It seems like there’s always something broken or missing that takes forever to get fixed or replaced. The only scale in the locker room has been broken now than a month. Sauna thermometer is missing for months. They need some ownership of these issues with management.

Good if you like basketball, need a daycare while working out, or like classes. The weight room is pretty mediocre, it’s cramped and there’s no organized plate system. The locker room is okay and the pool is good. It has a nifty centrifuge for your bathing suite that wrings the water out. For the price it’s good, as long as you use everything on offer. If you just need a traditional gym, or if that’s most important to you, there’s better options for cheaper.

⭐ One star for the gym, five stars for the human behavioral experiment

I’ve been going to Supreme Sports Club long enough to realize this place isn’t just a gym—it’s a psychological thriller. Especially at the front desk.

Now maybe I’m crazy, but every time I walk in and give a polite “Hey, how’s it going?” I get hit with the Columbia Association Classic™:

Dead silence + eye contact.
Like… full visual acknowledgment, no vocal response. It’s like talking to an animatronic that’s between firmware updates.

But here’s the best part—and I’ve tested this multiple times:
The moment an older gentleman walks in behind me, suddenly the same silent desk crew turns into a Chick-fil-A drive-thru.

“HEY HOW’S IT GOING!!”
Voice raised. Smiles activated. Full human mode unlocked.

I’m just standing there like 😐 …damn, was I invisible five seconds ago?

It’s giving:

“Greet no one. Express no warmth. Be present, but don’t participate.”
Front desk NPCs stuck in “young people don’t need greetings” mode. Or maybe I missed the Gen Z Detected: Mute Protocol™.

Look—I’m not expecting a red carpet or a handshake. Just maybe don’t treat me like I’m part of the flooring while you roll out a verbal parade for Bob from accounting.

Anyway, gym’s decent. Vibes? Not included.

If you are a member this place is a good deal, if not, it is super expensive. The staff are friendly, but no one enforced skating etiquette and young skaters are frequently skating the wrong way. The facilities are fine, but not my top choice of skate rinks in the greater Baltimore area.

2024: We LOVE it here. My son LOVES KidsSpace. Someone please tell this team that they are absolutely awesome. We have worked with Vanessa, Lucas, Cami, and Heather and they are all splendid and our son absolutely LOVES coming here. Having a peace of mind for my kid while my wife and I get to lift is just an amazing experience. 10/10 would recommend!

2022: Lots of machines and there is battle rope by the Tribe room! My first time here but will certainly be back! The employees (Hannah at the front desk) were super friendly and the guests and members were very respectful.

Edit: BodyPump classes are awesome!! Tom, Rich, Aimee, and Menchu are all wonderful instructors!!

This is my 2nd time becoming a member. I have equipment at home but I love the fact that the gym has everything i could need for a multi pronged workout. I love the pool which is my primary reason for joining but I also love the indoor track, the opening times, and the variety of the gym equipment. I use the jacuzzi and the sauna often especially after a nice swim.
I was surprised when I realized that I am spending 2 to 3 hours when I go for a workout, and it's not wasted time but actually mostly spent working out in the different areas.
The monthly fee seems high but it's worth what you get.

UPDATE 5/6/24- I am soooo upset that they are getting rid of the women’s gym. This was the one place I enjoyed working out because I’m uncomfortable working out around men. It’s really a shame. They claim “inclusivity”. Women should have a safe place to workout free from stares and sexual advances from men.

I really like Supreme Sports Club. I love their Women's only gym area downstairs because I feel uncomfortable working out with men around and doing my cardio, weightlifting and squat/ab workouts in there is very peaceful. My daughter loves the Kids club too and I love the variety of fitness classes. I've been a member for almost 8 years and it's my preferred gym in Columbia!

Staff was pleasant. Actually they did go above and beyond. I was there twice. My first time. I received a very good tour. And wish I could remember her name. She showed me classes. Signed me for one. Answered all my many questions. Place is HUGE.

Good variety of available amenities (pool, courts, track, weights, stay n play, cardio, fitness classes, etc) but spacing feels a little tights. Lots of narrow hallways and small rooms. Walls/floors likely in need of a slight renovation, and there is that familiar lingering “gym” smell that doesn’t seem to fully circulate out too well. Locker room cleanliness is about average for what you would expect from a gym. Not awful but definitely not super clean. Also, for the EV driver out there, they do have one singular EV charger in the back parking lot (it is a ChargePoint charger), and it’s unfortunately not a free charger. It costs $0.20/kWh, which is a bit higher than your average charging costs. Overall, given the wide variety of amenities and price point, I’d say it is definitely worth it if you get the local discount for having a Columbia, MD address. However, if you are outside of city limits (like I now am with my recent move) then you are probably better off looking at some other full amenities gyms in the area that are in the similar price range.

