If you want a great gym thatβs tough but has community, Reflex is the place for you. Iβve been going for over a year now and ever since the trial, I knew I found my new gym home in the area. I love the opportunity to hit the sauna after class and the open gym format if you want to work out while classes are going on provides a great balance. If I could give 10 stars I would. Every trainer has their own style but youβll always get a good sweat in.

Iβve been to hundreds of gyms/ fitness classes, but Reflex is in a league of its own. Every workout is extremely challenging, yet enjoyable, and you leave exhausted, yet wanting to come back the next day. Great experience. I enjoyed the Strength and Conditioning class with 3 different workouts per station in a group of 3. Love the way itβs set up to push yourself and your team. Coach Reese is very supportive - rooting for you by name and encouraging you to go harder. The sauna post-workout was the perfect way to complete the visit. Highly recommend!

Made it back to Baltimore for my 20th year high school reunion, and wanted to try out a fitness class in my hometown! Working out has only became a passion of mine since I moved away, and itβs crazy to think that Iβve tried classes in other cities including NYC and Seattle, but nothing in Baltimore.
RFF had great reviews already, and it was convenient to sign up for via the MINDBODY app. They also allow a 1 week free trial, and parking was convenient which I was nervous about in the city. Made it to a 9am Saturday HIIT class with Reese, and it was fire!! Loved how I was able to get a good sweat on in only 45 minutes. Highly recommend.

This gym is a terrific experience. The classes are challenging but enjoyable and cater to every fitness level. Each of the instructors put a lot of thought and structure into the workouts and keep you motivated while providing a supportive environment! Iβve been at reflex for the past 8 months, I can truly say this is the BEST gym iβve been to in a long time. The coaches are fantastic and truly encourage you to get the workouts done at your level. Itβs reasonably priced, has plenty of classses scheduled throughout the day, and at a very convenient location. If youβre looking for a great gym look no further!
2024 Update: My opinion has not changed. The classes and the coaches are fantastic, all levels of fitness are welcome. Youβre encouraged to do your best but also take breaks and go at your pace when needed. They have class pack options for those who may not reap the full benefits of the unlimited membership. Due to my schedule I have had to switch between unlimited classes and the class packs offered, and each time it has been easy! For as long as I am in Baltimore, I will be attending Reflex.

I have been a member of Reflex Functional Fitness for over five years. It is truly one of the best decisions that I have made to help take care of myself. I have gone through several serious health issues and working with Reese, Amanda, and Jenn has helped me to regain the strength that I had lost, including cognitively.
I absolutely enjoy the fun and easy atmosphere of Reflex, while Reese keeps the exercises brisk and focused. I laugh even as I work hard to learn, master, and perform the challenging and effective workouts he creates.
His teaching skills are great. He demonstrates each routine and repeats the instructions for those of us who may need extra help.
Alongside Reese as instructors are Amanda Ashe and Jenn Cornish. These women are phenomenal, I am so glad to see them inspire and lead the classes.
I have and will continue to recommend Reflex Functional Fitness. It is a tremendous gym with an outstanding focus on health, wellness, family, and fun.

I checked out reflex today and had a wonderful experience. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, and the class was exactly what I was looking for. It pushed me to my limits and made me feel amazing after I completed it. They even have showers for those of us on the go and looking to sneak in a work out on the way to work. Highly recommend, and canβt wait to check out the sauna room!

Reflex offers top-notch group classes, generally in a HIIT format with ever-changing variety (and a mix of instructors, too, all of which have been great.)
The vibe is always appropriately encouraging, welcoming people that have just (re)started working out, folks adding something new, or "animals" that want to push themselves to another level. Do not be intimidated to stop by - it is *not* a scary place to walk into, even if you don't know anyone (my case). A number of my peers commonly express "I've tried a lot of gyms, and I love it here."
You can pay as you go, pay monthly, or establish recurring billing, but there is not a long-term financial commitment (e.g. 12 months, etc.)
With the free trial offer (Reese offered to extend it, if I needed more time to decide - I didn't need it), there's no reason to not give it a shot.

Maybe it was just the class that we tried but I was unimpressed. We did HIIT training and it felt more like high school gym class than a led class. The facilitator was also participating in the workout instead of walking around the room helping newbies. Granted it was a substitute so maybe thatβs why?

I started the free trial with Reflex fitness last week. The classes I have completed with Reese and Jen have been awesome! Was really scared about going back to a gym in the COVID era but so glad I did. Small class size, everyone sanitizes hands as they walk in, plenty of airflow with all the doors open, wiping everything down as each person uses it, and masks required. I was also anxious that I'd be too out of shape to do a class and barf/quit before it was over but it was easy to adjust where necessary or take a quick breather when I needed to and still leave covered in sweat and happy with my workout. Perfect balance and I was also pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to push myself while wearing a mask. If you're worried about it, it's much easier than a traditional gym to be able to just step outside and get some fresh air if you end up getting winded though so definitely give this place a shot!

The classes are very challenging (but at the same time super fun) so I always leave the workout feeling accomplished. I started coming here with a friend who said she loved the workout. Ever since joining her back in the summer, I have come back every week. I get a great workout and sweat. The gym is always clean, the class is set up prior to start and each class has the same principle while changing something minor to keep the workout engaging. Reese and Amanda and all of their trainers are great! They are personable and make you sweat! Doesnβt matter where you are at in your fitness level, you can make any work out work for you. The classes and personal training are definitely worth it!

My husband and I love Reflex so much. All of the trainers are incredibly positive and motivational. Even though we moved significantly further away, we still find a way to get down there a few times a month because there is, without a doubt, no better workout in the city.

I have been a member for more than three years, and have convinced most of my local family to join too. The classes are fantastic, the atmosphere is comfortable and age inclusive, and the members and staff are supportive and inspiring. You will leave each class feeling accomplished and fully worked out. Trainers will give you modifications for injuries, while pushing your athletic progress further. I highly recommended this gym.

A great place to get your workout in with awesome trainers and group classes. Reese (owner) used to be an MMA fighter and when I do personal training with him its always a great challenge and fun (boxing, lifting, cardio... ). Come join the Reflex family!

Reese is an excellent trainer and he works incredibly hard to give his members a unique and challenging experience. Amandaβs classes will make you push yourself even when you think you canβt keep going. Bottom line - great fitness studio with awesome instructors/owners. Awesomely fun and challenging workout!! I love when you can workout hard for a shorter amount of time and feel like you got such an effective workout. Kayleigh is a great instructor who motivates and encourages you the whole time. Iβd highly recommend checking Reflexfit out!
