My son started taking Taekwondo lesson at BBMAC in June 2024. He loves going back to each lesson which is very valuable for me. He envisions himself having a black belt and succeeding further. BBMAC team acknowledge & rewards the kids for their academic achievements that I really like. I am taking the strength & conditioning lessons and it’s helping me to build up my strength.

BBMAC functions as an institute and I love the discipline, professionalism, respect, and kindness of the team. My son and I are happy with the lessons we take, so I highly recommend BBMAC for parents who would like to enroll their kids to Taekwondo class and also for adults who want to work on their strength and health.

This place is the best. The coaches are incredibly knowledgeable and motivating. The classes are fun and there’s plenty of variety. They have friendly competitions, bring a buddy days, partner workouts and other team building activities. There’s tons of support from staff and other members.

I absolutely love this gym! I've done martial arts (Muay Thai) here for years, but after getting my black belt, I decided to move over to the strength and conditioning side. I knew I needed to incorporate more lifting into my workouts, but had no idea where to start. This is the best place to learn! The coaches are all fantastic and there is a real community vibe. Everyone is super supportive and there's NONE of the macho/gym rat mentality. Everyone is super chill, regardless of where you are in your strength training. I feel like I've learned a ton and I feel great after every class.

About eight months ago, I started a long overdue search for a new box after a ten-year run at another local facility. After checking out six other training facilities between Rockville and Kensington, I settled on T.E.A.M. University, formerly CrossfitForever.
At the top of my search was quality coaching with a lot of variety in the workouts. The facility and parking access were also important. It might sound secondary, but the music and sound system cannot suck. That would be a deal breaker. I need good, loud, ass-kicking music to get the job done. After eight months, T.E.A.M. checks all the boxes. The coaches are engaged and motivating and have excellent taste in music. The facility is spacious and clean. The parking lot is pretty decent, but you've got to take it slow with younger athletes transitioning from adjacent martial arts classes to waiting cars.
T.E.A.M. members are supportive and friendly but serious about pushing themselves to their physical limits. The coaches are great about coming up with scaling options that keep you in sync with the rhythm of the workout so that you don't end up feeling like you're not in the mix.
Overall, the vibe is upbeat, and most importantly, I'm continuing to improve, both in fitness and strength.

I avoided exercise and self-care for 20 years and worried about time, affordability, and accessibility. But the coaches and members of T.E.A.M.U. helped me believe more is possible than I imagined. I've been going for 8 months and feel better than I have since I was in school!

I joined because I needed motivation and a sense of community. I moved from DC where I had a great community of people I adored from the fitness gym I went to. I missed that a lot and it took me almost 3 years of trying other gyms before finally trying and finding it at TEAM U Strength and Conditioning. From day 1, I was welcomed and never felt intimidated! The workouts are challenging but always do-able. And if you need modifications for any reason, there are options! I highly recommend joining TEAM U!

If you want a positive atmosphere, a dedicated trainer every workout, and to change your body into a lean mean air balling, Olympic lifting, dynamic stretching, cardio blasting, every type of workout machine, this is the place.

At T.E.A.M U, you only need to motivate yourself to walk through the door. Once you’re in, you walk out an hour later drenched with sweat and feeling accomplished.

The staff and the members here are amazing. So much energy, but not intimidating on your first visit. I had my first experience here at their "Friday Night Lights" during the 2018 CrossFit Open. Everyone was friendly and inviting and cheering me on like I had been there since day one. Everytime I go back to visit I know its going to be a great workout and I leave feeling even better.

Couldn't be happier with this gym. Flexible class times and they offer babysitting during some classes. The facility is nice with lots of equipment, and they are always adding new gear.

The real highlight of this gym is the coaching staff. They are all very knowledgeable, skilled, and most important, encouraging. They have all helped me achieve things that I didn't think I could do.

fantastic gym. I'm relatively new to the area and this gym as what all the other gyms in the area seemed to lack for me -- personal touch. The WOD's a great and diverse, and the coaches do a great job of tailoring each work out to the individual as needed. TEAM U has a great atmosphere and great members. The equipment and facility is top notch as well. I highly recommend.

In my few decades of adulthood, I have belonged to many gyms, done many at home exercise programs and tried hard to motivate on my own in my quest for the great and enduringly motivating workout regimen. At Rock Creek Crossfit, I have found a truly supportive environment where the collective spirit and determination of the class, coupled with expert and attentive coaches and a strategically planned WOD (workout of the day) combine for an incredibly challenging and rewarding experience that keeps me coming back. The focus is not just on athletic skill, endurance and agility, but also on team work, camaraderie and community. These together make Rock Creek Crossfit a truly exceptional "box" where you find yourself getting stronger physically and mentally, and actually seeking out challenge and improvement.

RCC has great coaching for ALL ages and ALL skill levels, with a dedicated, hard-working, family-friendly community. I highly recommend the gym and the coaching staff, who have excellent technical skills and are friendly, understanding, and patient. The coaches know their craft and provide excellent personal training and group classes!

Rock Creek CrossFit is like no other gym I've been to. I have tried other CrossFit gyms in the metro area, and they were okay, but the methodology and programming at Rock Creek CrossFit is different. The head coach and all the other coaches are devoted to each member, regardless of ability, and so intelligently approach the concept of CrossFit. It's not just another Box, it's a community, lifestyle, and philosophy that speaks to me as a member. I've made tremendous strength, flexibility, fitness gains in the 9 months I've been a member. They had an intramural Open team competition that I participated in for the first time - it was tons of fun! It was indeed competitive, but it really brought folks together! I so appreciate their hard work and commitment at Rock Creek CrossFit.

Rock Creek CrossFit changed my life. I'm doing things I never thought I could and working on goals I never thought I would have. I love the age, ability, and skill diversity at Rock Creek CrossFit, and the encouragement we all get from one another and the coaches to do our best, and push ourselves to the next level. If you're motivated by tough workouts in a team environment in which you can just compete against yourself (and the clock), and feel an unbelievable sense of accomplishment as you collapse in a puddle of sweat with your gym friends cheering you on, welcome to Rock Creek CrossFit.

After almost 8 years of zero exercise, I decided to try Rock Creek CrossFit. The coaches have been excellent in helping me to learn new skills and diligent in continuously teaching proper form. The community is awesome and someone is always there to give a high five and cheer you on. RCC has made a huge difference in my fitness and my confidence.

When my husband and I decided to try cross fit, we looked at several gyms in the area. We were positively surprised by the size of Rock Creek Cross Fit, the ability to bring our kids while we work out - they have a kids section for kids to hang out - and the friendly and welcoming environment. My fitness level is far below my husband's but the coaches here are great and have the ability to accommodate any fitness level. Although at first I was a bit intimidated by all the equipment, the coaches made me feel comfortable and before I knew it, I was part of the Rock Creek Cross Fit family - a great, fun, and welcoming community of all ages and fitness levels supporting each other's individual fitness and health journey.

I did not truly appreciate the art of cross fit until I came to RCC and learned how proper form, functional movement, mobility, and core strength are all beautifully connected to make you stronger than you ever thought possible. RCC's coaches are amazing at bringing together all these aspects in every class they teach. They also are dedicated to the successes of each individual member; you are not lost in the group. As a frequent attendee at RCC, I also appreciate the well thought out WODs and how they are balanced from week to week to help you progressively improve your skills and strengths.
