I like the classes and the instructors at the gym. I am VERY displeased by the fact that you have a recycling bin in the gym for plastic bottles but DON'T actually recycle. I over heard the owners son talking about it and when I enquired about it, he told me no one picks it up anymore.
FYI...there is a recycle bin not far from the gym behind the middle school on Jersey Rd.

Powerhouse is my favorite gym and I haven't been able to replace it since I moved out of the area. I used to love the women's room, though I hear that is no longer a part of Powerhouse. The fitness classes are great and plentiful. The gym is clean and well-maintained.

Friendly staff great staff, gym is well equipped, beyond any other I seen, prices are the best there is in Wicomico, Sussex, Worchester counties, and that is for being so well equipped I like thank Tony and Vince for great experience there and being friendly to me.

I was traveling and was planning on buying a guest pass for planet fitness. They wanted 20 dollars. For one day of working out that's absolutely pathetic. I drove the extra couple of minutes to powerhouse and got my pass for 12 dollars. Tons of equipment, great workout, 10/10 would recommend.

If I could give no stars I would. Ive been here 3 times to try out the group classes and the first 2 were ok not really welcoming by anyone in the entire gym not even the instructors. This is last time was the worst. The price has been $5 since I've been coming today they said it was 12. which would have done if the girl nor him were rude. I got there no one that worked there was was in sight. So after class I went to counter to pay and that's when the guy and girl were both rude. I didn't have to stop and pay I could've just walked out. I was trying to do the right thing and all I got was utter rudeness. And yes they are discriminatory no other ethnicity works there as an employee and the first 3 times I saw no ethnicity working out which was after 5, this morning there 7 total members working out of other ethnicity - which speaks to the fact that powerhouse is unfriendly to any other ethnicity.

Just called about a membership Erin didn't know how many classes they offered so Ray gets on the phone he hangs the phone up on me then I call back and tell him that he just hung up on me. He says well what do u want? I assure him I was calling about the membership classes he says he guess that they have 11 or so classes. I'm not happy with the Customer service.

This gym is always evolving and listens to their members' concerns. Classes are awesome and there are always new ones being added to the schedule. Powerhouse always has something for everyone. Great child care as well!

Clean, friendly front desk staff, many classes available, and a wide variety of new and updated equipment. I love that it is 24/7, and the overnight staff is wonderful. I usually go between 11PM - 4AM, and they are always cleaning and organizing the weights.

I have two complaints. One is that the personal trainers have not called back. I've left my number twice with two different front desk staff in the past month and a half, and they still have yet to contact me.

My second complaint is that gym etiquette is not enforced there. A lot of patrons leave their weights around. Many also expect that they can use several pieces of equipment at a time during peak hours. Even if you offer to let them work in, MANY of the gym members will scoff at you and/or complain loudly around you even if you've only been using something for <5 minutes. I've seen one older gentleman expect use of the power rack, a specific cable, and free weights (which he left all over the floor) during a full gym. Another time, a lady complained for not being able to use both the squat rack and the smith machine directly behind it at the same time. I understand wanting to superset, but coming to the gym during peak hours and expecting to have everything available is silly.

Sometimes I have seen a childrens sports team in the main gym. The coaches or chaperones did not watch them at all, and they played on the equipment dangerously. I specifically saw two boys, probably under 12 years old, loading up at least 25lbs plates on one of the iso shoulder machines and one boy pushed while the other stood outside of the machine and pulled the weight up.

I've also seen people eat out of tupperware in the free weight area.

Last time i went to the gym was about four days ago. I pay $35 for guest privileges and i came in tonight around 12 and the door was locked then the guy tells me that a new policy didnt allow guess in after 11. I recieved no notification about this at all. I live like 45 miles away and i wasted my time and gas to come just to be told i couldnt bring a guess passed 11 pm. Why wasnt i notified and if thats the case i expect a lower monthly payment if i cant bring a guest anytime i want.

I use Powerhouse Gym in Seaford and the Sweat program. I enjoy the people that use the gyms d employees, everyone is so pleasant and friendly. The Sweat classes are challenging and have helped me get into top physical shape. Everyone is so supportive wand encouraging,just like family.

Keep receiving emails from them thanking me for my visit and asking me to refer a friend. I've never been and would never go. I emailed them to ask how they got my info, no response. Instead, they started spamming my husband as well. Very disturbing. The marketing girl needs to go. You don't just pull people's info out of a hat. This isn't marketing, it's harassment.

I have been a member for 15+ years. Always improving and updating the gym equipment, facility and condition. Very bright, CLEAN and friendly environment. Many classes for all levels of activity. I highly recommend this gym.
