A necessity in our community, and our world. A space that is an honest antidote and anchor for our collective stress. We all want to speed up when we in fact need to slow down. Sedona House is the home for caring for yourself through that stillness. A reminder that we need spaces and experienced teachers to hold us through the moments we forget and disconnect. Amanda, is an exceptional leader, an anchor for our wellness community and has created The Sedona House with the most authentic sincerity, and rigorous care for the well being of all.
Thank you for being the lighthouse for us all to find our way through the dark.

Sedona House is such a unique and intimate yoga studio. The space feels cozy, calm, and relaxing from the moment you walk in. They provide yoga mats for you to use and even offer tea. All of the instructors are welcoming, accommodating, and friendly. It's my favorite place to unwind and practice yoga and meditation.

This really is a safe space! I was looking for a yoga studio but I found so much more! I've never done sound bath or meditation before this studio came to my life but now, I am regular. Every week I am looking forward to my classes to get some teachings, slowing down from the outside madness and just be. Amanda and her team created such a wonderful studio, it's an inner island in the outside world.

I had the opportunity to take my first class and I was very impressed with the studio. The space is lovely and calm and I was offered tea as I waited for class. The studio furnishes everything so there is no need to bring a mat or props. Shawn (Sean?) was a wonderful instructor with clear directions and affirming messages. I will return!

Wow. When I can make it, your studio is a highlight of my week. I'm not a yogi, but I've been dabbling in many Yin/restore/soundbath type sessions around bmore to balance my active lifestyle and help with some connective tissue issues... for me, Sedona studio stands out from the pack... from my very first Yin Restore session, both Madison and Carrie were (and continue to be) welcoming, respectful and full of positive energy and intention. I like that there are several Restore sessions offered across the week / weekend to accomodate my schedule... and that they vary the sessions.
The studio is peaceful (like a cocoon from bmore noise), parking is generally not an issue and equipment is laid out and cleaned. The community is also down-to-earth.
I may eventually try a private session for guided focus on specific connective tissue areas or mental resets... not sure yet how to maximize the session. But as long as quality stays high, I'll be a repeat customer and keep bragging about this place to my friends and therapists.

Highly recommend Tong’s Sound Bath experience at The Sedona House. Curated with kindness, a warm welcome & tailored to individual preferences with the addition of Reiki healing energy, if desired. I adore this place. It’s everything you’d want a studio to be—welcoming, calm, inclusive, and community-oriented. It’s so refreshing to go to a class where you’re not 3 inches away from someone else’s mat. It’s clear that the business is very intentional—they’re thinking about more than making money. I attended an event in Fells and they gave each attendee a month membership free! Extremely generous and so rare among competition.
I love that they do non-heated yoga classes. It seems like there are so many heated classes in the city but not many non-heated. They also offer meditation and sound bath classes which are amazing.
There’s a cozy space outside of the studio where you can enjoy complimentary tea and warm your feet. All around wonderful space. I only wish they were on classpass so that I could go more often!**
**Update: just a few days after I wrote my review, the owner reached out to me personally to let me know they just signed up to be on Classpass. Yet another example of how great they treat their community!

This studio is just beautiful- so welcoming and perfectly appointed with lovely props, fresh tea, and space to relax before and after class. But what is SO special is the people- Madison is a warm, highly skilled instructor. She knows asana and deeply cares about us, the students. She speaks straight from the heart, with a deep inner knowing. I just love everything about this studio- and I’ve been taking classes all over the country for 40 years. This place is tops- 🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼

I’ve had the pleasure of attending two of Madison’s sound baths at the Sedona House, and both of them were amazing. I don’t have much experience with these kinds of meditative practices, but I can tell that Madison is extremely talented in her craft. She is a very welcoming and kind soul, and does a wonderful job at creating a safe and relaxing environment, coaching you along as you dive into the practice. I fully plan on attending more sessions in the future, and I would highly recommend the Sedona House to anyone and everyone that may have interest in meditative practices.

