My daughter started Synergy doing weekly classes for 2 years. We just started our first year of βteamsβ (competitive gymnastics). My daughter absolutely loves it. We are excited to see where the future takes her. :)

All the people there are super supportive. All the coaches care and love everyone if you want to do a skill and they donβt know how to spot all that they say is β go to the tumble track and let me seeβ they always find a way to help

My daughter has had the best experience at this gym! "One Gym One Family" is a motto that they truly live by. Coaches at the gym are well trained and hold each gymnasts physical and emotional well-being to the highest regard. There are also many team building activities that occur throughout the season. It's unfortunate that some families enter gymnastics without understanding the general financial commitment involved, which naturally increases as your child moves through the leveled program. This gym is no different than any other gym that I have encountered, in regards to their team, meet, and coaching fees. Top notch gym for your budding or experienced gymnast. You will not be disappointed with the low gymnast to coach ratio, and the amount of genuine love and attention each gymnast receives from their coaches.

BEWARE! This place and the people are horrible and will take your money. There are legal issues with this business scam, too. Donβt waste your money or time! Find a more reputable and safe place for your child to learn and be a part of the gymnastics community.

I couldn't be happier with this gym! If not, I wouldn't travel 50 minutes one way from a different state to take my daughter here. We started a year ago, and my daughter has gained skills and confidence, thanks to the excellent coaching staff. Their professionalism and love for the girls is second to none. When the owner of the gym goes out of her way to make sure your child isn't left out, you know this truly is a family. I have seen the optional coaches help, correct and literally cheer on my child in the gym. I have watched xcel coaches do the same. She has never been told she couldn't try a new skill, but is encouraged to try it and feels safe with the coach(es). There is nothing but love for the girls in that gym. As far as the PA, they've been open and honest with the parents, as long as you read emails and check the Facebook page specifically for the parents. They hold meetings with the families to make sure things are clear. They dealt with the covid backlash with openness and worked with the parents to keep costs low. And believe me, the costs are low compared to other gyms! This is the best gym, and I am so thankful we made the jump!

I had the pleasure of watching my little sister truly flourish at this gym. She is at her happiest when she is out there with the coaches and learning how to become an amazing gymnast. It is clear that all of the coaches and employees at this gym care about each of their gymnasts and want them to excel. These coaches work endlessly to provide for their girls and push them to be proud of themselves and all of their accomplishments.

When it comes to businesses or organizations that rely on community support, transparency and accountability are crucial. Synergy Sportz failed to provide clear information about how they were using the funds generated through tuition, meet fees, and other payments. Additionally, it's concerning that they resorted to extorting parents for additional payments to cover their own financial mismanagement.
Synergy PTA and management blamed their financial situation on parents not fundraising enough. Fundraising can be a legitimate way for organizations to raise extra funds, but it should not be relied upon as the sole solution to cover basic business expenses. It's important for businesses to have sound financial planning and management practices in place, rather than placing the burden solely on their customers.
There are serious concerns and frustrations about the way Synergy operates. The management does not allow customers a platform for voicing or addressing concerns.
I urge you to proceed with caution and consider exploring alternative gymnastics options for your child. Look for gyms that have a reputation for transparency, clear communication, professionalism, and fair financial practices. It's essential to find an environment where you feel comfortable and confident in the way your child's gymnastics training is being handled.
Remember, as a consumer, we have the right to voice our concerns and make informed choices about where our money is spent. Such choices should not be met with a gym attempting to silence opposing voices. We have the right to seek alternatives and advocate for fair treatment to help ensure a better experience for parents and children.
After 3 years, we made the decision to leave Synergy. We did everything that they asked and helped at every opportunity. They ignored our resignation letter and continued billing us months later. They refused to refund us one of the monthly tuition payments and cited a line from a contract stating that they can bill you another month even if you are not there anymore. What about a contract or promise to the parents for the gym to adhere to? Who holds them accountable when they fail to deliver or break promises?
"One gym, one family" is supposed to be the Synergy motto -- don't fall for it!

My husband and I attended a few meets that my nieces participated in. We did not like the way the children were instructed. I know the program is very expensive and has gotten more expensive over the years. It doesnβt appear to be worth all the money my nephew is paying to expose his children to gymnastics. There are many other good options for gymnastic instruction in the area.

Gymnastics class was okay. Canceled our membership back in November in person and confirmed over the phone. Apparently I have been charged monthly since then for a full membership even though we have not been going. Only now has an employee emailed asking why we haven't been going the last two time. It's been 4 months. No one checked on us earlier. Apparently it is hard to cancel once you start going.

I would give this gym negative stars if I could.
We signed up for a 3 month session with this gym to try things out. My daughter wanted to try out gymnastics and this gym had decent reviews so we went for it.
The first class went okay. The instructor was on time, my daughter had fun and was receiving the instruction she needed. I did not like that the children had to exit the building from a back door and into a busy road to be picked up, especially since my daughter is only 4.
After this first class, her other classes usually started 5 to 10 minutes late, the classes ended about 5 minutes early and the gym did not have a positive atmosphere. The water from the faucet in the women's bathroom also smelt like rotten eggs.
Despite the poor experience so far, we finished out the sessions we signed up for and the week before her last class, I emailed, left a voice message and notified the gym in person that we will not be attending anymore sessions. The front desk clerk even wrote the last name down to cancel my daughter's account with them.
Surprise! A charge is on my account this morning for a summer 2022 session payment. I have tried emailing and calling over the last several weeks to get something in writing confirming the account was closed. No one responds to any emails made using links on the website.
I finally received an email response this morning after just typing the gym's email address into an email. Clearly, their website does not work.
The email response said my daughter's account had been disabled, the overpayment was returned to us and for my daughter to have a wonderful summer. Sounds okay, right? The referred to my daughter by the WRONG name in the email! Just ridiculous. So, I had to triple check they had the correct account since they referred to my daughter as Saylor and not Sadie.
I rarely write reviews on Google, but this horrible experience has led me to this. Join this gym if you want poor customer service and no professionalism.
