Whether you are local or just visiting, I highly recommend incorporating Summer Rain Yoga into your time in Ocean City! This class is always a highlight of my week, my favorite way to start my day, and is equally beneficial to the mind, body, and spirit. No matter age, size, gender, level of yoga experience, anyone and everyone will be welcomed by Summer and will get something out of this class!

Yoga on the beach is always the highlight of my visit to Ocean City! Summer and her daughter are welcoming, thoughtful, mindful instructors. There is nothing like the peaceful venue of the beach and looking out at the ocean as you practice. The class is athletic, yet geared to all levels. I HIGHLY recommend joining them on your mat!!

This was the best yoga experience I have ever had β€οΈ Summer has such a gentle & peaceful approach to her instruction, allowing all levels of yogis to do what their bodies are capable of, all while channeling our inner & outer balance. Plus the beach atmosphere was so peaceful for my soul. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

I have been enjoying Summer Rain Yoga for over two years. I have MS and know that each session has been instrumental in helping me cope with this disease. These classes are perfect for anyone, no matter their ability or skill level. Summer, along with her daughter, Nicolette, are excellent and encouraging instructors providing challenging classes with appropriate modifications to ensure a positive outcome. The beach studio setting cannot be matched! I enthusiastically recommend Summer Rain Yoga!

I was in OCMD for my sister in law's bachelorette party and we did a private indoor yoga session with Summer! She came to our beach rental and provided the mats. It was a rainy Saturday morning, so it was the perfect day for some indoor yoga. Summer was so sweet and made us all feel comfortable! The flow was fun and challenging and Summer dedicated the practice to love..which I thought was so nice! I learned some new tips that I will take with me into my own practice. We all enjoyed our practice with Summer and felt energized to start the day. The next time I am in OCMD, I hope to try the beach yoga! Thank you Summer!!

I look forward to the beach just for Summer Rain Yoga! After two years of practicing with Summer it only gets better every year. Summer Rain Yoga is for all levels of yoga, and though yoga on the beach can feel a little different Summer and Nicolette guide you through with the right cues to help balance any wobbles practing on sand can bring. Instruction for all levels for each pose helps anyone who may just want to βtryβ yoga for the first time or try their practice outdoors. Each class begins with a meditation to bring focus to your practice and ends with a wonderful Savasana helping you get ready to enjoy an amazing beach day!

This is the second year the I have joined Summer for beach yoga at 122nd street. It is always and enjoyable and safe practice. Summer is a very experienced, professional yoga instructor and this is evident as she varies her classes and can immediately adapt should the need arise. Quite frequently inexperienced people will join the class for a first time yoga experience. Summer presents instruction that the beginners can understand and enjoy while offering options for a more experienced yogi. Her daughter Nicollete demonstrates the Asanas and is quite helpful in coordinating the moves. Quite often, dolphins our for a morning swim, are viewed! π¬
It is an enjoyable way to start a vacation morning!

It was my first visit to this beach vinyasa class today & I'm definitely going to become a regular. Much attention is given to the group's needs such as providing insect repellant, water break time, & modifications for making a shadier savasana during a very sunny end of class & other "comfort/ safety details. Individual needs were also accommodated with Summer's watchful eye offering adjustments & pose assistance when requested. This morning's class included other best practices of the several indoor yoga studios I attend. That made me feel right "at home." The friendly, non- competitive, non-judgmental & supportive atmosphere was the perfect welcome for a newcomer. The beach @ 122nd St is beautiful & calming. Plenty of early morning parking too. Please note I was delighted this is a well sequenced & paced traditional vinyasa class & not a "bootcamp style" yoga experience like some beach classes I've tried. Namaste οΏ½
