There's no place in the Frederick/Carroll County area that will give a better experience than Primedy. I had back and knee issues, and I am happy to tell you that Andrew has drastically improved my mobility. Not to mention, their nutrition program is top notch. HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend!

I was a member of the big purple gym for two years. It was a big room filled with equipment and you just did what you thought you should do. After those two years, I can't say that I made any progress in my weight scale metrics, and wasn't sure why. After going through a consultation with Andrew and Elizabeth at Primedy I began to understand a bit more. Although I was comfortable with exercise, the lack of structure or specific goals kept me from making progress; I was lifting weights for the sake of lifting weights. Primedy's functional focus gets you results that you can see and work in the real world. I also love the small class format; it's a fun group but not so many that you're lost in the crowd. My next step is to dive into my diet and some of my habits (doom scrolling at night, ugh) that are keeping me from being my best. If you truly want to make a change and just not check a box, this is the gym for you 🔥

I hadn’t set foot in a gym for more than two decades before giving Primedy a shot. The instructor led Endeavor classes are perfect for beginners or experienced gym-goers alike. Andrew and his team are friendly, energetic, knowledgeable, great teachers, and (most importantly to me) they are able to meet you where you’re at. Whether you are unfamiliar with the mechanics of an exercise or are recovering from an injury, the folks at Primedy will tailor your workout to challenge you in a safe way that sets you up to succeed and see real improvement. The facility is spacious and clean with ample gear, the atmosphere is friendly and encouraging, and the pricing structure is both very reasonable and super flexible to meet your budgetary or time constraints. I never thought I’d be the type of person that looks forward to going to the gym, but Primedy has made me a fan.

I love that I get a full body workout every time.
I have had a few muscular issues to work through. The ability to tailor the workout to my needs and the “mobility bar” therapeutic approach have been extremely helpful. If I didn’t have individualized help and attention working through these issues I definitely would have quit by now.
My kids love the Rise program and beg to come with me.
All in all it has been a great experience so far!

This gym is like having a personal trainer, physical therapist, and coach all for cheaper than the cost of a yoga class. I have never liked working out in a gym until now. And the people are amazing! Can’t say enough good about this gym.

I am thoroughly impressed by this gym. I love the focus on form and proper body mechanics as well as recovery. Coach Andrew’s programming is tough, but always scalable for all skill levels. My husband and I both attend and this gym is exactly what we have been looking for! Love the group camaraderie and support!

I've been coming here for about a month and I love it so far! I think Andrew has figured out the secret sauce with this class-based gym model. I'm actually motivated to go to class, and can already feel the difference. The atmosphere has been really welcoming. When I started at Primedy I also had concerns about re-injuring myself but that's never been a worry here - Andrew has placed a huge focus on practicing good form to make sure the movements are doable and safe for everyone at different levels. Everyone is friendly and the variety of workouts keep things interesting while we pay attention to different muscle groups and functionalities in the Endeavor classes. The gym is clean and you'll always get the equipment you need.
As someone who was never really successful at "normal gyms" or even with a different personal trainer in the past, I can see how this format is the way to go. I'm excited to see how I'll feel after coming here for longer, after I've put in some more time.

Andrew and his staff are great! He is a wealth of knowledge regarding nutrition and body mechanics, and helps you get leaner and stronger safely and efficiently. Workouts vary day-to-day so you never get bored. Whether you are new to working out or trying to get back into shape, Primedy Health Club is a great place to start!

I personally started working with Andrew and his staff because I was having back problems. Andrew showed me exercises and stretches that helped relieve my back pain immediately. I was so impressed with him and his team I had him work with both of my kids. He helped them build strength and speed. He is also gave them a nutrition plan. As a parent your kids think we are full of it. Andrew gave them a plan and held them accountable and both of my kids saw the results. My daughter play competitive sports and could see how the plan Andrew laid out for her was helping her improve on the field. She was stronger faster and more confident. If you are old and broken down like me or have kids who want more strength and speed Andrew is your guy.
