I couldn't be more pleased with the instruction, the expertise and the care that every yoga teacher at this wonderful studio/community offers me every lesson. As a man of 73 years old I am listened to and guided carefully through poses with any necessary accommodations. Yoga practice is my very best medicine for my mind, body and spirit. Thanks, gang!

Megan is absolutely the best—knowledgeable, welcoming, and truly inspiring. The studio offers a great variety of classes for all levels, and the atmosphere is always warm and inviting. The breathwork and sound bath classes are especially amazing—deeply grounding and rejuvenating. Highly recommend to anyone looking to deepen their practice or simply enjoy a great yoga session.

I’ve been attending the studio for a little over a month and have been so excited each time I go! I’m pretty shy/socially awkward and often don’t say anything but the environment each time I go has been welcoming, positive, and supportive.

Why didn't I start taking this class months ago? Yoga asana with a little flow thrown in with whichever weights feel right to you. I love the opportunity to switch up my routine.

It is not competitive to be the best like some other yoga classes. Jasmine is sensitive to the physical and emotional needs of her students. It helps me to rid myself of PTSD symptoms and get grounded. One of the perks is I always sleep well after that class! I am leaning much from a patient, informed and sensitive instructor.

Very welcoming and energetic experience at the studio. Even better studio offers in-person as well as virtual classes.

I use both options as the studios have ample room, facilities and rules to maintain social distance AND when I don't have a ride, classes that also offer virtual Zoom participation enable me to attend class with the in-person attendees at the same time. Rates are reasonable as the classes I've attended have experienced yoga teachers and the studio offers a wide range of yoga classes for students at all levels and at all stages of life.

If you are looking for community, feeling welcomed immediately without judgement and a variety of classes than Rolling Brook Yoga is for you. As soon as you step in the door for your first class, whether it’s basic yoga or Pilates or Yin, the instructors and fellow participants welcome you as if you’ve always belonged. As someone that has done Yoga on and off for years, that definitely doesn’t have the perfect posture nor is advanced, I’m comforted by being challenged by the classes/instructors but also reminded to always do what’s best for my body. There’s no comparisons nor made to feel like I’m not skilled enough to do a particular pose. Being supported in a safe environment has allowed me to expand my practice and try new things. The Myofascial Release Yin Yoga class has truly become my “medicine” to heal/restore my body and has allowed me to engage in their Barre and Beyond Basics classes. I highly highly recommend this studio and community!

Yin yoga is the ultimate form of self care! Fully supported poses held for minutes provides me with not only a great stretch for my body, but allows my mind to quiet down and relax as well. Find an hour in your busy schedule to give this gift to yourself!

I can’t express enough what a wonderful instructor Vicki is. I’ve been coming to her Beyond Basics class for over a year now, after almost five years out of practice. This class offers a perfect flow for those seeking both the physical and mental benefits of yoga. I enjoy the combination of relaxing and challenging poses. I always leave class feeling restored and whole, regardless of how I entered the space that day. Vicki does an amazing job walking students through poses in a way that is gentle, non-judgemental and very easy to understand. The ways she has taught me to tweak my poses have made all the difference to my practice. You can tell how much passion she has for yoga and care for her students. So grateful to her and her teaching and what it has done for my life!

I have been taking classes with Kathy for 5 years. She consistently offers alternative positions to poses that participants find difficult due to injury or disability. There is always a balance exercise to challenge us and gentle movements to increase flexibility and strength. This is a great class for beginners and those who prefer a gentle yoga routine.

Every class brings something a little different. This class was no different. Although there is always some degree of familiarity, the variation keeps the class interesting and challenging. I always appreciate the modifications. The class is a peaceful secluded island in the middle of a stormy world.

Rolling Brook Yoga has, quite simply, changed my life. The rewards are increased flexibility, a heightened respect for and knowledge of the human body, and a profound excitement for conquering new challenges. After six months, I've gotten to know the instructors and how they approach yoga. Of course, each have their own unique styles, but all welcomed me as I evolved in my practice. Overall, a gem.

I have been a regular at Rollingbrook since Fall 2018...The teachers are wonderful, there is a large range of classes to fit any level of experience from Gentle Yoga to Advanced Asanas with everything in between: yoga for mothers to be, vinyasa, meditation and even Tai Chi offered occasionally. The facilitators encourage us to only do what is comfortable for us, they are more guides and provide oral instruction and obviously model the asanas with their technique. Best thing I could have done for myself during the pandemic. Also you can get recordings or practice virtually.

RBY has reopened with limited people per class and a careful schedule. I am in a Gentle Yoga class with a limit of 5 students. We are all masked, bring our own mats and props etc. RBY always keeps the studio impeccably clean.Hand washing before class and windows open.I feel safe returning to my Yoga mat at RBY.

This lovely studio offers a friendly, caring and supportive environment, as well as excellent teachers and a great selection of classes. Their focus isn't on "the perfect pose," but instead on the joy and peace that yoga can bring to the mind and body. Even with most classes being held online now, the sense of community is still strong at Rolling Brook Yoga.