Hands down the best yoga studio in Baltimore. This studio gets to the heart of yoga, the essence of why we practice. Entering the space feels like a warm hug - hot water is prepared for tea, palo santo is burning, and your mat is laid out. The owner Amanda is a kind and gracious person who care about making others feel loved. This place is special.

Unique space in Baltimore, amazing community of instructors and participants; nice range of classes especially for winding down, finding the time to be active and healing towards our bodies but also for our minds - the monthly membership is totally worth having the ease and simplicity of all of the classes accessible at all times, and allows for a serene safe space to unwind all during the week. We love Sedona House and would recommend the trial membership to anyone curious.
EDIT
Coming back to this review, we could not recommend this community enough for anyone interested in their health - the center provides the community and tools for an amazing journey of self-improvement but also just plain old fun; the teachers are very accessible and all of the students / members are so friendly and similarly motivated to improve not just themselves but maybe the world!

This is the best yoga studio I have ever experienced! Besides my home studio, I always take yoga classes whenever I travel. The Sedona House exceeded all my expectations, and was truly the best classes ever. From the beautiful space/decor in a lovely location on the water, to the wide variety of props, to the excellent teachers and comprehensive spectrum of classes offered, to holding true to all they promise on their website, they are definitely a studio I highly recommend to anyone, whether it is a beginner, advanced, or somewhere in between level. (And I tried 5 different classes in one weekend! I was surprised how much I benefitted from "The Practice" class, after I returned from a hike earlier that day.) You feel grounded and calmer the minute you walk through the door, and all they offer continues to nourish you inside and out, at whatever level you need.

There are so many wonderful things I can say about The Sedona House. It has truly become a sanctuary for me; a critical piece of my overall wellbeing. Amanda has so clearly poured so much earnest care and intention into this space to be a truly "come as you are" community-building experience. While I have yet to do all of the different classes that they offer, the Sunday Sit has been one of the most rewarding experiences in which I have ever partaken. Amanda's guided meditation is cathartic and meaningful. The studio itself is also a wonderful location and beautifully curated. If you have ever been to Sedona, the energy will be wonderfully familiar. If you have never been to Sedona, this is what it is like; transportive and transcendental. I cannot recommend this studio enough as a place to better yourself, engage with a supportive community, and give back wellness to yourself and others.

I took the house flow class today (a non-heated vinyasa flow yoga class), and it was amazing. No need to bring your own yoga mat, they provide one for free. I really enjoyed the space and the energy. The smell inside was so good. Just being in that space made me feel great. The instructor was really nice, skilled, and helpful. After class, I got myself a hot tea (they provide tea bags + hot water + mugs)and sat on the sofa to finish it and I felt so good afterward. Can’t wait to come back for another class!

Very rare to find yoga studios these days that focus on the actual mind + body practice of yoga rather than treating it like a workout class! It's the small details that make this studio great. Props and mats are set up for you, complimentary tea, salt lamps, beautiful views, and no rushing out for the next class. Plus the instructors are truly top notch.

An incredible experience! I wanted yoga combined with meditation options for classes and this place continues to get better each time. Every teacher is equally kind, knowledgeable, and talented. I love the space - it’s not over crowded and they offer a great variety of options for times and classes. It’s also very fairly priced, and they provide all the props you need, including mats, so you can just show up as-is. I love the “mid-day sit,” which is a perfect combo of stretching, light yoga, and meditation/breathwork. The sound baths are a nice addition, as well. I can’t recommend this place enough! Parking can be tricky sometimes, so leave yourself more time to get there, but definitely worth it!

The place was nice and clean. And the sound part itself was nice. That being said, as a disabled person I found there to be very little consideration for ppl with disabilities. The cushions we were told would be comfortable, they were hard as a rock, so was the bean bag I got for my neck, which caused me to have neck pain for 3 days after. The pillow was also incredibly loud to move and disturbed everyone around me wile I struggled for an hour to find a position that wasn’t painful. What ever the instructor burnt before the class started, gave me a migraine also. The blankets were also incredibly rough! If you’re looking for a sound bath that also provides a COMFORTABLE experience, like I was, this will be very disappointing. Oh they did offer us to sit on a hard wood bench as well, which my friend I took found also very unpleasant. I even tried to tell the instructor “the cushions were so hard I felt like ppl could hear my bones creaking” and she just laughed at me… very nice able bodied person… very ablest.

