I joined Pure Barre Olney in October 2020. The workouts are challenging and never get easier. The community is very supportive with every fitness journey celebrated! I am in the studio about 5 times a week. This commitment provides me with a fantastic fitness level. It is the foundation that makes me rock!

Through the chaos of my own personal, professional, and academic life the past several years, Pure Barre Olney has provided an outlet for me. 50 minutes that I can turn my brain off to the outside world and focus on myself. The instructors bring the energy every day, no matter the time, and are so supportive! The environment created at PBO is everyone pushing themselves, and those around them, to be the best versions of themselves.

I’ve tried multiple pure barre studios in the area and PB Olney is easily the most welcoming and most supportive of them. I love the friendliness and supportiveness of all the instructors and clients. My only wish is for a few more evening classes and a few more define and empower classes in the evenings, but overall, it’s a great studio and I love being a never.

Been going to Pure Barre Olney for about a year and I regret nothing! I was never a fan of the gym and was looking more for a whole class type of setting. I enjoy taking classes here and the instructors are awesome. The instructors and the other clients are very welcoming and are there for you. I have noticed significant changes with my physique and overall mentality thanks to PBO.

Pure Barre Olney offers 4 different class styles - classic, empower (more cardio), define (weight lifting), and align (streching/yoga). All are full-body, 50 minute group classes with an incredible instructor and fun music. No class is the same, making it impossible to get bored. While it takes a minute to learn the lingo and get comfortable with barre's small movements, you'll find that as your technique gets better, you work even harder, and get more and more out of class. Every body is built for barre, and the low impact, high intensity style is great for building muscle, burning fat, and strengthening your whole self. Even better, the community at Pure Barre Olney is incredibly warm, inviting, encouraging, and positive. It's my favorite place to go, disconnect from outside stresses, and feel better about myself!

Today marks my one year of classes at PBO and the unequivocal truth is that finding barre has changed my life in more ways than one. The physical benefits are amazing but this studio is now my sanity & my happy place. Can’t recommend PBO more!

Pure Barre is a 50 minute total body workout. Every class challenges and strengthens your body. The results are fast and long-lasting. Definitely check them out!

I love Pure Barre Olney! I had no idea what I was walking into in February 2024 and it stuck! The instructors are all dedicated and supportive as they gently make sure my form is correct and effective. My fellow barre mates are my people! We are there for each other every class. The exercises challenge me constantly but in a good way. ❤️

I haven’t been here in almost 3 years but continue to get charged monthly. You’d think they would have noticed and tried to contact me to see if I’m continuing vs continuing to charge me. I had thought it was paying off a balance until I realized it was new recurring charges monthly. They now won’t refund me but I haven’t gone to any classes or been a member there since 2022.

I love, love, Pure Barre Olney! I feel so fortunate to have found this gem of a Studio. The instructors are wonderful. Each of them are dedicated to providing a challenging, tough and upbeat whole body workout! That Lift, Tone, Burn is no joke! The Studio is clean, bright and inviting. I love the 6am classes, the Stuido provides a great combo of Classic, Align and Define. I walk in half asleep and walk out energized, stronger and more flexible. Thank you PBO for creating such a community of amazing people getting stroger together.

I have been going to PBO for one year and a half and still counting. The work out is perfect to me: it’s moderately challenging and effective, but not strenuous, so I can work out nearly every day. As a person with a sedentary job, it’s important to me to feel engaged to work out most of the days. PBO is great in keeping their clients motivated with monthly challenges and raffle games based on the number of classes attended. The instructors at PBO are simply amazing: professional, knowledgeable, welcoming, attentive and friendly, always trying to accommodate the clients’ requests. During the classes, they check everyone’s posture to correct it and suggest modifications, if needed. The PBO studio is clean and nicely shaped and, unless classes are particularly overcrowded, everyone can find a nice spot to work out. At the moment PBO studio offers all 4 different PB formats: Classic, Empower, Define and Align. However, not all formats are available for the afternoon classes. In fact, the only downside of PBO is that, despite the many classes in the morning, there is very limited choice in the afternoon/evening. Overall, the positives outweigh the negatives, and I recommend PBO.

I absolutely love Pure Barre! The 50-minute classes are challenging but incredibly rewarding. The fun, encouraging environment keeps me motivated throughout the workout. The studio is always clean, and all the teachers are both helpful and knowledgeable. By following their cues, I’ve definitely seen amazing results. Highly recommend Pure Barre for anyone looking to improve their fitness!

Great studio and exercise. Its just what I was looking for - the moves are small but hard; you won't be dripping with sweat but you'll definitely break a sweat. I feel so alert and stronger after each class. Great core, legs, and butt exercises. And no, you don't prance around like ballerinas (if you thought that may happen :) ). Highly recommend.

Life changing. Seriously the best thing I’ve ever done for myself. I haven’t LOVED a workout program (and I’ve tried a ton!) that has kept me wanting to come back day after day until I found pure barre Olney. There’s a little bit of a learning curve in the very beginning, but the Instructors all use gentle corrections until you become familiar. And once you’re used to the flow of class and the moves, it’s incredible. Everyone is so friendly, every instructor is amazing, and Laura (the owner) makes everyone feel like family. Studio is always super clean as well which is reassuring during current times! Highly recommend.

Love PBO! ❤️ I have done barre for 6+ years at many different studios and Pure Barre has been my favorite hands down. The staff are all really welcoming and encouraging and the quality of each class is great. I have had chronic pain for years and this is the only workout that has actually helped decrease pain—probably because of the core strength I have built!
Highly recommend! One tip - plan to book in advance. Like everywhere else, COVID restrictions make class space limited but I always get in the ones I want with a little planning.
