Legit for the price. The AC being out for a while did suck and the wifi does suck, but I have been to a ton of gyms as I travel often and seldom have found ones with good wifi. There is a lot of equipment packed in a small area. It's very clean with spray and wipes available. Plus, it's not a crowded gym at all.

If you're looking for an Equinox with the bougie accouterments, this ain't it. But if you're looking to lift this place is really good.

This place is truly incredible! 💪 From day one, the members have been welcoming and supportive, creating a community that feels more like family than just a gym. 🫶 I’ve lost 20 pounds ⚡️ and built real strength across all my major lifts. My journey to turn my dad bod into a father figure is in full effect!!!!

And let’s talk about the smoothies 🥤—they’re only $6–$7 and honestly better than Tropical Smoothie! Just one of the many perks alongside recovery therapy, nutrition guidance, and phenomenal personal trainers who are dedicated to helping you reach your goals. 🙌

✨ Here’s what makes Results Gym stand out:
• 🏋️‍♂️ Friendly, supportive members that make it feel like home
• 📉 Personal progress: down 20 lbs and stronger in every lift
• 🥤 Affordable, delicious smoothies ($6–$7 and better than big chains!)
• 🧘 Access to therapy & nutrition guidance
• 👏 Knowledgeable, inspiring personal trainers
• 🧼 Spotless environment—equipment cleaned after every use
• 🚿 Bathrooms that stay fresh and clean all day
• 🔥 A place that makes it hard to leave because everything you need is here

Grateful to call this my fitness home ❤️

This gym has all the equipment one needs for bodybuilding, powerlifting and Olympic weightlifting.

The reasoning for the 2 star rating is that this place has terrible WiFi and no working air conditioning during a summer heat wave.

The staff knows this, but I don't think the issue has been fixed or addressed in years. I'm not the only review that has mentioned this.

Complacency is the motto, they get away with it because there's no other gym that is stacked with the equipment a serious lifter needs.

Just understand that before you sign up for membership.

Let’s start with the good:
Staff is friendly and very helpful. The classes they offer are really nice and a great option for members who like to work in groups. The shakes are also very good. They recently updated the lighting, which was needed.

Now, the bad:
The parking lot is atrocious and is in desperate need of attention, with several potholes and no lighting, so you have to use your phone’s flashlight if you are working out early or late in the parking lot to ensure you don’t twist your ankle. WiFi is always a hit or miss. Air conditioning hasn’t been working for weeks, and it’s become a joke between the members as we are always told “should be getting fixed in a couple of days”. Not sure if the issues are due to current management or if the landlord of the building won’t put the money into making the facility halfway decent. Equipment is very “loved” and could use some replacing/upgrades. As there are not many gyms offered in the county, there isn’t much of an option to go anywhere else. The purpose of this review isn’t to bash the place, but they need to really realign their priorities of how to make this a gym that is better for their members and will want to keep them loyal, because at this time, if a gym opens up anywhere in this general area, they will be losing a lot of business.

Always has at least 3-4 machines out of order. The AC went out last summer is still not functional. I'm sure it won't be fixed this summer. Staff is nice.

Good variety of equipment, but it’s degrading/rusting. Most of them are operational but if one goes “down,” it is down for a good long time.

It has been SEVERAL weeks that this gym has not had operational air conditioning. When you ask the staff, they have a scripted answer of someone is coming “in a few days” or “tomorrow” yet it’s never fixed. It is unacceptable. This gym charges a premium compared to what I was paying in Annapolis, certainly taking advantage of limited competition yet cutting corners when it comes to caring about its members. If you’re going to charge premium prices, you need to provide basic amenities. Air conditioning. An operational water fountain. I struggle achieving progress in my training due to the excessive temperature and humidity. Hopefully the owner or landlord start thinking about the members and less about their pockets.

UPDATE- 8-2024 - Still very happy with this location !! We started going to this GYM the first of January 2021. The staff has been very nice. They are always making sure the equipment is wiped down & clean. Love all sorts of TV channels to watch. The restrooms are VERY clean. Plenty of wipes available to clean equipment after use. We liked this place for following the temperature check, cleaning of equipment & masks better than most other places we checked out before going joining here.

UPDATE: I guess a review is a “blast on social media” as the management would like to put it when it’s a review and feedback.
I also didn’t know a “delay in response,” also what management wrote, is emailing the next day. When in reality it was 4 days later.
Besides whoever is emailing me the only person that was even remotely helpful was Riley so thank you.
-Thank you and good luck to you on your future endeavors.

I wanted to like this gym a lot because I lived so close, but I really am disappointed with it. One it’s very tiny for it to be the only gym in the area feels very claustrophobic and tight, and you can’t go into the studio part of the room because it’s only for classes. The wifi doesn’t work so I couldn’t really get my music going, if I needed an app for a workout it wouldn’t load, nor could I send any messages. I will mention I am a military member and when I tried to cancel my membership because I’m leaving the area it took days for them to get back to me that they needed orders for me to cancel my membership so I don’t have to pay them for the buyout fee. Not to mention they couldn’t find me in the system when I called. Even after they seen the orders it’s still an 30 day cancellation process so I’m still paying for another month of my membership that I won’t be going to also I would’ve gotten it to them sooner if they emailed back earlier. I would say if you are a military member that goes on tdys,
deploys or pcs often I wouldn’t recommend going here.

