Highly motivational, she works WITH your body, and injuries - old or new - that you come in with and designs a personal training session tailored to your needs and goals. ...a great follow-on after physical therapy; preparation for that specific sporting event (tennis tournament, 10 K, marathon, weightlifting competition or looking good at that wedding) or just getting back into shape or shooting for very specific goals. Lo can "bring it"! Also, she is certified to give professional stretches! Book a 60 or 90 minute session with her and she'll help you work those tight hamstrings, quads, shoulders and problem areas. I have been doing personal training with Lo 2x a week for the past 10 months. She is incredibly positive and motivating. She pushes me but never too much. She is extremely knowledgeable and keeps the training very interesting by using a wide variety of machines and exercises. First, she is just light. She’s got this easy, upbeat energy, but what I value most is that she creates a safe space. I love training with Coach Toya! She varies the routines each week so it stays interesting, and always includes free weights, mat work and machines. She is friendly and encouraging and firm - she doesn’t let me wimp out of the exercise! I have been working with her for about 2 years with the goal of increasing my strength to combat arthritis in my knees. Manny told me a story of how Hershel Walker did 1000 push ups a night and had natural strength without using weights. I didn’t believe him. One month later Manny had me doing 800-1000 push ups a night. He unlocked 🔓 my body showed me things that I thought wasn’t possible and he had me in the best shape in my life. My experience has been very unique and intentional coming into the fitness world with high blood pressure, sleep apnea, borderline diabetic. Was a very scary moment in my life, and I never thought that it could change or turn around for the best instead, look at it at the end of my life.
I so happen to be one day walking down a sidewalk at a parade when I bump into MANNY who changed my life forever in 2012 and he’s still my trainer, life coach, and health coach.
He was at that time a personal trainer at Sportfit in Laurel, MD where I eventually became a member and my journey began.
Long story short Manny took me from 330 pounds to 234 pounds in 8 months hard work dedication is what we put in all natural organic old-school workout. We did multifunctional training, combined with cardio, great supplements, and a great meal plan not a diet, but a lifestyle change.

I started personal training sessions in 2022 with Manny Rothmiller in preparation for Gastric sleeve surgery in January of 2023. As a result I was approved having lost over 30 pounds in 3 months before surgery. I was provided with nutrition consultation as well as modified activities based upon my ability level. Ultimately, after my surgery and continued training sessions, I have lost over 80 pounds. The sessions provided me with improved strength and stamina but more importantly improved mental health.

I highly recommend Coach Manny and Coach Kee! I met with Coach for about an hour. We did 30 min strength training and the other half discussing the program and benefits. Within that time she gave me some nuggets on stress relief that have stuck with me. She is an inspiration because she has been where I am and shared her journey. Looking at her before and after pictures I never would have guessed it. She has the most calming and supportive spirit.
Coach Manny is all about wellness. I did the DNA testing and he told me what the results meant in layman’s terms. It included what I should and shouldn’t be eating, the best exercise, how often, what diseases I’m prone to and how to prevent them. And it was not a one and done conversation. He is committed to continuing to send me tips and encouragement. If you are really ready to change your health journey I highly recommend Coach Manny and Coach Kee.
