Great workout. Awesome environment that wakes me up and motivates me to give it my all. If you leave here and don't feel destroyed, you're doing it wrong.

I took my very first Solidcore class yesterday while visiting my cousin in town, and I am so glad I did! The instructor Ashley was incredibly sweet and attentive from the start. Since it was my first time, she went out of her way to explain things clearly and checked in with me often throughout the class. She was very hands-on and helpful, making sure my form was correct and that I felt comfortable with the movements. Even though I don’t live here, this experience made me wish I did so I could come back to more of her classes. Wish I could just take her back to Florida with me lol. Truly such a wonderful instructor and such a great introduction to Soildcore!!

Overall I had a great experience at this location. For one scheduled class, I was 5 minutes late. After getting on the machine, the instructor told me I had to leave class because it had just turned to the 6th minute. I tried to find this in policy and could not find it. I will end up calling corporate.

If you’re looking for a workout that’s equal parts humbling, empowering, and slightly unhinged (in the best way, of course) [solidcore] Annapolis is *that* girl. It has truly become my favorite way to start the day!!
Coaches Alyssa, Darby, Jaime, Meghann, and Emily are all rock stars. They bring great vibes, made an effort to learn my name, AND somehow remember that my left oblique is secretly weaker (just me?). They’ve each gone above and beyond to help me and make me feel welcome. <3
Also had the chance to take a class with Tyler, the senior area manager, recently and can confirm: the bar is high for a reason. She was lovely, encouraging, and the workout was absolutely brutal. 😂
This place has genuinely transformed how strong and confident I feel in my body. 10/10 recommend! Bring a positive attitude, and maybe a will. You’ll be fine! (probably)

This is a challenging workout, but so worth it. The darkened room with blue lighting is perfect to not feel so (on display) as you learn the simple but tough moves and grow in strength and confidence. I love that each day has a focus on a specific group of muscles. The body balance that is created is similar to a daily personal trainer at a fraction of the price. The knowledgeable staff is exceptional, and the facility is always clean.

I consider myself to be very active and fit, but I’m so humbled every time I take class. It’s very challenging - I'm struggling within the first few min but I walk away feeling really good. Darby is amazing. She doesn’t play around! So far she is my favorite. 💙

Workouts are the absolute BEST, but not sure if I will be able to continue given how loud it is at this location. I've talked to them (and emailed) and have learned that studios 'have to keep the volume at a certain level to stay on brand,' but for whatever reason, this particular studio is significantly louder than others I've visited (Harbor East). Not sure if it's the size of the room or just the volume of the instructors' voices, but it's really too much for me even with earplugs! My ears ring for hours after class. :-(. I'm sad about it.

I’ve been a loyal member since 2018 and although it is expensive, anytime I think I should cancel and save money, I go to class and can’t imagine not being a member! I go to solidcore 4-5 times a week and it helped me get into the best shape I could for my wedding. I’m now also a member of F45 and love the combination of both. While F45 is great for cardio and strength training, I find I get way more out of lower body strengthening at solidcore and F45 hardly does core-focused workouts and when they do it’s only a couple stations and not enough for me. To keep up my core strength, I need solidcore!
I used to have flabby arms and slight armpit fat (in my opinion), and I noticed a considerable difference from solidcore. I can wear tops now that I thought didn’t look great on me in the past because I don’t have issues with my arms and armpit fat anymore!
Whenever I’m traveling, I’m always looking to see if there’s a solidcore I could pop into. I love trying out different studios and knowing exactly what to expect. That being said, shout out to coach Amanda (currently on a hiatus, but coming back soon I think??) because she is by far my favorite coach. She’s challenging but not overwhelming and she throws in some unique pulses and moves I know they don’t teach in training because no one else does it! When she comes back, definitely try a class with her.
To sum it all up, Solidcore is my longest fitness relationship and I’m a huge advocate for it. It can be intimidating and confusing for a newbie, but once you get the hang of it, you’ll never want to stop going!

The coaches are nice, but I did not enjoy the workout. It is NOT pilates, but rather high intensity strength training with fast paced music & atmosphere. As someone who has an experience lifting, it felt similar kind of like body pump. I did find the workout really hard and I would not recommend starting with the normal classes for someone who even has some pilates experience. I felt like I was going to fall. This does mean that it is a challenging workout and will not get boring. Overall, I do not penalize the studio for these things.
However, I do not like how the workout does not incorporate stretching, flexibility, footwork, etc. There are about 20 people in a class and since all the reformers are being used, the instructor never actually demonstrated moves. There are also no break and is a "take a break" format for when you physically can't do it anymore but I believe this sacrifices form (an essential component of using a reformers). Since there are no breaks, they are constantly counting down and describing the next workout moves which is confusing. Since the instructors traditionally do not go on a machine to demonstrate, they call individuals by name across the room as good examples and for corrections. For the former it is confusing if you don't know people's names, but the latter is just not the best if you are a nervous beginner. However, all these things could just be a personal preference, but I did not like how they handled unilateral exercises. We did a unilateral leg exercise and only did ONE side because they said we were working both legs. Obviously yes, but not in the same manner with the same muscles. I just can't imagine a workout where you just do a series of exercises on one side only is a good idea.
For these reasons, I did not enjoy my workout at all. If any of the things I mentioned appeal to you, then this studio may be for you as everyone is different. The people seem to be good and many of the issues I described seem to be a result of the Solidcore model rather than this specific studio.

Awesome studio! The coaches are so supportive and welcoming, and the workout kicks a$$. You never plateau, there are always ways to challenge yourself and modify moves. Each day has a different muscle focus so you really work everything over the course of a week. Love it!

50 minutes of solid work. You will be sore for a day or two but after a couple of classes you will find there is no better overall body workout. It's as hard as you want to make it. But the benefits are off the chart great! Balance, strength, time-under-tension!

Signed up for a pilates class & arrived 15 minutes early to fill out paperwork. This was my first time visiting this studio- I didn't know what to do to set up & no one at the studio acknowledged that I was there. I stood at the desk to check in & literally stood there for 10 minutes. No one said hello- no one checked me in, no one gave me the paperwork to complete, and no one gave any guidance for how they operate at the studio. Confused, I left. Also, I got charged $20 for "missing" the class because I signed up with my classpass. Worst experience I've had a gym/studio. I won't be going back to studio who can't even acknowledge a customer in their space who wants a good workout.

I like the solidcore concept and appreciate the flow of the workout. I love that it isn't just another pumped up cardio circuit - I think they have some really great principles here for workouts. I do feel that they are geared more towards people who are already in shape and want to take their workouts to the next level. For a beginner, I didn't feel like the modifications were that helpful. I asked one of the instructors what I could do to modify a workout that was causing me wrist pain and she said, "gee, I don't know" and walked away. Maybe once I'm in better overall shape, this workout will be right for me.

I was really pleased with the class and instructor. I am a beginner and was in an "all level" class. The instructor helped me when needed and complimented me by name during class when I was in the right form. It made me feel more comfortable and not nearly as intimidated as I was anticipating. Thank you!