Went skating and it was great. Lights and music where fun. Compliants are just they didn't have anyone regulating the rule about skating in the same direction. Most people were following it, but not everyone, which made skating a little dicey as it got crowded. Also the music was not always appropriate for children.

Awesome health club! It has so many amenities including a women’s only gym area, 8 lane swimming pool, ginormous hot tub, renovated lockers, 1/10 mi indoor walking track, arena for roller skating, huge kids area catered to older kids and a yoga studio!

The family membership offers great benefits and access to all other facilities for CA. I’m so glad that I switched from the competitor gym 3 min away. I feel like I won a lottery! I mean, the facilities don’t look like a 5 star resort but the place is very clean and well maintained. I got lost at first because the facility is huge and everything is somewhat separated but after two visits, I know my way around. I haven’t seen the place very crowded yet maybe because it’s so large and there are 2 other gyms in the area.

Worst experience! I have signed on and the manager who signed my contract "gave me a good promotional discount" but she failed to mention that it was 1 year contract. I was tricked on signing the agreement and now that I have to cancel and pay termination Fee. I have only been to this gym 5-6 times ever and this is just ridiculous. Skating only review.

Great parking, safe location, slightly loud music, plenty of walls, not big steps in or out of the rink. FREE lockers.

Small rink, technically it's two small basketball courts, although the surface is well kept. The surface is not as good traditional skating wood floors but much better than stone. Perfect for most everyone except for high speed turns.

The cafe area is very quiet while still slowing some visibility to the rink. Great if you need to get away from the noise for a bit.

No events/games throughout the session. But they do host birthday parties.

I've only been to Saturday morning sessions so far. Will try to catch a Friday night some time.

absolutely huge rollerskating rink hidden in this gym! friends and i went for a night out and it was really fun. the rink was well maintained, with a track surrounding it, which worked well for my unexperienced friends to practice. it was fairly open, not crowded at all, on a friday night.

the lines for the tickets and shoes were short, but the concession line took foreeeever. and their soda machine was broken so i had to get gatorade 😿.

they played fun music, but I've seen roller rinks with better aesthetics. also i was given low top skates with a broken lace, which was pretty uncomfortable and bruised my ankles.

nonetheless we had a great time in this grand rink!

I love this gym, so much. And if I’m being honest, it’s mostly for the kidspace. My son is six, and looks forward to going with me to the gym almost every day. The staff is so friendly. They interact with my son, they play games with him, they remembered him by his name after his first visit. The gym itself is so spacious, with ample room to workout. I love that people are mindful, and keep things clean/sanitized. Staff in general around the gym is wonderful. So glad I chose to get a membership here!

This place used to be nice. Got a membership BECAUSE it was 24 hrs. After Covid, they still haven’t opened back up, yet they continue to charge the same prices. And the jacuzzi has been broken for five weeks, yet they offer NO compensation for members who come here on weekends just to unwind from 70 hrs of work. “Just keep paying” and they’ll do whatever they want. If something doesn’t work for five weeks then you need to assume some members are being cheated out of their membership. The manager, Luke, was supposed to call me two weeks ago, and he never picked up the phone even once. Just saw him at the pool by accident, and he knew my name before I even said my name, yet hasn’t even picked up the phone to call me. I thought he was just a lifeguard, yet he was the manager, and knew my name when I came up to ask about it. This facility and manager are being reported to member services and also to the district manager on Monday, June 6th, for cheating members out of their membership costs. When they fix the pool every summer they allow members to go to a different facility. This is what they should be doing when something as big as the jacuzzi or pool aren’t working. But they aren’t. It’s incompetence and total apathy towards their customers. They do not value their members or our money at all. Avoid this gym at all costs. Update: it started again on July 11th so I had to cancel my 8-yr membership after I got nothing but excuses from the association.

The showers now have a shelf, a grab bar, an inner curtain and an outer curtain. The grab bar seconds as a shelf for my cleaning products. The gym has enough room between stations and has plenty of bikes, elliptical, and tread mills. The sauna was ready to use so I dried off faster after my shower.

We Love Supreme!!! The staff are friendly, and the building it kept clean. Supreme has fun classes for all ages to join, lots of basketball courts, an indoor pool and multiple fitness gyms. This place is gorgeous, very clean. The staff is very kind and respectful. Parking was plentiful right at the location so the distance to walk to get in was quite short. They also have handicap ramps outside leading inside, so if you are having a party you can roll your love one in the wheel chair right into the building. Oh’ they have rolling carts for you to use to bring in your party trays of food, decorations heavy stuff up the handicap ramp as well. So if you are giving a party for roller skating they got you covered. 🙂

This is the best facility I’ve experienced. Rigorous preventive measures, spacious rooms and comprehensive equipment and programs...all make me confident and comfortable.