Decent gym, I have been a member about 1 year and a half. I usually lift from 9-11pm. Currently I am not happy with the new cleaning service. The mens locker room is closed for cleaning with the door locked at 10 pm. I am currently waiting for the locker room to open so I can
get my belongings and leave. I have been waiting for 30 minutes now. This has happened to me two out of my last three visits. Its definetly bothersome to have to wait to leave the gym.

Be aware that if you are a fit young woman and do not entertain unsolicited conversations with the older men, there will be complaints about how long you use the equipment even though there are men that will sit on one piece of equipment for 30 minutes with no complaints. Also the equipment is always dirty and rust is always rubbing off on you

I’ve been coming here for a few months now and all I can say is this gym is pretty disappointing. The equipment is constantly dirty. I’ve been pulled aside and was briefed on how other members are complaining about my over use on the squat rack. Mind you I spend about 20 minutes. Also keep in mind other members being men will spend 40 min to an hour and no complaints on their use.
Their was complaints on me taking pictures of myself after my workout, yet I see people recording their workouts. This gym is very hypocritical and judgmental.

I'm not sure where my monthly fee goes. When machines break they are down for months. BEWARE!!! The owners of the gym take advantage of military members; first time I've had something like this happen in my military career.. I gave them a copy of my orders in JULY to have the memberships for my wife and I cancelled (PCSing in Sept). Come to find out they intentionally didn't cancel our memberships until October just to squeeze am extra $60 out of us (in violation of the SCRA and federal law)..which is surprising since there are so many active duty military in the area and i think one of the owners is a veteran. Not only does the gym lack functioning equipment, apparently they also lack values and basic human decency. It's a great example of a person or business saying "we support our troops" and then turning around and taking advantage of us for their own financial gain. I'm personally disgusted and recommend you stay away at all costs.. especially if you actually support the military; this place certainly doesn't.

Do not, for the health and safety of your child and family, go to this gym. Our 1 year old was diagnosed with pneumonia after a virus that had spread among the children and staff in the daycare was not made public, and they had not sterilized. Ten people in the daycare got pneumonia from this virus from attending. At no point was anyone told that an illness was going around, and for ten people to catch it means they had not properly sterilized the environment. My daughter got sick more times than I can count.

When trying to cancel our membership due to an upcoming PCS, I was told on two occasions when to cancel my membership and what to bring. I followed their exact directions and sure enough, was charged for an extra month. When calling to try and straighten this out I was talked down to, interrupted, and confidently told that I was wrong over and over by he manager April. Despite telling her and confirming the dates on attendance that I had been informed by her staff on two occasions how to cancel and when to avoid further charges, she told me she had done me a favor by cancelling my contract at all (that's yet to be seen I wouldn't be surprised to get charged again.) When a service member gets orders a business has a legal obligation called the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act to cancel contracts such as gym memberships, however she was very clear that was inaccurate and she was married to a marine and knew better than me. She then hung up on me. I will not get my money back. I will not get an apology for being given wrong information. We were duped and taken advantage of then treated horribly for trying to right their wrong.

I could go on and on about this gym, it was our only option and I met some wonderful staff that did try their best to make lemonade out of lemons, but don't go here. Don't take your child here. Don't give them your business. I gave one star only because i couldn't give zero.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. I’ve been a member on and off for about 4 years. I recently moved to VA and I need to cancel my membership. I’ve been trying to get in contact with management for weeks. Every time I call, the people at the front desk feed me bs like no manager is in the gym today or you just missed them. Now the first of the month has passed and I’ve been hit with another membership fee for a gym I’m no longer attending. To make matters worse, when I called again today (for like the 8th time) in an attempt to speak with a manager, an associate name Jessica treated me terribly. I’ve never experienced such horrible customer service in my life. She had a nasty attitude and even yelled at me on the phone as if I was bothering her. Then she told me don’t bother calling here, contact the gym in Prince Frederick because they didn’t have time for this in Owings. Her words. They’ve left me no choice, it’s time to contact the Better Business Bureau. I’ve told my friends and family in the area of my experience and they want to cancel they membership too. Maybe if this place actually treated their paying customers with human decency and respect people wouldn’t be so quick to leave. It’s a shame honestly.

Owner doesn’t care about the gym only the money! Equipment is always down and for long periods of time. Wifi is always crashing. Place is small. Pot holes in the parking lot. Poor lighting around the place. Commercials on the tv are getting out of control, guess they are sponsoring the gym. Wish there was another gym in the area, might make the owner care.

