn't even really believe Yoga was a "thing." It is a thing! Audrey and Power In Breath Yoga have gently, (sometimes) firmly, and always consistently shown their support and encouragement. If you are considering a yoga practice at any level or wondering if it might help you, this is the practice to try, in my opinion.

Audrey is an excellent yoga teacher. A great communicator, she is always able to talk you through modifications for certain poses if you need them. Audrey ensures you get the most out of all of her yoga classes. I love taking the live classes on zoom from the comfort of my home. If I can't make a live class, a recording is always sent and I can take the class on my own time, even if I am traveling.

Audrey is AWESOME, and I truly enjoy her yoga classes, whether in person, via zoom or video recording. She is encouraging and patient, especially for those of us with less flexible bodies or those newer to the practice of yoga. I've been practicing at Power in Breath Yoga for 6 months. I enjoy one to two 5-mile runs a week and attend boot camps which include many core and endurance drills. I can feel a significant improvement in my ability to get through the drills in my boot camp classes and my runs feel easier since beginning my yoga practice. I'm so pleased with these results and I'm so excited to continue to get a stronger core!
