I joined Strong Fitness in April 2021 and I’ve had excellent results. I attend Boot Camp faithfully 3 days a week and I’ve loss 16 pounds and more inches than I can count. The owner, Danny is super amazing - he explains the workouts, shows you how to do the various exercises and pushes you to be better every session. I look forward to going to class each week. Great atmosphere, friendly, and no judgment - it’s all body types and everyone works at their ability. I love that I don’t feel like that I have to compete at this gym. Great investment!!

I am a supporter and attendee at Strong Fitness. Not only is Danny an individual who has a disability he is a man who perseveres and strives for excellence. He inspires others around him to be the best they can be in-spite of any adversity they may face. Encouraging, inspiring ,dedicated ,and humble is the true definition of Danny Strong and what Strong fitness stands for.

Danny is an amazing trainer! I’ve learned a lot about my physical capabilities and have grown tremendously as a fitness competitor. I will end my journey having learned way more than I knew before. The professionalism Danny displays is evident of his good character.

This is a responce to Matthew Prohaska, the review you wrote criticizing the man in the maroon hummer with Strong Fitness decals on the back and side at the wawa in LaPlata MD this morning was made without any knowledge of the situation! The man who was in that hummer was Danny Stong. He is the owner of Stong fitness gym and personal training.

I met him at the hospital I get my prosthetic limb cared for. I was suprised to see that Danny Strong was a amputee himself! I later learned he lost his leg in a serious vehicle accident where his wife and unborn child didn't survive. You can not jump to conclusions about people without knowing the facts. He is a Great man who had helped me from being a awesome man to look at for advice, help, and support. Think about what you said.. Sense I met him and started attending his gym, I have felt better about myself and trained harder! He has been a huge inspiration to me from knowing some of what he has been through and seeing who he is today, awe's me!

This is in response to the negative and untrue review that Mr Prohaska wrote about Danny.

This really upsets me. It angers me actually. People truly have no idea what the handicap face not just with their own limitations but with the judgmental limitations that society puts on them. My dad suffered a massive stroke that left his right leg paralyzed. I’ve seen his daily struggles, and his strength that ALWAYS superseded those struggles. My father in law is also an amputee. He was run over not once but twice by a drunk driver. Lazy is not in either of their lives. If anything they both work harder than anyone I know because of their disability. I’ve heard the hurtful comments made to my dad and to my father in law like Danny received from Mr Ignorant (Prohaska). Danny is the exact opposite of lazy. He truly is the epitome of his last name “STRONG”. Seeing him daily in the gym is inspirational and motivational. Lazy is not a word that anyone would ever use to describe Danny. I’ve never walked by Danny and seen anything but a smile on his face. He pushes his clientele and himself beyond anything I’ve ever seen. We need more Danny’s in the world and less Mr. Ignorant’s.
MR. PROHASKA: I challenge YOU to workout side by side with Danny with your two working legs and let’s see who is lazy then. Danny would go ALL day and then some. Yes, he is strong physically but he has an inner strength that would kick yours and anyone else’s ass all day long. He went from having two working limbs one day to living without the ability to walk the next day. How dare you call this man lazy! Lazy would be Danny succumbing to his handicap and refusing to put the work in that allows him to walk up to his Hummer daily, get in it and drive to Wawa, and WALK into Wawa to get his coffee. Danny gets it done EVERY day because of his will and his mindset of defying the odds. I hope the five minutes it took YOU to write your review was worth everyone in the county, on social media, reviewers reading online, etc., seeing just how disrespectful, judgmental, and ignorant YOU are.

Excellent Gym!! Very knowledgeable and helpful staff and owner. Everyone is so helpful and also gives encouragement and that extra push needed. It's my home away from home when life gets me down I can go to Strong Fitness and refocus, work out and have fun. Sometimes I forget that we are working out as it's a fun non judgmental environment.

To the individual who posted a negative and ridiculous review about strong fitness owner Daniel Strong I'd like to say ...fact check before speaking in an open forum. There's no need for me to restate what's already been said in this review section from satisfied clients, friends and people who truly know Daniel's testimony and character. The comments and stars speak for themselves. Daniel Strong is an amputee, trainer, inspiration....and most importantly my friend. The statements made....again...ridiculous.

Although this review is in response to Matthew Prohaska, I think this is a great opportunity to detail how awesome my experience with Danny Strong has been.

Matthew, you are woefully ill-informed, Danny is a below the knee amputee, and has been through more hardship in his lifetime than any single individual should be forced to endure.

I have known Danny for the better half of a decade and he has always, and WILL always be one of the most humble, educated, good-hearted men I have ever met. His influence on me as a young man cannot be explained in its importance. Please take this as an opportunity to think before you post negatively about an encounter with a small business-owner that didn’t even take place at his place of work.

Danny is a gift to the community and deserves all the respect in the world.

This review is in response to Matthew Prohaska's review of Strong Health and Fitness. Mr. Prohaska, you are sorely uninformed. In your review you mentioned a fully capable individual parking in a handicap spot at the Wawa in White Plains. That individual you saw was Daniel Strong, the owner of Strong Health and Fitness. Daniel Strong is a survivor of a car crash that not only took one of his legs, but, he lost his wife and unborn child. Mr. Strong is an amazing man who has overcome tremendous heartbreak and has become one of the very best people in our community. I have known him for almost 7 years. He has been more than a trainer to me, my wife and my two sons. He has been a great friend and he's one of the best people you could ever know in your life. He is a good Christian husband and father. It is totally irresponsible of you to give a review on his business when you have absolutely no information on him. From one small misunderstanding, you are trying to hurt a small, minority owned business in the Waldorf area. You have no idea the caliber of man you are trying to harm with this irresponsible review.