Incredibly beautiful space and kind people. I first came here to learn about meditation and gradually ended up incorporating yoga and other things. Yoga "hits different" when you come at it from a place of improving your life and mind rather than just doing it at a gym or a space that is mainly focused on the body.
Sedona House has become my oasis to reinforce self-care habits throughout the cycles of the year.

Sedona House is truly a sanctuary for anyone seeking to reconnect with themselves, find peace, and rejuvenate their mind, body, and spirit. I had the incredible opportunity to experience one of their yoga, breathwork, and sound bath sessions, and I am still feeling the positive effects long after leaving.
The moment you enter Sedona House, you're greeted by a sense of calm that instantly puts you at ease. The space is thoughtfully designed, with soothing colors and natural elements that make you feel like you’ve stepped into a serene oasis in the heart of Baltimore. It's a peaceful retreat where you can escape the stresses of everyday life.
I personally attended the sound baths. It was a magical experience especially being directly on the water-almost Neptunian. The soothing vibrations of the instruments—gongs, crystal bowls, and chimes—washed over me, creating a deep sense of relaxation and emotional healing. It’s hard to put into words, but it’s a meditative experience that reaches deep into your soul, leaving you feeling balanced and refreshed.
Sedona House is a nurturing space where you can tap into your inner peace and leave the world behind, even if just for a little while. Whether you’re looking to deepen your yoga practice, explore breathwork, or indulge in a profound sound bath experience, this place offers something truly special as it was clearly built with intention. It is clean, welcoming and well thought out.
I highly recommend Sedona House to anyone looking to nourish their body and soul in a welcoming and supportive environment. It's a gem in Baltimore that offers an experience unlike any other. I can’t wait to return for my next rejuvenating session!

If one of your goals for 2025 is wellbeing then you have to try this studio in Fells Point! I took my first Sunday Sit class this morning with Amanda and it was such an amazing experience. What's really great about Sedona House is the focus on mind-body-spirt and the variety of classes they offer. I was actually more interested in checking out the studio for the meditation and more mindful classes which is an offering you don't find in boutique fitness studios in Baltimore so if this is something you've been curious about then definitely give this studio a try!! The owners are a very kind and super friendly young couple that have created a really welcoming and beautiful space with all of the amenities you would need for your practice. Bonus...I forgot my mat today so was pleasantly surprised to find that they don't charge mat fees which is very unusual but appreciated for sure. Can't wait to go back tomorrow and check out the Sound bath + Reiki class!

I could rave about this small (but growing business) for longer than there are hours in the day. Self care and love are the core value of this establishment and it shows. They do things differently for a reason, and it isn’t just a breath work or a yoga class… it’s so much more! The foundations the Sedona House are built on are taking care of ourselves and each other. Being new to Baltimore, and new to creating my own yoga practice, The Sadona House has given me a welcoming space to really embrace yoga as a practice and not just another way to 'workout'.
I loved 'The Sit' this morning where I got to look inward and focus on what I really need! (Breath-work & meditation)
The 'Slow Flow' classes give a newcomer like me time to really get comfortable in poses. (I love not feeling rushed to go from pose to pose, I get to actually sink into the practice without it feeling like a workout.)

If you’re looking for a soft landing place to press pause and take care of yourself, Sedona House is it. I’ve only taken a handful of workshops and classes thus far, but have found them extremely grounding and regulating. Their offerings include practices that are hard to find elsewhere, and the instructors and attendees are warm and welcoming. The environment is lovely, minimalistic, and calming—neutral colors, cacti, candles. While expensive relative to some other studios, I do think their classes offer something different and are worth investing in to the extent that works for you, whether that means a membership or just signing up for classes or workshops that call to you. I hope to be able to sign up for a membership in the future so that I can take class more often.

