John is absolutely excellent as a trainer and teacher! His background in golf, physical training, and kinesiology are an unbeatable package. He really took his time with me during the initial TPI diagnosis, and has been very diligent in following up to see how I'm performing and also how the physical side has translated to the golf course. I'm not saying its all John, but we since we started working together I came tied second in my club championship net competition and posted a career low score at my home course. I can't recommend him enough!

I have been happily working with John for almost 5 years now. He has been amazing helping me get stronger and more fit and flexible. When I started, I had certain limitations which he easily worked around and individualized a program to make sure I was still reaching my goals. There's everything to like about John. From our first meeting I was completely at ease. He's relaxed and straightforward and the studio is a great workspace. I came in to get help with an injury from a riding accident that happened quite awhile before. Even after other therapies, I had loss of flexibility and ongoing pain. Since then, John has designed an amazing program for me and now I'm more comfortable and effective in my work as a horse trainer, with all its physical demands. (THANKS, John!)

I’ve been working with John for about 9 months and the results have been very impressive. I was overweight, out of shape, and suffering from back and knee pain. John has helped me lose weight, build strength, and – most importantly - eliminate the pain. His approach to training is encouraging and challenging, but never overbearing. In February 2017 I first visited John Foelber at his studio. I was having pain in my hip from my golf swing which radiated across my core and into my groin. I could not play 2 consecutive days without much discomfort I went to my internist about this and he said it’s possibly an issue in lower spine and a MRI would be needed , if I was to pursue this issue. That’s when I decided to seek an alternative method of relief. The first session John spent 90 minutes with me using a pressure sensitive roller and after 1 more session I was pain free after playing a round of golf. I have been a client ever since.This past week I played 191 holes in 8 days ( Pinehurst Golf trip 4 days, and a weekend golf tournament here). I had no problems in hip or groin. I am 61 years old and John is the real deal.

I have worked with John at Renewed Strength for over four months and love the process and the results. I thought I was in pretty decent shape for my age (61); however, the TPI scoring quickly identified my weaknesses. I like the one-on-one sessions because John is able to tailor exercises specifically to your capabilities and needs while being mindful of any physical issues. Exercises are always somewhat different to keep things interesting and focus on different aspects of your fitness as related to the golf swing. I believe that John has a truly unique understanding of exercises that relate to both bio-mechanics and the golf swing. The results of my training are that I hit the ball more consistently and farther, and my scores have gone down. Though I ended the 2016 season with an index of about 12, my current index is down to 7.6. Last season I had a total of 6 rounds under 80; I have already had 8 rounds under 80 this season (March to May). I even had 5 birdies in one round! I can’t say enough good things about Renewed Strength….highly recommended!

I love golf. My back does not. Tried better living through chemistry (muscle relaxers) and that doesn't work. John did an assessment to understand my limitations. He identified specific muscle groups to strengthen my back and my back has never felt better. We also worked successfully to increase flexibility. My handicap is headed down and there is no back pain.
My need was specific to golf. I'm confident John can help non-golfers as well. Highly recommend John and Renewedstrength.

I started going to Renewed Strengh LLC about two weeks after John opened his doors. I have been an avid golfer for 40 plus years. I was excited to find out that John was TPI ( Titleist Performance Institute) level 2 certified for fitness. I have not been one to join gyms or seek out personal trainers. All of my exercise has been on my own and to say the least I have not been to successful. Currently I am attending the golf fitness group classes that meets twice a week. I have been going every class minus 2 or 3 in for the past 90 days. The classes are well structured and John explains clearly how the exercises relates to the golf swing. the have seen a noticeable improvement in my golf game especially better stability and improved rotation. If you want to get better at you game come check out Renewed Strengh you will not be disappointed