Been going here off and on for about 5 years. Recently renamed to Results Ftiness. Solid gym with a good balance of cardio equipment and free weights. The employees are friendly. The gym is small so expect to be fighting for space at busy times. Only 2 stalls in the men's bathroom so if your preworkout is killing your stomach you're probably SoL. Unfortunately, the dumbbell weight rack doesn't have labels so it's constant chaos, machines stay broken for weeks, and the water from the water fountain has a very strong iron taste. For $30 a month I kind of want more, but the lack of competition from other gyms means this is the only convenient option for me.

My family has been a members of this gym for 6 years. We have seen a decline in the equipment. Much of the equipment is old and/or out of order. On the TV monitors fox news, local news and the World Gym channel audio works. CNN, no matter what machine you were on, the audio does not work. We have reported it multiple times and yet nothing is done. The staff behind the desk said “yeah a lot of people have that complaint”. They told us to read the closed captioned. Yet no one has fixed this issue. This is going on now for well over a month and seems to be intentional as no one as taken action to fix the problem. I think it’s probably pretty simple..... hit the “unmute” button.

I use to like this gym. I ended my membership there a few years ago and found a much better, REAL, gym further down rt 4 called Iron Foundry. That gym is a real gym with a great environment for all lifters. World's gym is a step away from being a planet fitness. Lots of people with ILS ( invisible lat syndrome) and people who forget what leg day is unless it's quarter reps on a leg press while screaming light weight. And one squat rack that usually was filled with people doing full body barbell curls. World's is the biggest place for stereotype gym lifters I've ever seen crammed into one place. Also if your a serious lifter who actually lifts weight heavier then 135 pounds be prepared to be yelled at for "slamming" weights. I don't slam my weights and sorry but 560 pounds on deadlifts for reps is going to make a little noise. I ended my membership on the spot when one of the trainers came running over to stop me and scold me like I was a child. I can't figure out how this place is still open.

Iron Foundry is where it's at.

Long story short....dont waste your time at worlds

This is more of a comment. If you're the person in this gym who keeps sticking chewed up gum on the ellipticals, then you're a bad human being and you should quit the gym, stay at home all the time, become a hermit, live off the squirrels that wander into your yard. It would make the gym and the world a better place if you did that.

Despite the harsh reviews from so many easily offended people, I find this to be a good gym and I will tell you why. First of all this is a mom and pops style gym and not a multi million dollar, multi national heartless gym. Next I would like to point out there are plenty of people from both sex’s, all age ranges and all fitness levels. This shows that it is very much alive and there are always people going. Convenience, they open early to give the am crowed a head start (4:30 to 4:45 am). They provide baby sitting during certain hours where some gyms provide non. It’s true there is minimal staff and that keeping the bathrooms clean when you have so many people making a mess all the time is noticeable. There is virtually always someone on the floor cleaning the equipment, more than I can say for most gyms. The equipment that is there works, and new peices come in as others become worn out.

I will say as of recently the gym has improved with new paint, doors, fixed pot holes, and sink counter tops, but it still has the same equipment since the placed opened its doors (over 15 years ago). The average person pays $30 a month with an additional annual charge of $30 in November. I'm not sure why, because like I said before the equipment is extremely old, which I consider to be the most vital part of the gym. Does the gym do what it needs to? Yes, but it could seriously improve its cleanliness, payment methods, and overall demeanor. My biggest complaint is the fact that they raised the price for a guest visit, it was $7, but now it is $10, and it’s not like the community has much of a choice. This is the only large gym establishment in Calvert County. They use to hand out towels years ago, but now they insist that everyone wipe down their recently used equipment with paper towels, which is not very environmentally friendly. The bathrooms are atrocious, and I try to spend the least amount of time possible in them. I can honestly write that I have never witnessed anyone utilize cleaning supplies in that hazardous location. If a piece of equipment is broken you should expect 4 to 6 weeks in till it is fixed. The second stair master is broken as I write this review, and I’m sure it will not be operational anytime soon. The trainers are nice, and once in a while (if they are in a good mood) you will hear a faint whisper of a “hello” or “goodbye” as you enter or leave. The people are nice too, you have your typical Bros, Old people, High Schoolers, Senior Citizens, Cardio Bunnies, Yoga Pants Gurus, Meat heads, and Average Joes all trying to get in shape and not bother one another. I do like the fact that they put on two different news channels; FOX and CNN, which gives the audience a fair unbiased balance of what Trump is doing on his new reality show. However, the commercials are on a repetitive brain washing propaganda loop, which will result in some type of mental illness or fatigue. Headphones are absolutely necessary to avoid the annoying, frustrating, and infuriating whistling that goes along with the “Parasi School of Speed” commercial. The gym does have a nice protein shake bar. I never use it, but I have heard good things, and sometimes they will pass out free samples. Overall it is a mediocre gym and for that I give it two stars, and if it were not for fixing the pot holes recently it would have been a one. I almost lost a friend in one of those craters, luckily enough I had my ladder with me and he was able to escape.

Then there fee you can join almost 2 24 hour gyms in Montgomery county for the price of there one gym. If they were not the only gym around I would certainly go to another one.