My father and I joined Amanda's meditation class Monday evening. My father has cognitive issues due to a traumatic brain injury and my goal is to expose him to the practice of meditation, as it can be so beneficial for anyone but there are many studies that indicate it's especially helpful for TBI survivors.
Amanda went out of her way immediately to make sure my dad was comfortable. She led a wonderful session, guiding us through breathing and a body scan. Her class was perfect for anyone with or without any prior experience in meditation. The space itself is serene and a wonderful place to spend time. We'll definitely plan on returning for mediation or other offerings in the future.

Took my very first class yesterday evening at Sedona House ‘Embodiment & Somatics’ with Maya. The space is so warm, safe and inviting. It’s easy to feel right at home and settled once you walk in regardless if you are journeying solo or know anyone there. Excited to return many many times. 🤍

The Sedona House is a great place to come and relax. I’d definitely say I’m a beginner at utilizing meditation and other practices but I feel very welcome and received when I come for a session. You truly don’t have to do anything or bring anything, just show up.

Visiting The Sedona House is always, always, always a calming and restorative experience. Even when I don't realize I need it, this space and the community give me a safe environment to be vulnerable. I love the variety of class offerings that allow me to try new things (like yesterday's sound bath!). Also, the products for sale are incredibly beautiful and tempting.

Since the opening of Sedona House in August 2022, I’ve held a monthly membership and attend classes 3 times a week plus workshops when possible. My favorite regularly scheduled classes/teachers are in the evening on Monday (Melt Meditation w/ the owner, Amanda), Tuesday (Manifestation Meditation w/ Rachel) and Wednesday (Mind/Body/Spirit Meditation w/ Ryn). I love the workshops as well and find those offer me a great deal of insight into how to expand my meditation practice on my own/at home, as well as pushing the boundaries for me into things I’ve never done before. The space Amanda created is simplistic, beautiful, clean, cozy, and serene. Amanda sources many different high quality items that complement meditation practice/self-care from local small businesses. I personally love her selection of books, crystals, and handmade jewelry. Over the last few months, Sedona House quickly became my favorite place to just…BE. My time here brings me the calmness I was not able to cultivate on my own. I’ve seen an improvement in myself, my anxiety, my seemingly constant operating mode of fight/flight/freeze, my mental health, my temper, my friendships/relationships, and the way I’m able to handle things that range from professional catastrophes to personal “adulting”. Most notably, I feel the grip of perfectionism slowly loosening and I attribute most of that to my state of mind these days; I’m much gentler on myself and others. This place has supported me greatly by giving/teaching me about the tools I didn’t know I needed. For me, Sedona House is a place to learn how to use the mind in order to reach the levels of self far beyond the mind and I’m immensely thankful to have a space like this that’s a short drive from home. I regularly recommend Sedona House to friends in the area and would highly recommend this space to anyone starting or expanding their meditation practice/journey of self-discovery…AND THERE’S HOT TEA ALWAYS AVAILABLE!

Amanda has a gift for creating nourishing, uplifting, and mindful spaces that make people feel safe. The Sedona House is no different. Her passion for personal wellbeing radiates throughout the studio and her commitment to bringing in thoughtful, expert leaders to host classes means you‘ll be in good hands whether you meditate with Amanda or one of her facilitators. 11/10 highly recommend!

I cannot recommend The Sedona House enough. The space is absolutely gorgeous, immediately setting the tone the moment you walk in the door. The décor is thoughtfully selected and every piece is intentionally placed.
Their teachers are amazing and help you expand your mediation practice in meaningful ways. I've been regularly meditating on my own for years, and with just a few of Amanda's classes have found that I've been able to deepen my practice. There are cozy mats, meditation pillows, and blankets available for use to help support your practice.
The classes and workshops offered bring the most knowledgeable teachers and build a sense of community. The Intentional Co-Working session is my new favorite!
The Sedona House fills a niche that was missing from Baltimore.

This space is absolutely gorgeous and you can feel how much intention was put into every single detail. The soft and grand openings felt like I walked into a home away from home type deal and I wasn't really expecting it. Amanda, the owner, let us use this space for our most recent Baltimore Women's Circle and it allowed us to drop into community, connection, and play pretty quickly. Thanks Amanda and the Sedona House team for creating such a beautiful space and home for community!
